Star Wars Discussion Thread Canon/Legends- Episode V Attack of the Fanons

Not really doing anything on it, tbh. I've been working on other stuff, and have lost interest in all honesty. There's other people working on it, but I think they're in the same boat.

Btw, if anyone wants to join the discussion, they can just ask me.
Ah I see. So where would the Legacy era Jedi be rated then?
That's still being semi-decided. Maybe in the Large Country level to Multi-Continent level range.

I'm also planning to separate TV/Film and EU canon.

That's interesting. Thank you for the info.

I would like to join the discussion, though I don't think that I could add anything to it. I'm still reading through the EU novels.

question which of you guys is most knowledgeable on emperor palpatine cause i might use him in a matchup?
Depends on who you are debating against. Due to the mass release of anti-Sheev sources and cases, Palpatine's situation is very unstable now if you face someone who has those sources and low showings.

They can argue Exiles ~ Muur > RotS Palpatine.

Much of DE Sheev's knowledge comes from surface level teachings of Baas' holocron, Luke accesses the deepest parts of the holocron yet his knowledge is inferior to that of a PT padawan per Vergere and J. Anderson.

Korriban zombies beat Sheev up half to death and he has to be saved by his apprentice Droga.

Just before ESB, Palpatine is abducted and would've been killed by Zaarin if Tremayne didn't show up.

Etc.

Regarding his profile on the wiki, I don't think I am to be honest. The guy responsible for creating the fuckfest known as Palpatine's scaling was a white caucasian Brazilian male who has left (to my knowledge) debating for a long time now, although I do suspect he lurks in our Discord, waiting to unleash unbridled autism against unsuspecting victims.

A mod would be more helpful in that case.

Palpatine should scale above previous Sith in raw power, but, for reasons I'm unsure of, he's scaled to characters and objects that aren't really even Force-Users or Dark Siders.

Also, his star feat makes no sense. But that's for another time.

WELL SHIT

Thoughts on Boba Fett again by the way? I found this episode a lot more enjoyable than the first one which was just setting things up, the flashback sequence with the Raiders was really fun. But this show just seems to lack some it-factor to me that the Mandalorian had. It's going to be halfway through next week so they better have a big reveal or something to get hyped up for ready.

imo so far the shows been fine but kinda underwhelming, I hope it gets more engaging with the next episode cause based off the past two for me it feels like it's going no where

The best thing about The Book of Boba Fett is the modest lore additions but it isn't standing on its own. The third episode ramped up the build up which the first two episodes lacked (a partner and a couple of henchmen isn't enough to have any sort of exciting war), though I guess the stage is set for a potentially exciting reveal though not holding my breath as I'd say they'll properly have a revenge plot tied to his flashbacks with the Tusken Raiders, but IDK maybe the Shadow Collective formed by Maul is still around.
The cyberpunk biker gang doesn't fit a non-urban atmosphere even if they are stealing water (would be 100% down with it if it is a Spy Kids crossover) and the chase sequence would've benefitted from being faster, Boba is too passive and looks underprepared and reliant on luck/plot armor, he is much less willing to get his hands dirty (why would he wear a bathrobe instead of grabbing armor and weapons while Black Krrsantan was being apprehended?) and is implied to have some unexplained injury since he is constantly in a Bacta tank.

Reminder that Mythosaurs (creature ten times bigger than Rancors) from the Holiday Special are canon:

There is an alleged leaker trailer for an unannounced Star Wars movie. Up to you to decide if it is real or someone is playing around with Unreal Engine, but it is looking very fake for multiple reasons to me:

Book of Boba Fett Episode 4 spoilers

Anyone confused why Boba went looking for his armour in the Sarlaac? 1. Didn't he literally fly out of it with it and 2. Didn't he see Mando with it in Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 1??

edit: nvm, fudged up my timeline for the second point, first point still stands tho, I guess we can brush it off as dehydration or something

It appears that Boba had amnesia about the details of his escape from the Sarlaac, and assumed that his armor is still inside for some reason.

Boba no longer needs the Bacta tank to heal, and it appears that the flashbacks caught up, so it is all main plot now.

Wouldn't be surprised if Boba decides that his ship deserves a new name so that the final nail can be put in the coffin.
Firespray is the name of the ship model so Boba's ship technically hasn't been renamed, but don't count on "Slave I" being mentioned in the show, and perhaps not in toy merchandise.

Potential leak stuff: The Mandalorian's theme played at the end when talking about recruiting help, and Din was rumored to appear in the show early on like Black Krrsantan and multiple reporters/insiders/leakers say they heard the same; apparently Din will be using an N1 Starfighter.

Pablo deleted a tweet where he mentions that Bad Robot (J.J. Abrams' production company) wanted the First Order to blow up Coruscant but Lucasfilms refused, so as a compromise they made the capital of the extremely incompetent New Republic switch to that knock-off capital planet:

They probably deliberately had Boba say the Firespray thing in a.context that makes it somewhat reasonable to test the waters

Even if Boba had amnesia it would also be kinda stupid to assume he flew out of the Sarlaac without his suit on tbh. But whatever we'll roll with it.

It seems like Boba's gonna find some gang together to fight the syndicate. A little bit too similar to Mandalorian Season 2 imo, but I guess it'll still be good.

i feel like we should add in durge's profile: "Regeneration makes him hard to kill"

considering you need a ******* nuke to destroy him (basically you have to destroy every single cell of him to permanently put him down)

Have been planning some bounty hunter/street tier revisions for a while, though I'm mainly focused on physicals.

okay though you think that durge should have in his durability (regeneration makes him hard to kill)

considering he got blown from the inside out by kenobi and he didn't die

Also spinosaurus do you think that durge has low-High regeneration (can he regenerate from a puddle of blood)

would it be overtime? (didn't kenobi blow him up into puddles of blood and it took him a while to regenerate from that)

Regeneration (High) would be appropriate for that then.

Ah so Low-High

although i should let you know.

remember the cartoon where obi-wan blasted durge from the inside out. (i think it took quite a while for him to regenerate back to full)

it's in the durge video i just showed but here's a better video

skip to 8:02

and decide if that's high-Mid or Low-High. (i still saw a few organs maybe i'm wrong, let's see what the staff members think)

also the durge video from loremaster said durge became active again in the clone wars a few months after obi-wan blew him up.

so i think it took quite a while. (if it is low-high it should be low-high overtime)

He seems to be turned into a few pools of blood and small body tissue. This seems to be High-Mid;

High-Mid: The ability to regenerate from being blown/cut to pieces, brain included, or from a small piece of the user's body, such as a finger, or the heart.

Doesn't Durge have better regen feats in other sources?

hey abu

loremaster (though i'm not sure if this wiki will allow stuff said by him) in the durge video said

that you in order to kill a gen'dai (durges species) you need to have their body/all of their matter vaporized at an atomic level.

what sort of healing factor does that mean for durge if you need to vaporize him at the atomic level. (again i don't think using loremaster would be good for this wiki though let's see what the staff think)

Oh if it is at the atomic level, than that implies High Regeneration.
