Only way I see Batman returning is if they do The Avengers vs Justice League, which they DID say they'll probably do some time in the future on a DBC about a month or two back.
If the Avengers lose, the salt would probably surpass Ben vs Hal lol

I think the JL would win in the eyes of DB, I mean they already put Hal Jordan at 2-C and MTFL+ so I don't think it's impossible to say that they'll scale the JL to Hal alongside their own high end feats

The thing is who gets included with the Avengers. Justice League is pretty easy who to include, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, and Cyborg. (So basically all herald tiers except for Batman, unless you're giving him Hell Bat suit, then it's all heralds.) For Avengers, there are a few different teams you can use (like the MCU team, or that comic original team.) But generally, the only two of the Avengers that will matter is Thor and Hulk. Iron Man and Ant-Man can hang for a bit, but they're outclassed pretty quickly.

JLA vs Avengers pretty much just comes down to Thor, Hulk, and Tony in his upper armors against Clark, Diana, Hal, J’onn, and whatever Flash is used. Everyone else is fodderized by either Thor or Superman.
