You know what, sure, that works tooFunny, i actually had Professor Layton in mind as potential opponent for Tintin.
That's kinda cool, but by that logic Cloud should be just as good, if not better than K' in the tier list, because he shares alot of these connections and more
- Both were kidnapped by evil organizations as children (Sumeragi and NESTS) and implanted with someone else's power (The First Adept and Kyo Kusanagi)
- Both have forgotten their names, instead going by the names these organizations gave them
- Both quickly left these organizations after being saved by someone else
- Eventually, they saved another experiment from the organization (Joule and Kula), who they became friends with
- Later on, they were one of the biggest factors in the fall of the organization that created them, in the process defeating someone from the same project that gave them their powers (Asmiov and Krizalid) and the leader/a high-ranking member of the organization with a god complex (Nova and Igniz)
- Have a debatably non-canon (One appears only in an alternate timeline, the other only appears in a non-canon game) character who was created to replace them by the organization they defected from (Blade and Nameless).
Where would killua go?Remade my Gunvolt tier list.
Right, I keep forgetting about him.Where would killua go?
Right, I keep forgetting about him.
Probably "Let's Go!"
any connections for this?Star Force Mega Man.
It was a Yates commission, and the commissioner said this:any connections for this?
Just to be sure, Gunvolt stomps Blake, right?Remade my Gunvolt tier list.
Basically, look at how hard Blake stomped Mikasa, and that's about how hard GV stomps Blake.Just to be sure, Gunvolt stomps Blake, right?
So expect Gunvolt to only lose an arm, got it.Basically, look at how hard Blake stomped Mikasa, and that's about how hard GV stomps Blake.
Tbh, considering Blake needs to be faster to do something against pervasion, Gunvolt losing hand will be equalivent Static "losing hand".So expect Gunvolt to only lose an arm, got it.
Also, is it just me, or do RWBY characters have a lot of matchup potential, despite most of them being stomps? I mean, you got stuff like Yang vs Infernape and Ruby vs Neptune...
Zyra from LoL? Rosemon from Digimon?Who can Poison Ivy fight?
Who can Poison Ivy fight?
Totally not because I want to see some hot girl on girl action.

Zyra from LoL? Rosemon from Digimon?
At least, for the kind of action you're asking xD
Absurdly loose connections but Yuuka Kazami from Touhou perhaps? I'm not really aware of any MUs for Poison Ivy ngl.
Well a plant + poison user who is a sexy bio-terrorist... is surprisingly unique as properties for a fictional character ehIts Petey Piranha, Ivy's destined fight.
Eh, it's Adam. He deserves to get stomped.Insert how the RWBY rep gets stomped again comment here.
Remade my Gunvolt tier list.
I am not bullshitting when I say that Zeke von Genbu fits at least 4 of these 5 connections, if not all of them.
Let's go down the list:
This one is pretty straightforward. On the one hand, I interpret this as something that the subject in question would not possess naturally (I don't recall GV getting Septima naturally, or using it lest it mean ending up under Azimov's wing. I could be wrong, though). On the other, Blades on the wiki are described as 'weaponized life forms', an augmentation of someone's fighting ability in Alrest. and for those that remember the Architect's 20-minute exposition dump, he states how he basically had to recreate life, atoning for the sin he'd committed in the previous universe. For those that know who that was, it could be argued that that all life on Alrest is 'artificially created' in some way, lest we justify he was rewarded for his folly. You know the one...
Blades also go through multiple drivers, so to say that Zeke got Pandoria from 'another being' (a previous driver) is on the same level of debate as 'water is wet' (see also: the Architect). As for the major person in his life turned major-antagonist, that would be Amalthus. But naturally, there is some contrast:
Amalthus didn't give Zeke Pandoria, he already had Pandy before Amalthus and the Indolines found Zeke out about to die (another point we'll come back to). Hence Zeke briefly becoming a proxy for Amalthus, and we all know how that turned out... (if you couldn't guess, Amalthus goes against everyone because he's supremacist and all that). Although, despite Zeke having Pandoria before Amalthus entered his life, you could make the argument that Zeke becoming a Blade Eater as a result of the CC transplant could be similar, or an amp of some kind.
"Pandoria looks pretty damn human for a blade..."
Alrest verse already took this in it's stride, if not already achieved it if they see Core Crystals as natural. Indol did have an anti-war sentiment that they attributed to the Blades themselves, and Amalthus's 'cleansing' was actually a sterilising agent for Titans (where have I heard that before...?), contributing to less living land, but other than that... depends how you interpret it.
While the details of what went down aren't entirely clear, Zeke does drop his backstory of how he "almost bloody died" while the party is looking for the 3rd Aegis Sword in Spirit Crucible Elpys. Cutscene itself explains it better than I ever could.
Next...
(Imma just take this as an opportunity to prattle off who wins)
I do understand the concerns people have about pitting High 6-A against 7-B, but I do think Preservation and the Septima's Electric Immunity brings Zeke down to GV's level. I also think that GV ultimately outpaces Zeke, not just because Jota and Merak are far more consistent forms of Lightspeed scaling for him, but because I've always found the lightspeed scaling for Jin to Zeke to be rather dubious, and not backed by much. Jin isn't much of a talker, as seen in his personality, he was obviously being sarcastic when he tried to flatter Zeke for his speed. And while I do think that XC2 has false proclivities as a power scaling case study, I do think that the scenes on Genbu Crown is far more honest about it, with editing used to show that characters are getting properly speed blitzed.
Couple all of that with Anthem and GV's more abundant hax list, and Zeke has a hard time in this fight.
He had sommcuh potentialEh, it's Adam. He deserves to get stomped.
why would you have steven universe show up twice in the same season??Saitama should have fought Sans.
Legit why And noSaitama should have fought Sans.
He was being written by the RWBY writers. He had no chance of having any potential realized from the start, lol.He had sommcuh potential
Not really, when you stop and think about it...He had sommcuh potential
In the hands of capable writers he would've been betterNot really, when you stop and think about it...

W-Why. That's an awful matchup.Saitama should have fought Sans.

It would be funny and the match was quite popular back in the day. Also it could go either way honestly.Legit why And no
yeah noIt would be funny and the match was quite popular back in the day. Also it could go either way honestly.
possibly next seasonSince they were mentioned on a podcast, I wonder if they'll ever have the Street Sharks in a DB.
Both can be calced to around FTL, if Saitama could hit Sans Sans dies while Sans attacks are soul based which Saitama doesn't resist. It could go either way.It really couldn’t
You think?possibly next season
Out There MUYou think?
