I'd say that pulverization is probably the best method. The ground visibly shattered, it seems like there may be dust clouds rising from it at first which fits with pulverization, and there's no statement or additional evidence of vaporization.

Double checked. The initial shockwave does seem to send rocks flying before fully taking out that chunk of land. It does look like pulverization.

Interestingly enough- the official translation makes Big Mom's words about Roger seem like something she said directly to him or during his execution. Doesn't sound like she's blaming him as much as it sounds like those words were said in the past, before she starts talking about the country directly.

It just clicked that the Onigashima skull might be Joyboy's-
If he was Zunesha's friend, then either he rode on Zunesha or was the same as Luffy/Chopper in a way. Which means Joyboy may be a giant-- and if the skull is as big as it looks, then its body would probably be as big if not bigger than Zunesha in height. Goes hand in hand with Big Mom saying that one of the pieces to the answers may be on wano- it'd be hilarious if that piece was the very island she and Kaido were on. With giants that big, being 'continent pullers' wouldn't be far fetched anymore either.

That is still the most viable option, yes. The evidence for Vaporization is very scarce, and might be debunked, or proven correct in about a year or so.

The hole's depth being shown definitely added to it. Though it is still unclear since the panel cuts off before showing the bottom- Hopefully the anime does clarify a bit on its full depth unlike a cropped panel.
