If there are any Spawn-knowers around, can any of you help clarify what I've heard about God Spawn not being a standard thing for him to have regarding a Death Battle? Is it like a thing that he got with help then gave up, or the type of form that has to have people on the outside come into 'activate' it as such.
I'm doing some cursory research on the next fight since the reddit and here aren't really talking about it and trying to see if this really comes down to a 'my cosmology is bigger than yours' like most people are assuming or not. Just going off of the site here GR with unrestrained Zarathos is 1A to God Spawn's Low 1-C, but I know that DB rarely uses the arguments and calculations they have here.
Personally it feels like Johnny should take this from being able to 1v1 Mephisto in his realm alone, but if there's anything DB has taught me it's that learning about another character's kit can be fun.

By the way regarding Todd and Spawn, would he be correcting or calling out Death Battle if they get something wrong on his character? As in context and such taken wrong, i feel like thats a legitimate thing one can do if they misinform our your stories

Garth Ennis is a good writer when an editor is making sure he's not writing the edgiest thing imaginable. His run on Constantine is considered one of the best ever written for the character and Hitman is a comic darling. Most of his other content when he doesn't have someone breathing down his neck, complete dog shit.

I read the first series out of curiosity after hearing people speaking ill of it and I must say they are all correct.
It's cringe and tries way too hard to provoke a shock effect, the plot is inconsequential and has no meaning, the characters don't have a personality and are monodimensional at best, it's full of plot holes and is generally uninteresting as whole.
Spare yourself an afternoon and avoid wasting time on this thing.

The Ichigo's design kinda sucks. One of the main jokes of his character is that despite looking like a delinquent he's actually not, making him a hard delinquent girl just doesn't work. Ideally he'd be something like Sailor Jupiter civilian design where due to her height she has to wear a longer skirt which is traditionally something worn by delinquents.

We really complaining about the designs when the whole point is to be r63 versions of our favourite characters? I think their top prioity was that the looked like hot woman ichigo rather than actual thought and care lol. I'm more surprised they actually got voice actors lmao
