Yo Maverick I was reading your blog on The Organization lasers and then re-read G4 vs Genos and I noticed this:

Look at the bottom right, G4 uses mini-glass wipers to clean his laser cannons. Doesn't this mean that this is another point in favor of the laser being actual light?
