So as cooperation do they came to this growing market, made it as streamed lined and appealing to the masses as possible and than milked it for everything it was worth. We've all heard the analogy that this era of the internet was like the wild west and in many ways it was, and like the west it was eventually tamed business once people started actually living there.

And these pushes were only made because corporations wanted to exploit the large user base of the internet. It all trails back to corporations in the end lol. Sure you could blame more people using the internet but it’s ultimately fruitless to blame the people who started using a popular and useful tool to join in on what we liked about it simply because major billion dollar conglomerates wanted to manipulate things to make them more money.

Well if you go by the anime, Goku was still able to fight competitively against Beerus just as well with Super Saiyan just he was as a Super Saiyan God.
Not to mention it's actually implied that Goku was equally as powerful after absorbing the godly energy as he was as a Super Saiyan God because Goku states he didn't feel a loss of power after going back into Super Saiyan until Beerus pointed the fact out.
So I think the anime goes with the notion that Base Goku=BOG Super Saiyan God at the end of the Beerus Saga

Technically
Maka Albarn is more or less pit against Ruby Rose
Black Star has also Kilkua and Bang aside from Chipp (Chipp is pit against Bang and yeah Killua is pit against Akame)
Death the Kid has anybody that duel wields pistols AND Satsuki Kiryuin
Crona is first pit against Ganta/Shiro (Deadman Wonderland)
Medusa Gorgon (Soul Eater) has Orochimaru and Gin Ichimaru. (Do try Gin Ichimaru for a surprise)
Kishin Asura has Avenger (Angra Mainyu) but that matchup is just... so spiteful it makes Akame vs Killua look tame.
