Pondering, should indie DB try to now return to certain verses, that have only been used once or few times?

Couple years back there was glamour to introduce new verses, and last two years they've done pretty well. But evergreens and new verses left some verses stagnated, like Digimon SoL. Maybe now would be good time?

The big Digimon options atm are
Gogeta vs Omegamon
Yu Narukami vs Takumi Aiba
Mewtwo vs BlackWarGreymon
Lan & MegaMan.EXE vs Takato & Guilmon

Which would be most likely? I'm inclined to think Gogeta vs Omegamon or Mewtwo vs BlackWarGreymon because of the casual appeal their opponents bring (Mewtwo is, spitballing here, a top 10 character most requested for a runback).

Basically, his very first appearance originally as a side character to the comic that focused on Olive Oyl and her brothers - Castor and Ham Gravy. Appearantly, his ability to eat spinach as a power up isn't or should be allowed as it basically arrived when he became what we think of as Popeye - so his original powerup would be to rub the head of a sort of hen.

So Bluto for example hasn't entered the public domain yet since he first appeared in 1932 rather than 1929

It is prob a stomp since while Mita is physically stronger than Monika, she lacks the same level of meta power that Monika has and doesn't have any counters too it.

Although iirc the Mita who antagonizes you is basically not even tied to any game version if i got it right, basically she shouldnt exist and cant be rebooted unlike her other versions

  • Likely to Mind Manipulation, Empathic Manipulation and Memory Manipulation (As files also shape one's personality, mind and memories, Monika is likely resistant to alterations of those due to being unaffected from changes to the game's code)

Although regardless of being a stomp, the set up would be a cool one, lets say they do a collab crossover between the two and they end up fighting for the player attention and constantly 4th wall break along the way
