Mob would passively draw energy from her as well as absorb telekinetic attacks. Both have similar applications with TK although them being espers of a similar level would probably just mean they can break out of each other's holds (Heck they have equal lifting strength).

Tornado's manipulation of his Chi/Psychic Aura probably wouldn't work as Chi is just another form of Psychic Energy in Mob Psycho, to which Mob has actually withstood someone pumping/messing with his chi to do internal damage even in his base form. That and any sort of psychic invasion/manipulation of his body would be noped by passive and active forcefields he has.

Sleephax doesn't work for obvious reasons.

Tornado's resistance helps here, although I'm not sure to what degree, and considering Shigeo's energy absorption she'd be fighting an uphill battle and would likely be overwhelmed.

IMO Mob takes this through absorbing/reflecting Tatsu's attacks, having ways to deal with her potent abilities, and generally being more ruthless.
 
Imma go for Shigeo via Mob Psycho is better.

Tats has psychic binding, which is pretty much power nullification for espers. She also has psychic whirlwind which redirects psychic attacks. I'm thinking that they both counter each other quite well, so I'm going inconclusive.

How exactly does it work, and would it get past the layers of forcefields Mob has/not be absorbed since it's an psychic energy attack?

Technically the title is an Ace Combat reference.
 
Tatsumaki has her own passive/always active barriers and Fubuki, a far less experienced Esper, was able to use psychic binding on her.

Forgot exactly how it works, webcomic quality doesn't help, but it's pretty quick to activate

Yeah, but what's stopping the attack from being absorbed by Mob and reflected back at Tatsu before it starts affecting him?
 
I don't think it uses psychic energy, since even Fubuki group members were able to use a weaker version of it.
 
I don't know about all of Mob's tricks so I'll refrain from voting, but keep in mind that Tatsumaki has an ability that allows her to deflect far superior psychic attacks than her own.

This is the same technique Fubuki used to fight against Psykos and against a psychic with equal power, this would no doubt be a valuable defensive tool.

Not saying it will give her the win, just think this should be taken into account.
 
Yeah, even Tatsumaki was impressed when Fubuki used it against her. Of course, Tatsumaki broke out of it and has a far stronger variant, but still

Mob's absorption isn't limited to psychic energy in ??? though. He absorbs energy from practically everything around him.

It's usually extremely fast but we never see it used on a character of comparable power since ???% Mob is kind of the god tier of his own verse.
 
I always thought ???%Mob would stomp her,but there are issues.

Dragoo stated some good reasons for him,but what about stamina?She has a big advantage,high vs superhuman.

I mean even then Mob walked around for a decently long amount of time in ???% mode (A while before it ended most everyone already evacuated out, which could have taken hours) in spice city and only stopped it by internally accepting his other half.

Base Mob and 100% Mob have interchangeably fought for around a day.
