The connections between Ben Tennyson and Green Lantern is that they are both earthlings whose powers came from a mysterious device from space that they wear on their arm that gives them a huge variety of powers (Ben wields the Omnitrix which allows him to shapeshift into any alien and Hal Jordon wields a Green Lantern power ring which allows him to create constructs and more), and they're both shining green. They're also known for fighting and helping aliens. They also work with/for crime-fighting organizations that recruit a multitude of aliens, which is identified with a specific green symbol (For Ben, The Plumbers and for Hal, the Green Lantern Corps). Both of their devices draw their powers from planetary sources (The Codon Stream on Primus and the Central Power Battery of Oa, respectively).

Both tend to be cocky and simple in there fighting styles despite the amount of power and hax they posses
and also tend to attract a lot gals to them

If anything Ben vs Hal had much more in common than Nova where the only thing he had in common with Hal was being galactic policeman and Marvel vs DC rivalry

While Seiya is probably gonna win, Usagi will beat Madoka. They think she’s wanked to shit here, with only a fraction of her hax and peaking at uni+.

If I remember correctly, it was supposed to end like this:
Alien X grows to galaxy sized, some shenanigans happen, and Hal creates a drill to match it. The drill then pierces the omnitrix, causing Ben to glitch through a bunch of transformations, briefly going to his human form, before dying in an explosion. That death might’ve been reused for Wallace vs Maurice.

Not to mention the god complex fallacy or false equivalency where normies believe if a character fought a deity or the godlike enemies in their setting they should automatically be comparable to other characters that have fought the gods of their verse.

Guts,Doomguy etc are the biggest examples of this
