She herself took a sit on her chair down, taking a bullet off from her pockets, flips it above like a coin, then catches it on the way down to swipe right on her flat rock in the right hand, flaming it up for her in time to take a puff and smoke out and position her leg over the other

"When i was still young i saw some sort of bad guy smoke what seemed like a cigar, only to be revealed its ammunition for his weapon, thought it was the coolest back then

When i was old enough to drink and smoke, i tried that shit too even though i was told its not gonna be to my liking....and....they were right, it was f*cking awful...at first...but then i tried it little by little yet i was unable to like it

Eventually i had a nasty bounty which made my mood go down bad, i had this bullet nearby my hand, i gave it a try after god knows how long and it surpringly calmed me down, i was so relaxed, the taste didnt bother me as much either, i was at peace and free in my mind, thinking only this would make feel better....but, i discovered other things lately doing the exact same..."

Explains it out to him
 
"That's a curious story to develop a way to relax through the use of ammunition, I guess you were trying from caliber to caliber" he joked before the mental image of Rox smoking a bunch of different bullets like machine guns, snipers and even anti-aircraft turret bullets.

Nick looked at her before turning literally tomato red when the smoke hit him, changing the color of his eyes from sun yellow to red blood

He looked away
 
"Ok, ok, i will stop, dont fry yourself alright?"

She puffs on her "cigar" for a while, before blowing more out of her lips immediately after
 
From the confines of the ship, a voice would be heard from the loudspeakers: "If you kids are done with the chitchatting, I suggest we all put on our seatbelts. The space bus is about to go on full turbo..."

The sounds of many clicking and whirring were thanks to the pilot making her way to the renewed cockpit, with her personal Cy being there as a support (or Jarvis) to help further pilot this thing, had it not have a better one than her.

With it the ship slowly ascended up into the sky, before its thrusters fully took it off to the stratosphere. The shaking brought to the pilots as the wound up was uncalled and unannounced for.

As soon as they hit the outer space, Tosho would put herself through the comms, with weird wires coming out of the sides of her cranium, saying: "Hello. This is Librarian. Manus HQ, do you copy?"
 
The silence hit the ship for a few seconds before a male voice aswner

"Here is Manus HQ, and God heavens, i thought you where lost after dont aswner our calls, what happen to you and your team in Mondas?" The voice questioned worry about the mission and what they lived there

"A lot. A lot happened.", the Doctor replied while standing by the doorway. The first thing he had done after boarding the ship was to check on Moon's body and only after making sure he was intact did the medic leave for central communications.

"We will compile all data and forward a report shortly, but to summarize...", he stepped closer and began typing on the terminal. "The entire planet is filled with hostiles, a portion of which are humans and robots but the threat mainly comes from other dangerous species that emerged years ago. Unfortunately, our spacecraft crashed and a member of our squad was KIA as a result. However, we also discovered several friendly communities that had managed to survive. One of them helped us repair the ship which is how we're talking to you right now."

"Okay okay, I'll have to make a report to deal with Moon's death, when you send me the data on everything you could see I'll take care of talking to squads R, D and E so they can take care of the situation, they will try to set up a reconnaissance site to find out how much damage has happened and process the people, if possible evacuate those who are in worse condition and redirect them to a nearby planet to be treated" He said before giving the coordinates to their new stop to the group

"You can return to your designated area until we cover everything and then we reassign you to another mission, so you will return to your normal posts before this mission and do your normal job" he says, the coordinates are for Greia Prime in the sector Stratum

"Thank you. Looks like we can finally leave.", Doc responded after mailing him the report.
 
It took them a day of travel, the passage through warp speed made them feel the typical tingling sensations throughout the trip, it was a slightly dizzying experience for Nick, not enough to vomit but enough for him to notice

After decelerating, the ship hovered over the top of the planet, once a beautiful planet, it took 40 years to mega transform it, the only thing left were the large amounts of water (90% water and 10% land originally), now all the land was surrounded by massive infrastructures, if someone fell through one of these it would take 5 minutes before finally hitting the ground

The ship was left at a cargo port where the group could get off

(unless I'm reading it wrong and you're just referring to the port itself, you know that this is the planet where the group normally works until they are assing to a mission? (not necessarily their Home planet [unless you want to be] but just like someone who works abroad, we're in the place where you mostly move and act, so around here should be for example the medical area where Doc goes and does his thing, or where somewhere in the city you have an apartment))

When Nick got off the ship he stopped, slightly shivering, not from fear or cold

"Could it, could it be- is this real?!?" The boy started crying digital tears as if he remeet with an old lover

"Rox there is internet, Rox there is internet!" For around 15 years without internet is difficult for someone who is basically a living PC, of course Nick does not have the internet password but he notice that the signal is there

This place again... It's not home, but I would rather be here than...
His thoughts were interrupted as their ship landed.
