What confuses me is Oda saying (laugh tale vol 4) Luffy's sound effects in Gear 5 are actually all present there to the characters, not just manga sfx. I can't tell the distinction between which sfx is manga specific and which is G5's stuff

I guess that all the SFX that appear while Luffy is in Gear 5th are real (at least the ones that he cause directly), while every other one that appear when Luffy isn't in Gear 5th aren't.

I never disputed this, but the primary reason why they can downscale from Kaido is because they injured him. So far, Lucci has not hurt G5 Luffy. That is a significant difference between the Scabbards and Awakened Lucci

In a 1v1 with them he's obviously winning low-mid diff but if it's a team effort he dies

The dawn rocket did in fact incapacitate Lucci and took him out of the fight for a while. He reacted to it the same way he reacted to Gear 3rd back in Enies Lobby.

We clearly see Lucci stab him and move past him while using Soru and Hand Gun, so why try to hype Lucci by saying Sentomaru blocked? Bit weird.

If they can get the Seraphim in their control the Straw Hats can win easily and Zoro or Luffy can defeat Kizaru
But I'm not sure about this.

Luffy vs Kizaru (luffy wins then maybe faces lucci and thats it for luffy) zoro vs S-hawk (i dont think it would be easy even for zoro) then sanji vs s-shark (or kuma)
jimbe vs (s-shark or kuma) then robin vs s-boa then nami + usopp vs strussy, Kaku vs maybe franky and brook and maybe chopper cures santomaru then fight the army its really hard for the straw hats.

Honestly a great chapter, nice to see Lucci get dogwalked, I've been waiting for this for so long and people have ridiculed me badly but in the end I had the last laugh and the biggest laugh of them all

... That scene with SeraBoa was completely abhorrent though.

for me so far Lucci is Top tier YC so stronger than kata and possibly king and marco (or at their level) Ben becman is untouchable tho

His Durability is nice
His Endurance is also good
How ever I still don't think he'd match up to the other top tiers like Law, Kidd, First Commanders, etc.

iirc Benn is relative to Shanks in power or somewhere near his level, so yes, he should reasonably clap Lucci.
Not even downplaying but Benn seems like an absolute unit and I don't really see why Lucci would beat him
