On a more serious note, I adore this episode and the scene where all the social links are rooting for Joker was peak. Akechi threatening to kill him again being one of, if not the final and most potent voice is a cherry on top.

I was right about Death Battle's desire to expose overrated characters beating Swank btw.

Would like to point out, Giorno 100% had Swank guiding him in the fight. Joker used Alice's instant kill on a boss fight, unwatchable levels of PIS SMH.

Come on, isn't that a little too pessimistic? For all we know: Eggman vs Bowser may end up being way closer than what we believe currently and, for all we know, Eggman might end up taking a W.

Especially with changing metas and opinions on Sonic scaling on the internet. Of course I I don't doubt that there is a decent chance that Bowser will win, but I don't think the differences between him and Eggman will be as significant as they were a couple years ago.

In all fairness, Ultraguy isn't the only one on Death Battle's research team so his presence isn't an instant game over for the dear doctor.

Also I don't doubt that Bowser winning is a high possibility, as I said, but I also think that it'll be way closer than we're treating it.

Something I just realized, they didn't really bring up any of of Joker's status ailment abilities or his items. Maybe they didn't think it'd change anything about the fight overall, but this does kinda feel like Mitsuru/Weiss and Doctor/Rick where they gave enough to explain the win without it looking like too much of a mismatch.

Granted with that advantages/disadvantages screen...

Damn, the fight was sick. I was certain Joker was going to win, but my heart was beating fast watching it go down. Analysis was fun, fight itself was alright but a bit stiff and short, but Joker breaking out of RtZ/the death loop was sick to see and vindication for doing every SL.

8/10 fight.

I think it's funny how close they made the animation look, but the analysis makes it obvious how one-sided it is.
