    Hey, hey, would it be possible for you to look this calc? ... The first one, to be exact. It is simply a calc that calc a giant's size and GPE to get its AP - it (and the lesser calc) serves as the foundation for an entire verse, but I really just need somebody to see if I fudge smth up with the giant calc.

    Sorry to bother again, but someone in the comments had a problem with the pixel scaling so in the end I used another image that he posted to pixelscale, so if you could look again at the calc to see if the pixel scaling is fine? The math itself is the same as previously so that part should be good.

    Ah I'm not sure I understand what to do, do I just use something like this:

    Radius = 50 meters, with the height of 20-30 meters instead of taking the mountain's entire volume? Did you mean I should take like, 0.05% or 0.004% of the volume of the mountain and be done with it?

    Naw you'd use either 20m or 50m as the height, derive the radius from that (can be done using the pixel scaling on the mountain/island level requirements page) and use that to get volume.

    Could be another number too if calc group finds it suitable. People might wanna do it the other way and get a certain radius (maybe 100m), derive a height from that through the pixel-scaling, and get volume from that.

    As someone who once followed the Slender Mythos, I would say that the Marble Hornets, TribeTwelve/EverymanHYBRID, or most Slender-inspired ARGs in general aren't just fanfic.

    The original story of Slenderman was just a story written by Victor Surge and the SomethingAwful Paranormal Thread between 2009 and 2010. The Marble Hornets were the first series to conceptualize the idea of the Slenderman we all know today. They basically create their own version of Slenderman and expand it in their own way.

    Most of the following ARGs were actually inspired by Marble Hornets instead of the original story, and as their story goes on, they turn Slenderman into a rather different being to fit the plot.

    In TribeTwelve, it was a higher being that controlled the world through mortal puppets. In EverymanHYBRID, Slenderman only appeared for the first arcs, and his role became less relevant and the story eventually switched to something else. In DarkHarvest00, it was an eldritch creature worshiped by a cult.

    One thing to be noted is that most of these works above don't refer to the entity as Slenderman (except for EverymanHYBRID): The Administrator, The Operator, Gorr 'Rylaehotep, etc. It's a way that the producer is trying to make their character as distinct from Slenderman as possible.

    Now, the problem here is how the Slender Mythos page is indexed on the wiki. It's basically a composite page that covers every appearance of Slenderman ever, which is a fault because most of them aren't canon to each other or anything. I do remember that EverymanHYBRID and TribeTwelve once had a crossover, but none to other stories/games on the main page.

    I cannot say much about The Creepypasta Collection, but I don't think grouping it with any of the works above is fair because they are each their own story and should have their own separate page.

    I wanted to ask something, if an dimension stated to be a alternate dimension and is seprated by dimensional barrier and also mentioned as extradimensional and in that said franchise extradimension has been used for parallel universes or something outside of spacetime continuum as well. Does that said dimension qualify for being seprate spacetime continuum?

    Apologies for being a bit over argumentative here, but I recall we never have explicit proof nor implied proof of pocket dimensions to begin with irl.
    The only thing worth noting is that pocket dimensions did came from the fact we have theories and fiction series that show pocket dimensions.

    I didn't deeply read your post since it seems to go heavily into the mathematics in a way that I cannot understand. I only understand the basics of cardinals. But I do still have a response, but since I haven't properly read your thread, I'd only feel comfortable posting it here.

    Philosophically, there's many places we could place the borders for High 1-A and 0. And really, wherever we place them, that decision seems pretty arbitrary. There's a certain function we want the tiers 1-A, High 1-A, and 0 to have in how they operate; but the exact mathematical constructs they end up corresponding to depends on what we equalise layers of transcendence within them to, which seems wholly arbitrary. The only verses for which these arbitrary distinctions make a difference are verses which explicitly invoke cardinals in their cosmology. We could have 1-A+ start at R^R^R^omega instead of an omega-length chain of R^R^R...^R. And we could have High 1-A start at R^R^R^R, and 0 start at R^R^R^R^R, and the only verses that would be changed by our choice are these mathematically-invoking verses.

    Since it barely matters, and I can't understand it, I don't care what happens. Some people have suggested tier 0 being above ZFC, or having High 1-A involve adding new axioms, with 0 involving entirely new logical systems. I really don't care which suggestion ends up going through.

    Hi bro, I just want to ask about the speed of a character,
    Assume A is the FTE of some people's statement, then fight with B.
    B managed to avoid a hit from A which is described as very close, after being calcified using the Projectile dodging feats formula, B got Supersonic speed. After that the fight continued but was still balanced, even though A was initially only FTE still able to balance B who was Supersonic.
    Do you think it makes sense for B Supersonic? Or will A evolve into Supersonic too?

    It's a fairly standard forum. Different formatting than the wiki's old forum, but there's still likes and topics. A thread can have more topics, but topics aren't innately linked to pages on the wiki. There's some more moderation tools. There's no post limit for threads. There's signatures and shit like that. Those are the most major changes for the new forum.

    There's nothing resembling a chat. There's a wide variety of Discord servers people have made for real-time chats.

    • The "wider context" would be the author demonstrating knowledge on particular cardinals, and would cause scaling to those cardinals, if the series has a statement invoking "all cardinals". Not just general knowledge about set theory.
    • I'd still prefer no possibly/likely, but I realise that my case isn't super strong, so I'd understand and wouldn't be too upset if a possibly/likely was given.

    No worries, this is a purely friendly question about Tiering systems (specifically Alephs, Low-1A to 1A+) since you're an expert on these things and I wanted to clear my confusion.
    Wiki treats aleph numbers a lot smaller than they really are? Or did I simply miscalculate?

    But it's actually so much bigger than all of those, even just aleph-4
    Example: if we use "correct" definition for alephs and treat it being steps, most 1A+ or above baseline (as SMT cases) will lose their tier, get back to 1A baseline, just slightly higher than "lowest" baseline but all placed in one step (aleph-3 number of objects as points, planets,universes,..., aleph-2 dimensions), even old 3812
    Summary: countable or even uncountably infinite layers of difference between L1A (or 1A or higher if u win) and baseline 11-C doesn't make you higher aleph/tier at all, not even close it

    So what I think you're saying is that alephs aren't just steps or layers; they completely dwarf what was prior in an increasingly large way.

    My response to this is that most steps/layers of hierarchies in fiction can't really concretely be quantified, so we just equalise them to whatever. Even lower stuff, like the earlier parts of tier 1, can run into this issue, where some verses have the layers mean "10^90x physically bigger", some have it mean "infinitely bigger", some have it mean "sees as fiction", and some have "uncountably infinitely bigger", yet we equalise them all to "uncountably infinitely bigger".

    Or in short, that problem doesn't start with alephs.

    But more than that, if things did operate such that we treated alephs that realistically, any series that invokes even aleph-seven would dwarf every single verse that doesn't invoke such mathematics, which was an outcome people didn't want when they created the system this way.

    The justification that people have for treating 1-A stuff that way, is that each step in 1-A should dwarf the last step in 1-A, the same way that baseline 1-A dwarfs lower tiers, which would definitionally involve a 2^(last layer) sort of relationship, which does correspond to the alephs.

    Those are three reasons that the system is the way it currently is. I hope one of those satisfies you.
