Overall, I enjoyed the episde a lot. Kinda regret we didn't get Dreamy Bowser vs Lightman or Time Eater, but overall the battle was pretty hype. Can't really speak much of the research, having little familiarity with Sonic beyond some Classic and Adventure era games and being a casual Mario enjoyer, but I did find those sections pretty intersting.
Also glad that Eggman despite the vicious KO, didn't get a gory or messy death, and was more cartoonish than anything and that at least Sage made it out. Also Metal Sonic MVP, he was trouncing most of Bowser's army.

Yup, they stopped doing that a long time ago. It was a bit of a surprise. It's also the first time they added alternate scenarios with fully animated clips, I think.
There's some pretty adorable fanart on some sties of the two playing together.

Should we expect those moving forward? On Twitter Moro implied that was his addition (the alternative scenarios), and not something DB required.

If it was a touch added by the animator then maybe not? Unless there's some really positive buzz around them that makes DB consider keeping them in later episodes, at least. I personally thought they were great.

Out of curiosity, has anyone been listening to Game Over on repeat since it dropped after the episode? It might be one of the best battle tracks to come out of Death Battle.
I think it might even surpass Princes of Pride as being my favorite track, period. I didn't think it was possible, but DB did it for me.

Gonna be honest, not hyped for the next fight. Never cared for Among Us and don't really care for Fall Guys. As for this fight, I think it was pretty good.

I think this is one of the best fights they've directed in quite a while. Next fight looks like a big snoozer meant to appeal to the younger crowd, ngl. Literally nobody talks about fallguys scaling

I'm pretty sure they scaled Dreamy Bowser to the Dream Depot, but you could be right. I guess based off what they actually said, Bowser was Universal while Joker is Multi Universal but you could say Bowser is stronger at his peak power

There's a big difference between Archie and Paper Mario, though. Paper Mario is considered canon to the series, having several references and all that jazz, while Archie Sonic is its own separate continuity disconnected from the Game Sonic continuity.
One of the black boxes at the start of Eggman's analysis even said that they weren't using alternate media like Archie Sonic.

Bowser is physically stronger, yes, but Joker resists nearly all of Bowser's hax, and the same cannot be said for the latter.

Archie Sonic is a completely new continuity, while Paper Mario has arguments for being the same as normal Mario (I don't buy any of them, lol, although there's implications of the events of the first Paper games actually happening on the main timeline)

Learned from MORØ Twitter Q&A that the animation was gonna be about a minute or two longer but had to be cut due to time constraints. The victims of this cut were the Koopalings and possibly the Time Eater. We could’ve had even MORE frosting on this delicious cake. Ahhhhh

So returning back to Among Guys, is there actually feats above 9-C for the Fall Guys? I know they can get smacked by machines that produce more momentum than what you would see in something like Wipeout (the show), so I hope there's at least a small chance they could keep up physically.
