Well physically I don't think he's too special, nor is he that fast, but i've had some cloud calcs done that reached Island level off-site via higher tier magic, as well as breaching into country level with the PDL and Ainz estimating some stuff as being strong enough to destroy countries. I also do think VBW treats Black Holes too harshly, so if you just do a standard Black Hole calc you can get him higher. Basically, I think anywhere in tier 6 is fine, just depends who you ask to calc stuff, and then higher with his absolute strongest spells.

Honestly a shame, if he was faster he'd be a threat in his tier

That is true... shame the FTL or lightning stuff is too random or flowery (?) to use.

Ainz just needs speed for his tier because he is a Haxlord with tons of good utility spells like Complete Invisibility, Perfect Unknowable etc.

I personally think the lightning stuff is fine as I don't think fiction really cares about "lol its not from the sky therefore not real lightning", the SOL stuff apparently is a mistranslaton (?) idk. And a general problem he has is that he's one of the very few isekaied op dudes where you would find it pretty hard to scale his magic to his general AP (Normally I see a lot of similar characters be able to harm those who can tank their magic with their striking strength, something I havent seen Ainz do, at least in the LN)

Funnily enough there is a side-story where he dodges real lasers, but then when multiple are shot at him he starts getting hit. I'm just not sure if said side story is canon or not, so maybe relatavistic could work if someone wants to find the canonicity of that and then calc it (calcing LN stuff is a pain)
