I'd think blue words among black words would be enough.
Idk, if you can, you should, no reason not to, we've had whole threads on this, it's why people are allowed to bullet point that section as well as an alternative method. Some people have trouble, whether it be just annoying, actual issues like dyslexia, and so on. We should make an effort to make it less difficult wherever possible.
Also, it isn't going to JUST be that, you're in need of some scans.
K.
Mastery in almost every weapon such as short swords, longswords, flails, and spears),
Just make it "Weapon Mastery", and then list what types. Saying "almost every weapon" is a bit of an exaggeration, given Link doesn't even cover 1% of all weapons or even weapon types.
Something like
'Weapon Mastery (Proficient/skilled with numerous weapon types such as swords, flails, spears, and more)."
Bold the "Type 4", also while iirc that IS legit, that scan alone isn't good enough evidence, his actually reviving is kind of an important thing to show.
Also might be Type 8 too if it's dependent on the fates.
Acrobatics via Rito’s Feather
A gif or clip would be nice but ok, like "
Acrobatics via Rito’s Feather (Shown here)".
Self-Sustenance (Type 3) via the Snorkel
Uh, why? No scan, no showing what it even does, and I think you meant Type 1 not 3?
But it'd actually be this
Non-Standard Breathing is the ability to breathe in environments that baseline human beings would find hazardous to breathe in. This may be accomplished through the usage of gills or other physiological traits, equipment, creating air pockets, or otherwise finding methods to breathe in hazardous...
vsbattles.fandom.com
Type 3
Attack Reflection via Mirror Shield
This aight but a clip again.
Statistics Amplification via Scroll of Enchant Weapon, Scroll of Enchant Armor, Boots of Power, the Greaves, and War Drums,
Just make an imgur album and shove examples in there.
Fire Manipulation via torches, Fire Arrows and Fire Rod,
I mean this is straightforward, but for the rod and arrows, showing them in action would be optimal.
Ice Manipulation via Ice Arrows, Ice Rod, and Scroll of Freezing,
As above.
Electricity Manipulation via Electric Arrows and Scroll of Electricity,
As above.
Poison Manipulation (via Poison Arrows and Impa’s Naginata, can imbue his weapons with the ability to inflict poison damage),
As above, doubly so because how deadly and fast-acting the poison is should be shown.
Though clips of the elemental stuff and showing could instead be moved down to the weapons and technique section, probably be optimal tbh.
Status Effect Inducement (Can stun opponents with the Magic Boomerang),
Very good, short and concise explanation, link a clip tho.
Invisibility via Magic Cape
Self-evident, but still, scan, probably in the technique section. Intangibility as well.
Self-
Healing via Potions and Impa's Naginata,
Scans, notably for the second one, show it in action and write a small explanation.
Like
"Impa's Naginata (Heals 1/2 Hearts for every 5 enemies slain)" or something.
Creation and
Life Manipulation (The Scroll of Need can create the thing the user needs most at the time, including living beings like fairies to restore his health),
Does it say create? If so link a scan of that to the "create the thing" text.
I mean I know why, but that isn't self-evident, scan.
Mind Manipulation via Scroll of Confusion,
this DEFINITELY needs a scan, mind manipulation is a very nuanced ability, how and why matters.
Given he description just say (Confuses enemies, inversing their movement).
Teleportation (to Sheikah Stones),
"Teleportation with Lute (Can warp to activated Sheikah Stones)", or whatever, showing how he does so is important. Especially if he needs to play a song, that's a detriment which should be conveyed.
can instantly wake a person from
Sleep Manipulation via the Hibiscus Potion,
Aight but scan still.
Resistance to
Air Manipulation,
Sound Manipulation, and
Magic via the Tower Shield onwards and via Caladbolg,
Why? To what degree? Ya gotta show it bro...
Immune to
Heat and
Magma Manipulation via the Goron Amulet,
Change to resistance, we don't do "immune to" anymore unless it's like a robot lacking a soul, this would imply Link could shrug off 1,000,000,000,000c+ heat or any other dumb as shit value, also scan.
