i need to grab a scan from totk, but i archived it because it's like the switch's whole storage so i need to delete like eow or some shit to spend a hour redownload that just to spend 10m grabbing something, and then rearchiving and then redownloading eow again because i need shit from that still

whys the storage TINY

Can’t wait for Switch to become an jailbreak emulation console like the Wii U is after it came out.

Also I’m a little surprised that Switch 2 isn’t even out yet. Switch is close to 7 years old and god I just want something that isnt a 30 fps machine.

Nah, Nintendos putting all their effort into the framerate. Games will run at 33 fps on the switch 2

a lot of Nintendo's first party IPs minus the CPU heavy ones run at 60 fps, at least earlier on in the life span like most consoles.

third party and second party are most likely gonna be the worst offenders, but with DLSS and a decent upgrade to the ram ,hopefully we see more stability

Only Nintendo verses I'm aware of that have Tier 1's are Pokemon, Bayonetta, Xenoblade, and Fire Emblem. Earthbound's god tiers were Tier 1 too at some point, but they lost that quite a bit ago.

As for who's 2nd strongest, probably Alpha or some other Xenoblade character

No specs, no games, & almost no colour.
Also, I don't see the appeal of a stand. Is it not already handheld? & when that stand breaks, as such flimsy things inevitably do.... Ugh.

Youtube commenters mentioned there's 18 or 24 characters in the Mario Kart footage, compared to the usual 12, so that's something.

this is prob most likely a result of the console leaking really badly this past few weeks so just shadow dropping it so they could have some surprise

nah the stands important if your playing with friends away from home, the old one is really flimsy .

it says it will be BC with most switch games besides a few, the ones that come to mind are stuff like ring fit adventure which uses specific add ons that wont fit on the new model, perhaps some mario party stuff as well?

They don't gotta reveal the specs, they've been leaked for awhile. It's decently strong, it's pretty wild for a handheld too. This seems to be more of a forced hand, instead of a proper reveal.
No games is to be expected they never do right away tho, MK9 is technically stealth dropped. And we both know damn well Metroid Prime 4 is the launch title literally botw 2

The appeal is niche but some do like it, I've used it on things like a plane before. or at a table with a friend. Not common, but it does have utility. Dudes who take it everywhere would have more utility for it.

I didn't like the color of og switch, black is fine.

I will say though, they should've showed a tad more, even just 2-3 seconds of flashes like of the UI, menu and maybe small stuff like recording feature, or storage, idk.

Storage isn't a problem, the 30 second clip thing though? Yeah **** that. Do like what PS4 or 5 has where you can record and stop recording for far longer, or even record the past hour.

R$4,000 for a Nintendo Switch 2 in Brazil, this is because of "love", lol

Wait 4 years to get one and unlock it, maybe it will be very cheap, because until now i haven't been able to afford 4k on a laptop, and abroad it's almost reaching 400 dollars.
