Spider-Man: No Way Home Discussion Thread - WITH SPOILERS

Otto could likely get a new key. TBH he was portrayed as casually superior to base Raimi Spidey and TASM Spidey in this one, which is a far cry from his SM2 appearance. He even restrained them at the same time while applying the device to depower Electro

Even with a key, the scaling would come back to Integrated Suit Tom scaling to his Iron Spider self while the root of the scaling comes from Iron Spider.

Even if Otto is above them, they'd scale anyway. It isn't like he is curb stomping or one shotting them. Also, we cant ignore Spiderman 2 even if Otto is portrayed as above them.

Guess this could always factor into a 8-C rework, since I've seen some complaints about Iron Man 100% scaling to his arc reactors output.

8-C is pretty safe due to this movie, Raimi trilogy has 8-C feats (even High 8-C shit, at least two feats from Goblin, nobody scales though unless he used them in this movie on someone?). And Tom Spidey tanking a pumpkin bomb is like a free 8-C card. If Iron falls through Raimi shit (and venom in 3 years) probably save the day.

I just see a lot more evidence supporting the Integrated Suit being more along the lines of a new base suit that has a few aesthetic related aspects from the Iron Spider, but don't really scale to it

8-C among the Spider-Men would be more consistent anyways

Nah, he didn't. High 8-C and beyond in NWH is reserved for the "powerhouses" I suppose
Talking about his missiles fyi, they have a nice High 8-C feat in Raimi 1 iirc, when he creates a huge **** off explosion next to the bridge (Also flamethrower but heat feats are ******* weird).

If he doesn't use them on anyone though then that's unfortunate.

It does not make any sense, but the feats still exist if he was hit by Otto using Integrared Suit or if he scales to other Spideys, wich he pretty much does.
He was hit by Otto once in the Integrated Suit, but I really don't feel like that's enough? Him and the Spideys scale to each other, but they're far more consistently 8-C in this movie than they are High 8-C, especially considering they're helpless when Ock comes in (without even trying to seriously kill them)

Electricity can conduct near lightspeed, that is true, such as insulated copper wiring, where it can get up to 98% lightspeed, but only under very specific circumstances and materials.

I've ****** with RHCP enough at this point to know that. I'm pretty sure in this instance, that ain't gonna cut it and doesn't meet the hyper specific conditions for it to edge lightspeed. (It would be faster than base tho).

The low end idk didn't look 🤷‍♂️

I wasn't suggesting a 8-C downgrade, but a rework of how the scaling works.

Also we're not making anyone Relativistic or MFTL. Spider-Man got absolutely demolished by Electro in TAS2 due to the speed difference.

Another cool Spider-Sense feat. When returning to where the villains are awaiting their cure, Peter detects there's danger and is able to single out it to be Norman with the Goblin persona having returned. Norman claims "That's some neat trick...that sense of yours" and the way the scene is filmed already makes it pretty clear it's something he detects

Actually that's when the anti-feat happens. People move forward and visually react to the lightning slowly moving around the railing until it completes the circuit.
I calc'd another instance where Peter dodges a lightning bolt from Electro right after the "saving the people from Electro on stairs" thing happens, that one nailed me MHS.

Obviously we wouldn't. He should only be MHS+ in combat speed, reactions and short-burst speed for being able to move faster than Electro's lightning, as travel-speed wise Electro whacked him.

Also shouldn't Electro be MHS+ through and through? Given that he can literally transform into lightning?
