DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (2024–2025) (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Honestly the argument with Skol and Hati was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. In the game they change the day and night of Vanaheim not any other realm. You can change the time to night in Vanaheim and literally every other realm remains unaffected. Hell some of the realms don't even have days and nights like Alfheim (even the plant life grows towards the light of Alfheim which is their only light source, rather than upwards where the sun would be) and Helheim.

The only way this would make sense with their "planet sized realms" is if the sun is choosing where to light things up and where not to light things up. So the sun will light up Midgard but not Alfheim which is just above Midgard on the Yggdrasil map but obviously this singular sun also lights up Jotunheim which is not only vertically farther from Midgard than Alfheim but also on the opposite side of the tree.....

My love of course
I respect your endless faith in Asura, and perhaps you'll be rewarded for your loyalty by seeing Asura win tomorrow.

Okay for real: I can't be the only one currently who's having a hard time deciding who to root for in this fight because they equally convincing arguments. Like on the one hand, Asura's power growth is nothing to scoff at and he could totally surpass Kratos' stats if they're relative to each other and Asura resists Kratos' heavy hitting hax. But on the other hand, Kratos starts off the fight way stronger than Asura and the guy's multiple methods of just instantly winning the fight either through his weapons or his abilities since they're clearly giving him Greek and Norse equipment together.

This is reaching Bowser vs Eggman levels of close and debatable nature of this match up is so exhilarating to me.

I can probably guess the winner going by how they scale the Yggdrasil Tree and how fast they make Asura tomorrow in the analysis sections.

Asta still rekts tho
Yeah, I'm just saying it went from country level vs multi continental, to like, multi continental vs moon level. That's closer, right?

Of course if that fight wasn't done 2 years ago, there could have been Mash vs Asta as the match. I will forever hold that fight as one of the best match ups.

That's true. Yggdrasil can either be a huge universal construct or a multi universal construct depending on where DB ends up scaling it (and no, I'm not going to acknowledge higher dimensional Yggdrasil because I know not everyone buys higher dimensional GOW).

I will say though: given they already said the Primordials punched the universe into existence and that Helios' light can encompass the entire Underworld, it's possible that they might for the high end scaling of Yggdrasil.

You know what else is massive?
YOU KNOW WHO ELSE CAN'T READ THIS WITH A NORMAL VOICE? : r/regularshow

You know what else is massive?
Low taper faade. 😏😫😫Dude you know what’s crazy?🤔🤔 Is that that low taper fade, like meme, dude it is still massive🥴. Yeah. MASSIVE.🗣️🗣️🗣️ I mean I’m seeing new ones 👀👀👀that I’ve never seen before that have millions of likes and views, 🤔🤔🤔still, that are popping up all over the place.😯😯😯

You know I might have eaten something bad, but I feel as if the soundtrack having Chicknamedd on it signifies that it's going to steer closer to Asura's Wrath ost. I say this because from what's already been heard from them on the Scooby vs Courage track, I can imagine her mimicking the sadder songs of AW than a track from GoW.

Definitely ate something bad.

Well I won't be watching it live because my ass will be taking a one hundred question long exam on introductory psychology tomorrow so wish me luck on that one, gents.

But don't worry: I'll be seeing who wins the fight after going to the latest page of tomorrow.
Ooh, maybe you'll be able to study our psyches whenever we see our favorite characters win or lose!

Jokes aside, good luck on the test! I know nothing about psychology, but I imagine there's a lot to it that makes it difficult to fully learn.