Likely Immune to
Sleep Manipulation via the Hibiscus Potion,
Not immunity, just res. But if what the description for this item below says is true, it wouldn't need a likely, it'd be flatout.
Immune to
Poison Manipulation via Hero's Medallion,
No. Resistance, also explain and show why.
his best weapons are Immune to
Power Modification (Link's best weapons cannot be infused with new powers or have the powers they have changed)
Explanation is good, just need a scan, also again would be resistance, not immunity.
At least
Small Building Level (Most of his weapons are physically stronger than Cadence's shovel, which
can oneshot mimics copying giant cubes of gold brick in her previous game,
Is the previous game actually canon? If so that's fine, but you need to add a source for why it's more powerful too.
You actually DO need a calc for anything above 9-B tho. At least from what I've been told by the likes of KLOL.
The gold block feat I'm unsure if it's 9-A tho, Gold is a very soft metal and it takes like 3 hits to break it, it might just be 9-B.
Do Link's weapons scale to his elemental shit? The AP would be fine for hat at least, but Link isn't frozen solid there, only encased in ice, which is lower. If he can actually freeze enemies solid tho, show that instead and it should be fine.
Good feat, might actually be 9-A if he does it in like two swings so that's good.
killed Ganon alongside Zelda and Cadence, who beat down Octavo offscreen, who himself is superior to all of the Four Champions, all of which are at this size),
No scans.
far higher via the Kokiri Sword,
Why?
higher via Scroll of Enchant Weapon, Boots of Power, Glass Slippers, and War Drum,
Why? Ya gotta explain to what degree it gets amped so we know.
Building level Environmental Damage via Scroll of Freezing (Freezes the entire screen full of enemies that Link is in, regardless of amount)
Inversely, that is probably way above 8-C. Remove the "regardless of amount", just say he can freeze a room full of enemies and link the calc.
Speed: Subsonic (Can casually fight enemies at the speed of, and easily react to, spears thrown by Moblins, which should be traveling
at least 90 MPH),
far higher movement speed via the Pegasus Anklet and the Boots of Speed
Show it, it'd probably need a calc.
Lifting Strength: Class 1 (Can push stone blocks as big as himself either physically or with Spin Attack/Shadow Spin Attack),
higher via Power Glove
Show it, would probably need a calc too, might end up higher even given rock heavy as ****. A perfect Link sized cube of stone would be more like Class 10.
Durability: At least
Small Building Level (Can withstand
being frozen solid in a block of ice multiple times in a fight, which would require energy of this level;
Unless we have a UES, that would just be good cold resistance. In which case add that to his res'. Also, even then that only works if he's frozen SOLID, just freezing the air around Link and encasing him would be less.
can easily shrug off his own bombs which can blast massive holes in extremely thick ice or stone walls,
This one is straightforward tho, show it tho.
Calc.
can easily tank Hinox explosions, can take hits from Ganon who killed Octavo offscreen, and even a Ganon that had fused with the Skull Mask),
higher via Scroll of Enchant Armor, the Greaves, and the Ring of Protection,
far higher via Mirror Shield, Health Potions make him difficult to kill
Stamina: Like all Links, can easily keep fighting numerous opponents while heavily injured and nearly dead.
Probably remove the mention of all Links, otherwise that's fine.
Probably Peak Human.
Can use powerful magical artifacts that run on the user’s stamina multiple times during a battle with no signs of strain.
Show but yeah cool.
Ironically, fighting actually heals his stamina.
Definitely need to show this, this is also an ability.
Can fully heal his stamina with Stamina Potions or a Golden Fish.
Ig that's worth a mention here even if that isn't actually his stamina.
Range: Extended Melee Range via weaponry,
Fine.
many yards via Hookshot/Longshot, Bow and Arrows, and Scrolls
Show, also we don't have that rating, you probably want "Tens of Meters" or something.
