Monkey's paw curls as Smasher gets a massive speed buff because of Edgerunners
I don't even know if Horrigan would've won before but now he's ultra screwed unless you want to argue that he's faster because of laser and gamma weapon speeds. But that's a lot harder to do compared to seeing Smasher just outright move at super speeds. Though I know a lot of people don't believe in using Edgerunners feats because of the disparity in stats between Edgerunners and the tabletop for Smasher.

It's because Beerus is just the absolute worst at this job. He sleeps for thousands of years at a time and when he is awake he's either blowing up planets for the dumbest of reasons like their food not being to his liking or allowing people like Buu, Frieza, and Moro to go around destroying everything. He straight up almost died because of Buu nearly killing Shin while he was sleeping. Think the only time we see him ever actually do his job when him erasing Zamasu and even that was partly out of self preservation.

Really, seeing a lot of these makes me think 'I seriously wish I was rich because what even ARE some of these matchups?!' - Like- I love Eggman, but I struggle to see how Eggman vs Griffith works as a MU, or Krillin vs... a Waddle Dee... how?

Some I do like though like Flash Gordon vs Buck Rogers, Tarzen vs George, Hulk vs Asura, or Cobra vs Harlock

Krillin vs Bandana Waddle Dee makes sense. Both are faithful support characters that stick with the OP protag despite a lack of variety in their own powers, using what skills they do have to their highest capability. They were both previously quite weak, and trained to be able to fight on par with their stronger friends.

They're 2-C and MFTL+,and can resist black hole levels of LS.

They have plants that they can eat to heal them, and are known for throwing these plants at people.

Both are also blue, orange, and bald, and like spinning sharp objects.
 
Funny enough looking at GvS3 Ultraguy blogs, Goku Namek meteor feat is mentioned there so it was known to them at the time.

MLP has always been a bit of a fan favorite among DB fans tbh. Adding that franchise into a Death Battle is the epitome of what the show is at its best: pitting characters that have absolutely no reason to be powerscaled into a death match and being surprised just how strong they can be.

It is a fun matchup though, lol. I saw a reddit post on why it's being pitched from the guy who bought the tier, and it sounds alright when you set aside Celestia being God stomped and look at the thematic connections

Honestly I think Gohan vs Twilight might be one of Twilight's few good MU's she has

Also it's not like Gohan has any better MU's, he only got a few good ones

I honestly don't know what the hell people think they're cooking with Gohan vs Twilight. It's... okay? But if you're gonna have her fight anyone from DB, have her fight GOKU. Idc what connections she has with Gohan, just let it be a main character vs mane character

I always get stunlocked by Tekken cutscenes because I keep forgetting that it does that thing where everyone just speaks their native language but everyone understands each other anyway.

If people want to see their MUs no matter what they are this is their shot to make it at least heard.

With that said, a lot of new MU suggestions I see sure are "Uhh What"-Tier.

connections are fine but it doesn't sell me the appeal as a fight

To me it feels dumb to have folks pay $500 to pitch a mu when others can do so without giving up much in return

It doesn't help as mentioned most of these mu would be hard to sell to the general audience

Nah I rather have Gohan fight someone else than getting fraud checked by a pony as well plus if ya want a DB vs MLP mu Moro vs Tirek is there just need the former to get serious footage of some kind

Also the MU doesn't really click all too much
 
Ill semi-respect these MUs but yeah, there are so many bad MUs out there I hope wont happen lol
