Kratos VS Asura has everything to be at the level of peak episodes such as Bowsegg and Billcord, even if DB get some parts of the scaling wrong, i'm sure the overall production of the episode, including DA's fighting animation and the soundtrack, will be awesome and compensate it

Asuras bros: how strong did Asura get during his fight with Chakravatin before he defeated him? Because even though Kratos' Universal scaling is much more deep then Asura's, Asura's level of growth could somewhat mitigate that massive gap assuming that Kratos doesn't get his own accelerated development

Asura went from getting easily no diffed by Chakravartin to having Chakra's arm explode from punching Asura in base form.
The issue with this however is this is pretty much Asura at his angriest, meaning his growth shouldn't be as potent especially against Norse Kratos. Chakravartin orchestrated every shitty thing that happened to Asura You'd have to make Kratos go way OOC to justify this type of rage.

As Gyra said, its busted to the point that he can get quite literally 1 tapped in his strongest form, to having Chakravartin self destruction just by hitting him. In his weakest form.
However, I think this would still apply to the fight if Asura is going off of what Kratos did in Greece.

Bowser VS Eggman was a giant army battle with two characters that have several significant weapons and technology that people wanted to see on the fight. The main reason they showed the alternate scenarios was to make the stuff that were interesting enough to appear on the animation don't see to be insignificant + Please those who wanted to see those weapons in action.
Kratos VS Asura doesn't have the same problem, Kratos most famous weapons can easily be included in an animation of nine freaking minutes and Asura barely has any equipment

The animation is meant purely for entertainment not an actual rep of the fight. Even if it was, he would be mad but not nearly as mad when he fought Chakravartin.

I mean it’s one thing to cut out stuff from the storyboards but DA said he ANIMATED 9 minutes of content, that would be a lot of work to cut parts from for no good reason.

While I have no idea how the BoO and mantra will interact, there is an okayish arguement for partial resistance to power draining for Asura since nullifying something is manipulating it. Doing anything to something that influences it is manipulation.
Now keyword being partial, as removing all the mantra in the universe for good also killed Asura, so I can see DB arguing Kratos doesn't have that sort of range, (even if he realistically does I don't really know)

If they can reasonable prove that Asura's resistances are enough to counter Kratos's superior hax and weapons to allow his AD to kick it and give him the chance to surpass and overpower Kratos, then he can win.
If not then Kratos shoud logically be able to keep weak him and keep him from getting too strong with his arsenal until he its able to permanently kill Asura.

Yeah Kratos is winning this, it's a no brainer really. Not Spongebob vs Aquaman levels of bad I don't think cause there is some nuance to this fight but everything just seems stacked in Kratos's favour and I much prefer Asura personally I'm preparing myself for the inevitable Asura bros it's joeover