Also you have to bold ranges now iirc.
Fragarach - A legendary weapon that is
said to be so sharp it's unstoppable, cutting through anything standing before it. In battle it is unopposed, being able to cut through any shield held against it, and any person within the wielder's swing along with it. Fragarach is so thorough that even in a single stroke, it also slices through items that guarantee an opponent against being
one-shot (i.e. Skull Masked opponents), hits weak points of Invulnerable opponents by cleaving through their body to meet their weak point on the other side, and even prevents enemies that split into smaller enemies upon death from doing so because it kills them too in the same swing.
Mf that's DEFINITELY dura neg if we're taking that literally, so add that.
Caladbolg - A legendary weapon that is fabled to be the finest long sword of an ancient realm. It is so heavy that a Spin Attack cannot be used with it, but because of this even the slightest bump with the sword is fatal to most enemies. When it is held out, the wielder is immune to being moved by most sources.
Scans.
Kokiri Sword - Link's parallel to the Royal Rapier, it is an ultimate weapon made with the express purpose of allowing Link to destroy anything in his path. Vastly stronger than any other weapon in the game, almost everything it touches will be killed in a single hit short of the most powerful enemies.
Scans.
Impa’s Naginata - A versatile weapon that strikes fear into the hearts of many dark creatures throughout Hyrule. Not only does it poison any enemy struck, it also heals half a heart from the user for every 5 enemies killed by the weapon.
Scans. Also in the above ability section, make a concise yet short explanation to add.
Tower Shield: A much bigger shield, the Tower Shield is much more durable than the Small Shield thus can block much stronger attacks, and can also ignore
Air Manipulation while it's being held up.
Scans. Also feels like that might just be due to it being heavy so it's hard to blow away? If they say otherwise than it's fine.
Mirror Shield: Even more durable than the Tower Shield and completely reflective, it is the ultimate shield. It can block any attack no matter how strong,
Reword that in wiki context, saying "no matter how strong" is a NLF, instead say "nearly/almost any attack", or just add a line like "i can block any attack n matter how strng within the game", or something, idk.
reflect any energy or magic attacks, and like its predecessor can block any type of air or sound.
Yeah but scan.
Bombs: Cartoonish bombs that Link can Link can place, kick, or throw at the opponent.
Gif would be nice.
Bombchus: Mouselike bombs that travel in a straight line until it hits something and explodes.
Gif would be nice.
Great Bow: A traditional recurve bow, except its arrows are guaranteed to pierce straight through every single opponent's body until it hits an object.
DEFINITELY need a scan or statement.
Its arrows can be imbued with fire, lightning, ice, or poison effects at the cost of stamina.
Hol up, is stamina just magic/mana?
Great Boomerang: Damages and stuns enemies. Will always find its way back to Link no matter what.
Unless it gets BFR'd to an alternate reality. Reword this a bit, like "Will always attempt to return to Link after being thrown" or something.
Scan too.
Fire Rod: Launches a ball of fire at the opponent, damaging them and lighting them on fire if it connects.
Gif.
Ice Rod: Launches a ball of ice at the opponent, damaging them and freezing them in a block of ice if it connects.
Gif.
Longshot: A sharp hook mechanism on a chain that stuns any enemy it hits, pulls any item toward Link, or pulls Link toward any viable surface.
Remove "any enemy", just say enemies.
Also gif.
Pegasus Anklet: A diamond-encrusted anklet that allows the user to charge up before releasing to leap forward at great speed.
Gif or whatever.
Rito Feather: Allows the user to jump high enough into the air that they avoid enemy attacks.
Gif.
Deku Leaf: Launches a gust of wind that knocks back any enemy or object in its path.
Gif.
War Drum: The user may stand still for one second, before attacking with a powered up hit in the following second.
To what degree? Also gif.
Cane of Somaria: Magically creates a block in front of the user.
Gif.
Lute: By playing it, the user may teleport to any activated Sheikah Stone or outside any dungeon.
