They have always obviously been that strong. We just didn't have proper feats to use. Back in ******* arc 4 Garfiel had a statement about being able to shatter a mountainside and the wagpig one about disintegrating a boulder with just its yell. Don't even get me started on how obviously downplayed the Flugel tree's size is because of how inconsistently it is portrayed.

Reinhard is destroying moons now, fought with Volcanica and almost decapitated him, Subaru finally has sex with EMT, Hoshin reveal, Aldebaran is actually a matrix character, Observers are tier 1, The mid tiers are stronger than the old Reinhard calc, Rein(makes me)hard has "alone time" with Felt 😏

Reactive Power Level (After a certain amounts of deaths, Subaru grows slightly stronger in order to overcome what killed him. An example in Arc 1, where he was able to keep up and parry the attacks of an extremely casual Elsa after dying to her 3 times. Another example is him growing stronger in Arc 2 to the point of harming the Wolgram King, despite being killed twice by said creature, as well as being able to hit the horn of rem so hard to snap her out of her bloodlusted state, despite being killed twice by said person. Another example is in Arc 3, where Subaru was able to send Petelgeuse staggering with a single punch, despite being harmed by him twice in his failed loops. Another example is in Arc 4, where he was able to compete against garfiel, who used him as a ragdoll in the past failed loops of said Arc, as well as kick a few of the great Rabbit so hard to the point that said Mabeast exploded, despite being killed twice by said Mabeast in the most possible brutal way. Another example is in Arc 5, where after being killed by Sirius 3 times, he was able to contend against Capella and even harmed her. Another example in Arc 6, where Subaru was able to contend against lye Batenkaitos after being killed several times by him, as well as becoming fast enough to the point of being able to dodge the light beams fired by Shaula)

About Reinhard changing night and day feat
Can't we just take it literally like how the Novel described it?

the author even bothered himself and added "nighttime sky" in the light novel which didn't exist in the web novel, just to make sure that people would take the general picture

Reinhard does not have any reality warping or time manipulation to explain what he did so it's a simple destruction and recreation, which only give us two options to take as a low end

Option 1: Reinhard destroyed the planet and recreated it upside down to face the sun which is unlikely do to this reasons
  • it does not sound like what the author was implying
  • if he flipped the world on itself then Reinhard would be on the back of the world
  • if he flipped the world on himself then that would change the position of the world with the moon which is an unnecessary action, and he would need to do a backflip to land he's feets
Option 2: Reinhard destruction have at least reached the Sun, which does make sense, we can use the distance between the earth surface and the other side of the sun as a radius for the calculations

If he did get this it wouldn’t be very strong honestly he’s still pretty weak all things considered.

Or maybe he pushed the clouds out the way.
 
i think a simpler explanation for it suddenly becoming daytime is that Reinhard Just Did That 'Cuz He's That Guy rather than him destroying the sun or whatever
 
It's Strange, but we really can't call it anything like reconstructing the sun, big claims need big evidence and we just don't have enough.

We'll probably get feats & explanations in the final arcs when god tiers limits are explored. If I had to index it right now, I'd probably file it under reality warping.
 
the novel only described it as destruction and recreation, there is no reality warping like Pandora's authority, and if Reinhard have it, then he would have just brought Subaru and Emilia back

in situations like this, the less contrived answer is usually the more correct one - the core of occam's razor, i believe.

you're suggesting "uh actually reinhard's world-splitting slash deleted the sun and recreated it in a different place so that when he restored the world its rays shone through the hole in the clouds"
vs
"in restoring the world, it became daytime. either as part of the restoration or just vague, minor reality warping."
 
It's just restoration. He restored the environment to a prior state.

Just has like interplanetary range or something/
