Well, they went with lore and all, but tried to justify it through direct scaling and the closest open feats available. I say it's a decent compromise?
The music was incredible.

To be fair the gap was just that big that it’s not likely for Asura to catch up.Ending sequence felt kinda one sided towards Kratos. Asura got to throw one punch that got blocked.
Add in them for some reason not mentioning Asura's AD, his biggest feature, and I have to say
Im kind of overwhelmed.
I feel like the impact came from the surprise twist of it being included. Like, it goes "Kratos had the power necessary to turn this into his favor.... BUT". You get what I mean?Ngl but didnt it feel a lot like Kratos j7st stood there ate most of Asura rapid blows and that was pretty much most of it?
Also the alternate ending while its a good callback to end game, it wasnt having enough impact or death from Kratos taking that
Funny enough even 6 minutes felt shortYeah it did feel weirdly shorter than I expected, but it's still a solid 9/10 for me ngl. Might be a top 10 DB episode for me.
Its because he holds back and is much more calmer, when he took out blades of chaos he started being the offenseNgl but didnt it feel a lot like Kratos j7st stood there ate most of Asura rapid blows and that was pretty much most of it?
Only 100x? Eh. I get not being able to quantify his rising power, but not mentioning it at all is silly no matter how you look at itTo be fair the gap was just that big that it’s not likely for Asura to catch up.
Tbh, I knew it was over the moment destructor came in before power of hope. That and Asura's constant transformationsWhen Kratos smiled at Asura's giant fist I knew it was over
A difference of x100 for base Kratos vs peak Asura no lessTo be fair the gap was just that big that it’s not likely for Asura to catch up.
I straight up didn't really notice the music the whole timeWell, they went with lore and all, but tried to justify it through direct scaling and the closest open feats available. I say it's a decent compromise?

Funny how Kratos pulled a wyzen on him ironicallyTbh, I knew it was over the moment destructor came in before power of hope. That and Asura's constant transformations
Kratos even had a cheeky smirk at that very moment, lol.Funny how Kratos pulled a wyzen on him ironically
Asura: Heh...so thats what it felt like for him...
Kratos: Boy, you know how long i waited to try that?
Kratos just stood there and took it like a good boy. It was ass. At least make him fight back before you one shot him?Definitely coping, but I'm considering this an Asura W no matter what. A 3-A Calc for the avatar bust and that alternate ending. I'm going with it!
Yeah, I'll be preparing for my grandmothers' funerals.
They coming back from the dead to cook u lil bro, call that Grandma's wrathYeah, I'll be preparing for my grandmothers' funerals.
The Intro skipping the voices in his head was weird. It did feel like Kratos just ate all his attacks, but that may be his calm nature. I feel like the fight choreography could've been more dynamic.Ending was super one sided, transformations and escalation felt felt rushed, nothing super memorable choreography wise, and having Kratos just kind of blatantly copy Asura for the stopping big punch is odd.
I had really high expectations, and while that episode was nowhere near awful, it didn't have any stand out moments
Like I said earlier in the thread: I've already sacrificed a goat to Zeus for protection, I should be okayThey coming back from the dead to cook lil bro, call that Grandma's wrath
Pretty much my reaction. I wanted Bowser vs Eggman but didn’t get that. Still a good episode though.Twas a good episode, but didn't reach the highs I thought it would.
Link me to thatI'm starting a salt mine over on Spacebattles. It's glorious.
