This might be the wrong thread to ask this but are there any good fanfiction about Toy Story?
I got an idea when I was drinking a few days back about writing one lmao
 
Lol, I don't remember the name, but I did read this toy story Esque Lego fan fiction and it was pretty good.

Like it wasn't the typical weird shipping fluff that other fanfics had.

This one felt like telling a genuine story about a group of legos wanting to survive and so they used their creativity with Lego to find their way out
 
I was thinking again about a Wattpad Composite character...and it’s a pretty big mess of a character there.

Saiyan, Sparda, Devil (DxD?), Hunter and Grimm (RWBY), Servant (Fate), Hadou/Gudou God (even though those “Shinza fanfics” are just bonkers), Kamen Rider, Herrscher (Honkai)...and some other stucf that’s eluding me here.

I don’t care much for whatever powers they’d have, but my god the amount of stuff you’d have to list to describe such a monstrousity lol
 
I seen a fanfic somewhere on fanfiction.net where Rainbow Dash has...sexual encounter with Sonic and thats not all as Knuckles gets with Applejack, Tails gets with Twilight Princess, Silver gets with Pinkie Pie and finally Shadow gets with Fluttershy. For Rarity I saw she was double teamed by Jet and Storm. Then in other chapters other Sonic characters have sex with the Mane Six or Luna and Celestia.

I closed the fic when I realised most of those chapters were just sexual smut of Sonic characters uh...having sex with the MLP cast in very heavy and aggressive manner.

I need a shower...
 
Actually I did saw this fanfic before. Never read it obviously because I don’t like how they use Shinza for their stuff, but I definitely don’t recall that summary being there before.

It was just cringy at first but not as bad as it is now, which is just ridiculous and stupid to do an abused character type trope.

And this isn’t getting into the various problems of how people handle Shinza into their fanfics either...
 
But whatever. Short version is fanfics like this, the Rwby fanfics that use this trope, Highschool DxD, and just about any fanfic that uses elements of Dragon Ball or DMC I just can’t take seriously with.

I’ll just leave it at this lest I make comments bashing these guys...

It's easier to sympathise with a character that's gone through struggle and suffering and I guess that's what they were going for.

Problem is that the suffering offers no lasting impact on the character, their personality or abilities, so it feels very lackluster and empty most of the time in these stories.

The other issue is that many of these authors can't simply fathom that there are other, more logically consistent ways in which a character can be aggrieved that fit with the context of their story and character arc beyond child abuse.

Another one is that the suffering is just an excuse to have the character slap his family on the face with how strong, wealthy etc. he's become. Honestly, these sorts of stories feel like self insert one's for people with troubled home lives to me.
 
Honestly when I was young I was planned a plot similar to this whole concept but when I did I made the main character suffer from severe depression and anger to where he ignores everyone and avoids people even his abusers. He often saves people and vanishes and avoids romance every time and most of the time suffer from random bouts of depression and anger though somewhere at the middle of the fic he began letting people break his cold shell and developed into a nicer person. But sadly like my friends and other people who thought of the idea was stupid and well let’s just say they made me guilty of even creating this fic idea.

Honestly I am annoyed on how cliche these abused main characters get since they never factor how traumatic these events are. Also they do it to gain harems and act like jackasses so they could lord their new powers over people like you see in Naruto, Harry Potter and RWBY half of the time.
 
I'm fine with a protagonist who lashes out at the world because of his suffering. Su Ming goes through continuous suffering, manipulation and pain over the course of his story and it gradually turns him from an optimistic and somewhat merciful youth into a cruel and temperamental being that's completely unapologetic about being evil so long as his loved ones are safe. He's one of my favorite characters even.

What most authors forget is how this suffering and abuse should actually be something beyond an excuse for the main character to get back at his family.

Yup hence why only a VERY few harem anime I like since the ones I like did stuff differently and actually developed the characters. Like High School DxD since at first I thought it was a typical boring harem anime but honestly the anime really did well with the characters.
 
I remember reading a PJO fanfic where Percy becomes a guardian of the Hunt, and it starts out with the entirety of the Hunt and Artemis being raped by Orion. It was quite graphic and I felt very uncomfortable reading it.
 
You know, i have two type of waifus...
Type 1: The waifus i genuinely love, and would date and marry actually with other wholesome things. So it has ereshkigal from FGO and charis from kamihime project.
Type 2: The waifus only for lust and fanservice, whom i am only physically attracted. Or characters i don't actually love, but just they are hot. Has some kamihime project girls and senran kagura girls.
so if i ever make a self insert fanfic, it will only have two girls from type 1.
