Dungeons & Divers (RP Thread)

"I'd be happy to explain! You see.... &+>+[*2(1]1[#1[[×[×[×#^%‰₩#№¡#×[+." Humphrey speaks, but the words come out as incomprehensible static. "Did you get that? @&@>+^ ::ĉ9qoa」〔@+."

"W-What- What the f*ck is he saying, do you know what the f*ck he's saying???" Demiólke had immediately begun to panic, her pointed ears twitching as she heard the whale's incomprehensible noises. She turned back, considering leaving Dakath behind to get back to the party, but was reluctant.
A moth landed on the tip of one of Demiólke's ears and whispered to her in a tiny high-pitched voice that only she could hear.
"Nope, no idea what it just said there! Mr. Tiger back here can probably understand though. I'll replay whatever that was to him if you want him."

"Ah!" Demiólke was startled by something landing on her ear, and her hand swiped up instinctively and crushed the moth in her palm when it had begun whispering, the demoness thinking it was buzzing in her ear. She then goes 'eww' and wipes the moth remains off on her shorts.

"That didn't go as well as I expected. Talk about blending in perfectly! It looks like we're their last hope at alerting everyone else about the imminent danger."

"I've got no idea, but it doesn't sound good. We've got to get back to the group! C'mon, let's go!" He yelled, beginning to dash away from the friendly whale in the direction they came from. "Oh yeah, and Humphrey, thank you for all the help!"

"Bye Bye! Have fun!" Called out Humphrey, but by the time he spoke Demi and Dakath had already left.

Meanwhile...

The grass that Basil noted to be potentially carnivorous began rippling and moving up and down, almost like the gentle waves of an ocean. It became difficult to keep one's footing, and the ground beneath seemed to be vibrating...

"Ehhhh, we'll just wait here... Or maybe we should follow Demi~! Make a corn spin Chesty post haste! We need to make a decision!"

"You mean a coin flip? Okay! Heads, we go ahead and sneak off. Tails, we stay and tell the others."
A coin shot out from the lantern into the air and softly landed on the palm of her other hand. It looked like it was going to be heads... But then it flipped itself over and stopped on tails instead!

"Tails it is then! Wait... hold on, it said heads before..!"

"Oof, no time to waste!"
The lantern split itself once again and created yet another clone. It wasn't a swarm of insects or a coin that emerged from it this time, instead it was a parrot! The bird took off into the air and flew circles around the party while playing a noisy alarm.

"Ack! Danger! Danger! whistles Follow! Follow! Ack! To Whale! To Whale! whistles", the animal said, sounding exactly like how one would expect a normal member of its kind to sound like.

"Weeewoooweeewooooo~!"

Basil, having already been wary of the grass from his previous observations, attempted to stabilize himself as best he could, lowering his center of gravity so that he was not knocked down by the shifting environment.

"...This entire grassland may just be one...large colony of living grass. Or...maybe a larger creature of some kind? Shit..." Basil muttered to himself. He began to creep his way across the grasses, looking for anything he could use to gain higher ground. The less he touched the grass, the better.

"We should probably ascend as well. Our local nerd looks like he knows what's up."

"Well go ahead then! No need for reminders, fufu~"
Using the distraction provided by its parrot clone, the Mimic lamp shapeshifted into a second parrot and used its Domain Expansion E.T at the lowest range needed to bring Blythe into her personal room before soaring into the sky.
"To your castle you go~"
Chester then joined the first parrot in its task, to fly around in circles and attempt to save the rest of the party from their impending doom without being found out. Double the Trouble!

"Ack! Ascend! Ascend! whistles", both of the parrots said before playing part of a certain song.

"So high~! Whoaahhh~!"
Blythe was enjoying the view from the room, bouncing around as she played with her plush toys. The fireworks in her room go off in a colorful explosion.

(I'll just assume everyone not responding has no response and move on. If you have nothing to say please just say that instead of ghosting for days, makes things move much, much faster.)

(Ghosts have been claiming me the entire weekend over)

Amalie, thanks to her gut feeling, has already taking a cautious stance and jumped at the alien experience, running to the nearest highground with incredible gusto.

The violently rippling grass began shooting up in pillar-like chunks, their shape being reminiscent of cancerous growths or lumps on a human body. The innumerable blades of grass coating the formations began stiffening and sharpening— giant, flexible whips of razor sharp blades began flailing across the pitch black area, hitting anything that dared cross their path, and given how large they were, they crossed nearly every path.

Anyone who'd achieved some kind of high ground would find that their judgement wasn't exactly the smartest, given now the pillars of blades were shooting upward at them at high speed.

Meanwhile...

Demi and Dakath were no exceptions to the assault, finding a giant formation of bladed grass abruptly stopped them in their path back to the group, causing them both to nearly skewer themselves had they not stopped a moment before, swiftly halting their forward momentum.

"You gotta be f*cking kiddin'..." Demi stared up at the giant whips of bladed grass as they descended onto her and Dakath with the intent to blend them into pulp.

The two parrots blared out the noisy alarm once again, this time even louder than before to try and draw the attention of the killer grass away from the rest of the party. Their speed also increased which allowed them to swiftly maneuver in the air and avoid the giant pillars that were trying to hit them. The blades were fast but they were faster!

"Ack! Look Out Below!", the pair of birds warned as they began spewing some sort of oil down onto the ground while flying.

Meanwhile...

"MOVE!", the moths collectively shouted as they all rushed in to form a big solid wall in front of Demi and Dakath in an attempt to protect them from the hostile vegetation, their durability increasing to maximize the chance of success.

"Yeah! Move...! Hahahaha!" Blythe's faint voice would shout alongside them, echoing as she viewed the ride to be a little shaky.

Unlike the rest, being inside the room made her impervious to anything outside, as she was happily having her time, her eyes blaring with excitement when finally something like this occurred! Talk about a coincidence! The boring times of talk are over, some action is needed!

As soon as he saw the grass charging to attack them, Dakath smacked a large group of the enemies away with his bow, before grabbing Demi, and promptly dashing backward to gain some distance.

"Hey, do you think these things are magic?" he frantically asked the demoness, letting her go as soon as they were seemingly out of range from the blades of grass.

Dan would create a kind of barrier in the form of a door to defend himself

"Hmmm" he start to analyze the situation, whether or not I should summon a Shikigami
