Death Battle Season Eight Discussion Thread (2) (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

I feel like they care less about the toxicity surrounding the analysis or conclusion and more about how one of the defining connections is how much people hate them. Sort of a modern equivalent to Bieber vs Black, though still not as bad as that. Death Battle should go out of their way to represent the characters respectfully, and if one of the main connections between characters is how despised they are, it becomes a lot harder to do that.

I honestly don't care for Avatar or Star Wars but I'm at least aware of how people perceive Rey and Korra, and I'd rather get a stomp match than 2 weeks of people bitching about how they ruined the franchise or whatever.

Also the reasoning for why they didn't do Korra vs Rey is downright idiotic and laughable
Lets run this shit down

DB endured the fallout from Goku vs Superman not once but twice
Endured the fallout from Ben vs Hal
Endured countless fuckery from various Mu that had many people hurl various amounts of insults throughout 10 years and they felt Korra vs Rey was nah?
nah **** that
This is Vs
You don't get into this hobby and not expect toxicity
that's like expecting the water not to be blue or expecting shit not to stank

Straight facts.

Not to mention they literally used Steven Universe and Star Butterfly in this very season.

Gonna spitball Storm feats to gauge how big of a her MU is.

Korra Stats: Tier 7-6 and Massively Hypersonic; Moon level at absolute most with giga wank.

Storm’s speed: At minimum Storm’s gonna be Relativistic/FTL since DB accepts light timing feats from Spider-Man/Iron Fist. Storm herself has dodged Cyclops’ Optic Blast, which, as a laser, moves at the speed of light. This alone sorta negates Korra’s chances since there’s not a lot you can do against someone hundreds of times faster than you. And Lord help Korra if they scale Storm to Herald Tier speed feats.

Notable Storm feats:

• Created a planetary storm
• Injures Colossus
• She once summoned and contained the full power of an entire galactic core within herself
• Blocked a bloodlusted Cyclops’ Optic Blast, which is stated to be able to split a small planet in half and staggered World War Hulk
• Pressures Magneto’s forcefield and causes him to strain himself (In Batman vs Iron Man it’s mentioned that Magneto once punched “with the power of the sun” and his shield has blocked attacks from Phoenix, She-Hulk, Thor, Doctor Doom, ect)
• Zapped Phoenix Force Emma Frost
• Zapped the Silver Surfer
• Blocked a lightning blast from an enraged clone of Thor
• Rather explicitly harms the Gladiator (we rate this dude at flat out Herald Tier)
• Momentarily overwhelms the Hulk
• Damages Terrax, a Herald of Galactus
• By amplifying herself with the faith of the Wakandans she was able to defeat the Adversary, a reality warping entity that can affect the entire space-time continuum and all time streams
• Despite the Silver Surfer and Fantastic Four being present, only she and Doctor Strange were able to withstand serving as a vessel for Eternity

Also, I never said Korra vs Storm was a good fight. It's just that I don't have to hear people talk about mary sues or whatever the **** people who don't go outside complain about when it comes to these characters.
