Tbh you're not alone

I think this is one of the best fights they've directed in quite a while. Next fight looks like a big snoozer meant to appeal to the younger crowd, ngl. Literally nobody talks about fallguys scaling

There's a big difference between Archie and Paper Mario, though. Paper Mario is considered canon to the series, having several references and all that jazz, while Archie Sonic is its own separate continuity disconnected from the Game Sonic continuity.

One of the black boxes at the start of Eggman's analysis even said that they weren't using alternate media like Archie Sonic.

Archie Sonic is a completely new continuity, while Paper Mario has arguments for being the same as normal Mario (I don't buy any of them, lol, although there's implications of the events of the first Paper games actually happening on the main timeline)
 
So returning back to Among Guys, is there actually feats above 9-C for the Fall Guys? I know they can get smacked by machines that produce more momentum than what you would see in something like Wipeout (the show), so I hope there's at least a small chance they could keep up physically.

Ah, thanks for correcting me.

You know in the far off future, assuming Death Battle is still relevant by then, I'd actually like to see DB use Archie Eggman to some capacity. And it's not because of the fact Archie Eggman is a stronger version of the character, but rather because I'd love to see how casual viewers react to how much of an absolute monster and psychopath Eggman in the comics is.

Could Bowser's heart be considered twisted or corrupted? Because he is someone who tries to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom, kidnap Princess Peach, and defeat the Mario Bros. But the spin offs and a notable amount of mainline games show that Bowser isn't quote unquote "evil" and he's not exactly known to be twisted or corrupted.

Going by the Japanese dialogue, Shadow states that Sonic is already much stronger than Metal Overlord during their fight stating that Metal Overload "doesn't come even close to Sonic's level" (The Japanese material seems to be much more into Sonic getting stronger over time, even some story summaries have lines about Sonic training off-screen and getting stronger before on-screen adventures).

He might not be a cruel tyrant, but he still is an imperialist so they can probably steal his treasure and go “stop trying to marry peach and invading the Mushroom Kingdom”.

Dose this mean SS before 06 wasn't universal?
 
technically Shadow saying Sonic is way above overlord could be referring to the super form, since super sonic couldn’t beat Overlord alone before.
 
So my thoughts on the next episode can best be described in four simple words: who asked for this?

Like I get that Among Us and Fall Guys is part of Zoomer/Gen Alpha culture, but I cannot fathom the mindset that DB had when they were presented the MU and they said to themselves: "Yeah, this could totally work as a Death Battle episode!" Add onto the fact next episode is coming after the sheer spectacle which is Eggman vs Bowser, I've never felt more deflated after receiving such a high in my life thus far.

I mean he could be referring to Super form, but isn't that basically arguing through semantics? Because you could argue that Shadow was referring to Base Sonic just as much as you want to argue he was referring to Super Sonic. I get what you mean, though, but I think it's looking too deep into intent.

There's a Japanese manga known as Mario-Kun which, to my knowledge, gets pretty crazy with gag abilities and feats in general. I don't know much about Mario-Kun since it hasn't been properly translated into English, but I've heard that it's pretty powerful.