Gif.
Power Glove: Allows the wearer to pick up most heavy objects.
Idk if i'd word it as "most heavy", just say "Allows the wearer to lift heavy objects they otherwise can't such as [thing]".
Tingle's Dowser: Helps the user navigate the Lost Woods or find treasure.
Scan. Would also probably be ESP or clairvoyance just like te Purah Pad.
Potions: The Health Potion completely heals Link, and the Stamina Potion completely refills his Stamina meter. The Health Potion will work automatically if Link dies, healing him regardless.
Good but show scans, especially the latter, that could qualify as limied resurrection even.
Magic Cape: Turns the wearer invisible and intangible.
If it's intangible then obviously add Intangibiliy to the abilities with it, also scans, gif, whatever.
Megaton Hammer: A giant magic hammer that smashes anything the user wants.
NLF wording, reword it a bit, also gif.
Scroll of Enchant Weapon: A scroll that, when used, makes Link slightly stronger for a long period of time.
Scan.
Scroll of Enchant Armor: A scroll that, when used, makes Link slightly more durable for a long period of time.
Scan.
Scroll of Electricity: A scroll that, when used, makes Link generate electricity with his attacks, spreading damage to other enemies when he hits one.
Scan, also that's kinda cool.
Scroll of Confusion: A scroll that, when used, makes all opponents Confused, inverting their movements.
Def need scan, add a quick explanaton of this in ability.
Scroll of Freezing: A scroll that, when used, freezes all opponents in a block of ice, regardless of number.
Even ten morbillion? You'd need to find out the maximum range on this, and the maximum limit. If you go route one 1, just say "within this [range]", if you go route 2 say "at least [number]", preferably both.
Scroll of Need: A scroll that, when used, gives Link exactly what he needs in that scenario, be it equipment, money, even Fairies to refill his Hearts.
A lil NLF but eh, scans at least.
Zora's Flipper: Allows the user to perfectly swim in deep water.
Scan.
Snorkel: Allows the user to breathe underwater.
Ok yeah so NOT Type 3 but Type 1, just show a scan and change that and it'd be fine.
Goron Locket: Makes the wearer immune to lava or any heat source.
No. "Makes the wearer unhindered by high heat such as lava or [idk other thing]", this is an EXPLICIT NLF.
Hibiscus Potion: If someone is asleep, even permanently, this can wake them up. it also seems to make the user immune to induced sleep, as Octavo could not put Link to sleep a second time once he had it.
Scans, especially for second. And if true, yeah Link would just flatout res sleep manip,
Hero's Medallion: A medal that marks someone as the champion of the Gerudo Arena, and makes them immune to poison.
Not immune, and also scan, otherwise fine.
ALSO, shove all this shit into his Notable Attack & Technique section instead, under a "Weapons & Items" tabber.
And, in his standard equipment, just list his critical base shit and then "all his weapons and items" or some shit. For his breakable shit, add a line saying they're breakable, and then in Optional Equipment say "All his breakable shit or whatever".
Alternatively tab his key and perm equipment from his temp shit, either way works.
Intelligence: Genius; Link is an absolute master of fighting, capable of fighting near flawlessly with any type of weapon other than rapiers and shovels against virtually any opponent.
Idk if I'd call that Genius, especially given he ISN'T perfect with everything, mostly just swords, spears, etc. Also bold the rating.
Fought through dozens of waves of monsters in the Gerudo Arena.
How though? Stat stomp, skill, etc? How skilled were these in turn? Stomping a bunch of stupid mobs ain't a good skill feat, but even just fighting one or two ultra skilled dudes could be genius, we need context here.
Solved the Temple of Brainstorms,
which Synthrova predicted he had a 0.002842% chance of being able to do, even if the temple was the size of Hyrule (Puzzle Mode).
How did he solve it? Was it luck? Tbh the fact it was predicted so low comes off more as him sheer forcing it or he isn't actually that smart normally, we need more context.
