Joker vs giorno isn’t doing nearly as well in views as I thought it would

I saw it coming a mile away.

Normies don't know what a Persona is. JoJo at least has a proven record of getting views but Persona doesn't. Weiss vs Mitsuri or whatever did horrible and I knew this wasn't going to be much of an improvement. So not a total flop, but the legs have been terrible.

Legit idk what swan was cooking for that dialogue for OmniDock when you look at entirely it doesn't even feel coherent from one line to another

fr bro, not as bad as "I WISH YOU GONE FOREVER" tier, but it was some Season 1 tier ahh dialogue.

Bowser vs Eggman isn't going be a highly viewed ep either, better than previous ep for sure, but not as high as may you think. I have this gut feeling that the ep is gonna do like maybe 1.3m in a week, even if its the best episode in a long time.

A: AFAIK Joker shitstomps even without any cross Megaten scaling, also pretty sure with new standards Persona would be 1-A anyway. Though i could be wrong on that, feel free to interject.

B: Like mentioned above, they intentionally downplay the stronger character to make the fight's closer than they actually are, in reality like 70-90% of the fights in DB are either Stomps or Mismatches

True. Sonic fans aren't too found of Death Battle in general and Eggman is even less popular than a lot of Sonic characters in the debating scene (Metal is more popular than him, lol). So it will do well but probably not as well as the peak of Mario vs Sonic.

Tl;dr this was shortly after Pokemon Origins, which undenounced to me had basically shot this episode in the foot right from the outset for the sake of the normies, and given shit like the 'what Digimon is that?' comment, it was wall-to-wall character assassination with such a comment that had aged poorly on concept, and it's clear that the writers had no idea how to write around the lack of prep/knowledge from each opponent without making both sides come off as cringe and unlikeable.

• AkumaShangtsun Oddly neat for 2nd ep in series, do we even count its research tho lol
• HaggarZangief I guess for 5th damn ep its ok, but its actually a same verse MU huh
• ChunliMai I think le scaling says Chun says but its so mid
• PikachuBlanka I still guilty pleasure like that kill, but uhh yeah SF kinda do got win they didnt deserve
• KahnBison I kiiinda think its ok but nothing special, I guess research is ok?
• RyuScorpion decent fight ngl but NLF research
• SatanDan seems ok and was funny at the time
• CammySonya no one cares except research I recall was bad, miiiid
• KenTerry was decent no complaints?
• BalrogTJ no personal attachments but this one is good, seen mentioned others liking it, ngl dunno if right research?
• RyuJin decent fight but mentioning this will just attract BlackDarkness rant again :V

Where are SF fans? This looks kinda dire ngl and no one really talks about it. Maybe 2-4 Ws they shouldnt get but also 2-4 Ls they dont deserve? Rarely fights are that good either. They blew their load early too, 4 eps in S1 and more than half of their eps are over 10 years old, damn.

Pretty sure Asriel wins that pretty handily, DIO doesn't resist any of Asriel's good stuff. Meanwhile while Asriel doesn't resist the time stop, he does resist basically all of DIO's go to options for it (Resistance to the soul manip, resists erasure, and DIO's power null is only momentary and Asriel's empowerment count counteract it after being nulled)

Plus, I don't think DIO has any real way to perma-kill Asriel + he has that massive weakness of needing to punch his opponent to manipulate them which Asriel doesn't need
