Anima: Beyond Discussion Thread

He appeared in the same branch as LKS, so he end up losing. Such a shame, as he have two transformations, possible a weapon of Quality +25 and considering his story he is also a Tech.


Now you can vote for him, or instead follow AST and vote for his adoptive son Kariagne, he is an Arbiter and a Tech that uses artifacts.
 
The modified sheet of Ghost Angel (still spanish), that Carlos missed few details. Also, there were a Q&A about the sheet, so going to post a quick resume:

-The Angel originally had Nemesis, but since at the end Carlos decided to change it to an spiritual being, and a body is requiered to use Nemesis, it was ultimately removed from the original idea (although, it may have it).

-Is not a woman nor a man, although the idea of the adventure it that it makes the players believe it were Delacroix's wife.

-The Angel do not have the book, but is "physically" close to it, a few rooms from distance; it also possesses a piece of Black Metal, but not within the body.

-People with Blood of the Deads would feel nausea if the Angel is close.

-Summoning abilities doesn't work on it cuz: a) with physical form its an construct (naturally), and b) in its incorporeal form doens't exist.

-Can attack with the blades and defend with the spectral attacks with no issue.

-Can only use Divine Necromantic magic (if absorbs the 1000000 of souls), not even with grimories, but has access to free access spells.

-It has had four incarnations (being the Dumah the 4th one): Carlos didn't want to talk about the first one, 2nd one was destroyed by Unapistim, and the 3rd one was destroyed by Jūrgand's agents. 3rd one also used Nemesis and has relationships with Millenium.

-Its mundus operandi vary depending of the body, right now is pretty cautious.

-Can't trun much more powerful even with another body, at much it only increases one level and double the amount of souls per asault.

-Anyone capable to see spirits or with certain level of supernatural powers can notice when the Angel is absorbing souls, but overall pretty percibible.

-The incorporeal "form" of the Angel seem slike this (NOTE: not official picture).

-Angel's wings can only be destroyed while using Cocoon, otherwis ethey are indestructible.
 
3rd Round of the 3rd Week is up, now you can also choose to ban both LKS and The Dragon (the not chosen winners) from the campaign.

It seems that the iniciative ACT did work, we got two Arbiters in the final, although Aizen had the bad luck to face Gaul and Hringham. Vote Balthassar! and vote Hringham so Gaul doens't win.
 
And the winners of the 3rd Week are: Hringham, Malakias Graft and Balthassar yee!; and for the playoff, neither LKS nor The Dragon can be voted again, they are banned.

Also, the revised version of Ghost Angel (again), was missing the Gift and had a duplicated power. And all weeks vote count.

@Ed, by rules we need to ban at least one of the winners, this time we give the choise to ban both winners (the one that weren't chosen by Carlos). Why did we choose to ban both? Welp, LKS is a walking plot device, and even if he win, is highly possible that Carlos wouldn't chose him; as for The Dragon, welp, take into account most of the voters are people that actually plays the game, and The Dragon is not that useful, people rarely plays campaign with Lv +15 beings, and the Dragon has Gn 45 and most likely Lv +18, that's why people didn't want it and create stuff like pic related.

Plus, considering that these two "drive Carlos infinitely crazy", both discords (maybe three) decided to not vote for pretty strong/godlike characters (this week winners are between Lv 9, 10 and 15, and anything above Gn 35).
 
So, first comment after the forum move: Carlos finally showed up, didn't show up before due medical issues of his mother, but the situation get better and now he will continue with what he promised, starting tomorrow.
 
Happy New Year, role game enthusiasts! Carlos appeared last night, he (and As in general) are planning to release Song of the Abyss and Core 2.0 (~90% retro compatible with current Core) this year, and also plans too release a 100 pages free complement, divided in chapters, once or maybe twice a month (although I don't remember when he's supposed to start).

Oh, I'm not alone in this thread.

Yeah, that one twit take us for surprise: new game is coming this year, 2e for the next year, and at the end of this month we'll get free supplement about Dravenor and every month thereafter. Just let's hope that Carlos can keep his word and doesn't change the dates, but either way we win.

Btw, now we got Ethel's sheet, you may want to update her profile now.
 
Ok, something apparently happened and we wouldn't hear of AS in few months back to to oblivion again. In the mean time, you can have a raw translation of the ABF web supplement 2 and 3; the internation Discord also created a mega compilation where you may find info of interrest, including free official stuff and fan translations.
 
No problem.

AS last month's delay was due Carlos being diagnosed with throat cancer, so he needed some quick treatment. Fortunately, the condition was prevented, and he seems better now.

BTW, now you seems in wiki, Ed, could you link the ABF microsite in OP?
