It would just be At least 8-A Since 8-A is a simi large category At least big enough to allow for one shots And Dust is like very low 8-A IIRC (Weiss creating a lot of ice was ~110 tons of tnt and the nevermore I think was 140 and one shot territory is usually anywhere from 3 to 5 times but that's not universal and would be Calc stacking I do believe)

Though I do wonder if anybody calculated that miniature storm glyinda Goodwich created in the first volume
 
It's not calc stacking, if dust can hurt 8A characters it's 8A. And just because the strongest grim has that feat doesn't mean it's that level, it just means that it's at least that level. Obviously the Dragon grim would scale to this. Just like how all the adults are way stronger than the students, but they are still 8A because they dont have a feat.
 
You are using Calculation results From one Calc (the Calc that put most characters aside from fodder at 8-A) to get the results of another

Yes That is Calc stacking
 
But there is only 1 calc, dust is 8A. There is no calc there because it has to be 8A to hurt an 8A character. The only calc comes from the amount of dust that the queen lancer tanked. Using that same exact logic, then if there was a new character that showed up and they said they were 2 times stronger than Ruby, then that would be calc stacking to put them at 2 times Ruby's AP because we calced ruby as 8A.
 
you do realize that the 8-A characters come from a Calc correct So yes it's still Calc stacking

Hurting a 8-A character Means you scale To the calculation that makes them 8-A

I don't think Black Sun has been teased at all just like mostly everything else. Only Arkos and Renora so far have be really been teased.

Black Sun or Bumblebee I don't care as long as it's something real like Arkos, so far I don't think either characters have shown any interest besides a few song lyrics in the soundtrack which mean nothing.

The closest Black Sun moment was when a OC moment of Blake blushing at Sun in Volume 3 which came out of nowhere, made me fear they were going to just add on a romance for no reason.

Luckly Volume 4 made my worries disappear since now Sun has a lot more screen time.

I mean not only does it have the song not gonna fall in love with you (even if songs in rwby arnt representative) it also has the blatent onscreen flirting sun does towards Blake And only blake
 
Brrr, no fighting yet

We haven't been getting many intense fights rn, only with Weiss and a somehwat boring fight with those bandits If the intro promises anything though, it should be fun
 
I for one definitely believe that Weiss' summon needs to have a higher AP than at the very least team RWBY, JNPR, and other students. It took out a paladin in one shot and that queen lancer did in fact tank an attack that would have killed the other characters but was still killed by the summon.

I will say that Weiss was able to fight and defeat the knight in the white trailer, but she only blocked once with a dust shield (um best description I could come up with) and got punched by it once which lead to her bleeding (breaking her aura assumingly). That kinda proves it's strength.

(In other news I saw chapter 5 today, Adam is a complete and utter psycho)
 
yeah I read what you wrote. However it is undeniable that an attack like that should have killed others of that durability (even Weiss was shocked about how little damage it did).

If anything the Queen Lancer's durability is higher than the paladin's since it took multiple slashes to kill it.
 
Srsly though, we better get an actual fight soon, Yang vs Merc rematch, Nora + Ren vs Hazel, Adam vs Sun + Blake maybe, Raven Vernal vs Cinder?

I mean, the Volume openings have lied on fight scenes before.

Remember when Volume 3 had Weiss vs. Emerald? The two I don't think have even met each other.
 
Yeah, but that was only so that Weiss could fight someone tbh, they were still all undercover during that time. They wouldnt hype up Yang vs Mercury again if he wasnt appearing at least in the volume, Cinder is off with Mercury and Emerald to go visit Raven, where Yang and Weiss were, and theyre probably going back seeing as Qrow needs the spring maiden anyway
 
I still disagree on that being mcb, if dust HAS to be base mcb since it can hurt mcb characters, that much dust easily pushes it past mcb using the lowest possible value for mcb.
 
And I've already said That's Calc stacking Pretty much anybody else will agree with me But if you don't believe me make a Calc and put it on the calculation evaluation thread

Yeah, that was a let down, but i think it was just symbolistic of Blakes internal struggles with Adam and whatnot.

We still better get those fights tho.

It's just a joke XD. Actually I think she is average, not doing something very useful, and not doing something very useless.
 
I guess, mostly I think that story wise we're all more interested in Salem than the White Fang. Although this new Yuma guy looks pretty cool....

This isn't going to end well for Raven at all.

Ghira and Sun vs Corsac and Fennec... hell yeah.

Really hope Kali is alright.
