Ngl, some of the stuff in that episode was real suspect even back then. Like scaling Jinx to Braum of all people because he bodychecked her with his door one time. Or giving her basically all items from the game despite the game itself having not been canon to the in universe lore since 2014.

TLDR: The events of Arcane are now the main canon which also means that any stories or characters that existed prior either don't exist or will be changed in some way to work within the canon of Arcane. This only applies to characters who either appear in Arcane or have lore that is contradicted by what happens in Arcane, any other characters or events are unchanged for now. Jinx, being one of the major characters in the show, has nearly all of her lore get changed since her prior lore doesn't fit with how her storyline ends in Arcane. So either some of her history will be erased or will be repurposed/shuffled around in order to fit within this new canon.

Can't they just turn around and say this is some kind of composite Jinx? In fact, the episode itself says this is League Jinx anyway in the title, so wouldn't the sleight-of-hand give them plausible deniability? Think 'specific incarnations' such as Xeno Trunks/Archie Silver?

Well the thing is that Xenoverse and Archie are just separate continuities. What's happening is that Arcane is completely replacing the mainline LoL canon like how DC's New 52 replaced the Post-Crisis continuity which itself replaced the Pre-Crisis continuity. "League Jinx" doesn't really exist as we know her anymore. They composited someone like Superman because of Death Metal's "everything is canon now" thing alongside DC having a habit of still referencing supposed non canon events.

I wanna say no, since we're the people who have Alien X at 1-B, so we'd probably say its too much more highly dimensioned than De-Fusion's potency for De-Fusion to be able to affect Alien X.what's Ben'
yeah but does Ben have any counters to this?
On the other hand, De-Fusion does seem to have the potency, shown with stuff like it de-fusing Marik & Ra. IDK if that counted as Marik's Soul because Shadow Game shenanigans & the wonky visual appearance he had while fused with Ra, but meh.
Also, Jaden's Speed for Season 4 onwards is only an unjustified MHS+; Both Original AND Reboot Ben have higher Speed ratings than that.

(Yubel scales to Speed: Massively FTL+ (Superior to Elemental HERO Neos), & IDK how Jaden didn't get in on that, what with being fused with Yubel & Neos being his ace monsters.)

So uhhh, yeah. Unless it's base human Ben 10, Ben probably outspeeds Jaden, & maybe Yubel in OG Ben's case.

I'm not sure of other examples that don't involve Milennium Item shenanigans (Like Bakura siccing Morphing Jar & Man-Eater Bug on two of the guards in Castle Pegasus, both of whom weren't duelists at all.) but Yubel's profile has this:
Pocket Reality Manipulation and Fusionism (Can create a dark space to trap people's souls,[13] Yubel can also, use the regular Polymerization spell card to create a pocket dimension where Yubel can force victims to fuse with some duel monster spirits, turning the victims of this fusion into a will drained slaves[8] can fuse herself and virtually anything else via Super Polymerization, including entire universes[29])
There might be other stuff, especially in GX's Alternate Dimension arc (Mid-late Season 3. It's a world where Duel Monster Spirits are more freely present.) but Jaden is fueled with Yubel, who can do similar cards-affecting-reality shenanigans, I think, so Jaden can probably Defuse Ben, Duel or not.

Without using modern VS shit, Harley still get cut by bullets and whatnot. Jinx has ******* rocket launcher. I dont care about cringe speed calcs, its not unreasonable to think that Jinx could win.
