The Spoiler Tag (VSBW)
And please... the illustration just shows how to make a spoiler tag - useful for discussing spoilers before a Death Battle episode gets launched on YouTube.

This is certainly an interesting matchup. I had no idea there were connections between Cable and Booster and I'm not exactly familiar with both characters beyond the basics. I think Booster has this one in the bag but then again, I'm a DC guy. ;)

Why so actually? I'm curious
I don't know much Booster but I'm rooting for him because A) I'm a DC guy and B) his technology and weapons seem to be more advanced and sophisticated than anything Cable has at his disposal. That said, I'm not gonna dismiss Cable just yet.

Here's the Goro vs Machamp QnA since I caught it early this week:
Why didn't you mention that Machamp's belt hinders his power? Doesn't that mean you nerfed him?

It seems to apply to Machoke more than Machamp and in the manga it shows that Machamps don't need the belt. They couldn't find much evidence to show that Machamp needed the belt.

Did you cast someone to voice Machamp and say one word or are those voice clips?

They brought on Kestin Howard, who was their Captain Falcon. While they did consider doing voice clips, they got convinced by their sound studio to bring someone in.

Some of the audio seems different then normal in this episode. Did you record from home given the current situation?

The in-episode lines were already recorded, but the ads and sponsorships are recorded from home due to the timing of receiving ad reads.

You forgot that Machamp can throw people over the horizon. How would that change the fight?

Ben said it was difficult to quantify that distance and Chad said "who cares, he throws people into space." They acknowledge that they did know about it, but due to the other feats and the limited time they have for an episode, they cut it out.

Why did you take the Pokedex entries as fact, everyone knows those are nonsense claims made by ten-year olds. It says Magcargo is 18,000 F, but that's hotter than the sun.

They say there's a theory that the Pokedex entries are actually written by the 10 year old player, and since they're dumb and stupid, they don't know actual science. However, since most of the entries are consistent across games and the Professors already know everything about Pokemon, Ben doesn't believe that. The entries are usually supported by stuff in the anime, manga, and games, so they accept them (also, Magcargo being that hot wouldn't be a huge deal because of his mass and thermodynamics).

Why didn't you give Machamp Close Combat, it's his best move.

He can't naturally learn it, so they didn't give it to him since they tried to stick to a wild Machamp (*cough* Rock Smash *cough*).

Does the fact that Goro is half dragon mean that Machamp's move Dual Chop would be super effective against him?

A lot of people predicted this because of Pokemon logic, but Ben doesn't like to apply Pokemon types to non-Pokemon unless there is a clear logic to apply it with.

Who is responsible for Machamp dabbing?

Christina and David. Ben gave the okay for the shot, so he also had a hand in it.

Side note, Ben is super excited for Cable vs Booster Gold
We have seen Low 1-C Doctor Doom and Low 1-C Darkseid. Ben is sure amazed to find out how far Cable and Booster Gold can tap into. *wink*

Someone spoke of disrespect in the last thread which reminds me when Tifa was trending on twitter today that had her lose to yang on the show just to shill the latest volume of Rwby was biggest case of disrespect

At a first glance, Cable wins because he has haxes. But could someone give the detail of their ability?
Cable has hax and Booster Gold has hax, raw power and much faster speed.

AFAIK, Sentry has been pretty much accepted as 1 MegaFOE since his "million exploding suns" feat has been proven to be literal multiple times.

Does anyone have the link to the research blog? I want to see how seriously they're considering Waverider for BG. I still doubt it since there's a massive gap between the two and required a lot of prep work to achieve, but we'll see.

If they allow Waverider as a summon like Jason previously suggested, then they better allow Nate Grey or Cables from other timelines.

Last question, is BG's tech resistant to hacking? If not, Cable can shut down his suit and get him afterwards

Has Nate Grey been considered as "Cable" at any time slot and how strong is that Nate Grey? Since Rooster Teeth made it clear it is Cable vs Booster Gold this will allow Cable to summon multiple Cables and Booster Gold to do the same. This also means Booster Gold cannot summon anything stronger than Booster Gold if the summons are not, well, Booster Gold.

Except Booster Gold has a "summon" called Skeet, which can do hacking as well. Potency? (Booster Gold v2 #45) Hacked into the USA's Defense Tracking Department level. Not quite strong as a superhero I would say. Does that matter given the vast speed advantage of Booster Gold? Doubt.

Hey, guys. If Trunks were to be in Death Battle, who should his opponent be?
Silver and Crono are the most likely, now that Cable's out of the picture, but some people say they want Grovyle to fight him.

Silver is his most requested pick though they kinda did it in the DBX, Cable would've been another option but he's taken now

Would Noctis be a good opponent for Trunks?

Trunks is universal level while noctis is only multi continental level

Versus who tho.
Idk kakashi?
Obi-Wan Kenobi vs Kakashi Hatake has been a Community Death Battle before, Obi-Wan vs Kakashi has been requested as a Death Battle before, they have decent close connections, Rooster Teeth will be more than happy to launch a Star Wars-themed Death Battle at the Star Wars Day to boost click views and ad sponsorships.

Planet vs Mountain; FTL vs Sub-Relativistic; ... should be an easy high ground for Obi-Wan and will please the Star Wars fans.

Someone mentions PMD Grovyle... I heard PMD Grovyle vs Lucina for a while but Lucina will likely be fighting Kitana.

I don't like Obi-Wan's chances if Death Battle sticks only to canon material. The only way I see Obi-Wan taking the win is if DB accepts material from Legends.

@Jason

Nate is genetically identical to Cable since they are technically the same person, just from different timelines. Without the Life Seed, which makes him universal, Nate "was stated to be as powerful as Cable without his Techno-Organic Virus," so equal to full-potential Cable. In one possible future, the two clashed and destroyed Earth.

Also, I still doubt Waverider will be specifically used. Here's why:

1. BG WR is his New-Earth version, not Prime-Earth (If "New-Earth" is in-universe talk for Post-Crisis, ignore this one).

2. The power gap between the two is too big. BG throws around street-level baddies, WR manages entire timelines.

3. The circumstances of his creation are suspect, as shown here from a quote on the DC Wiki:

"This section of the history takes place during Convergence, a massive crossover event revisiting characters from past eras and realities. The villains Brainiac and Telos plucked them from their own timeline and stored them together, causing them to cross over into each others' reality. Its precise chronological placement and canonicity may be unclear."
