Is it really confirmed that Suwako and Sumireko are straight? Junko mighta purified her sexuality but she did have a husband.

Yeah most of the idk tier are unconfirmed. Except Youki, he is probably straight?

Yeah Touhou really doesn't give us much info on sexuality.

A good friend of mine that is a yuri fangirl told me that Shion and Tenshi are actually very gay because they blushed at each other a lot, go out together and are very close friends in a manga I haven't read yet. A yuri fan would never lie to me about canonical sexualities, they never had headcanons nor they ever try to make others believe that their headcanon is actually canon. I trust her words with all of my soul.
She also told me Renko and Maribel are lesbians for each other but I never read their stories so I can't confirm or deny it.
That isn't Meira, it's PC-98 Reimu. She flirted with Meira so she's a lesbian.
Meira is homophobic since she started saying homophobic stuff.

Suwako, Sumireko and Junko had descendants. Unless their descendants are adopted (They're probably not) then it's very likely they got busy with a man and had children. And as far as I know, like 99% of women who have children with men are into men. So it's very likely they're straight rather than unconfirmed, asexual, bisexual or lesbian.

Yeah, I am not sure if that is canon to Touhou or canon to their original mythos but I put it there cuz it's funny that some space "racists" are also incestuous. It's just like real life racists/race supremacists.

Yeah, she probably had kids in the future or something. Unless she is a lesbian that adopted kids or something but 99.199% of the times when you have the surname of an ancestor it means your ancestors gave birth to you which means they were in a relationship.

I am starting to wonder how different this tierlist would be if I included characters that "acted gay"? As in blush at a girl or be way too friendly with other girls in ways that a 90s bully would call them gay.

I can't read Japanese and the screenshots do look like a genuine ZUN game to me so I was wondering if I fell for misinformation (Again) or if it's real?
 
I'm very convinced this game will have an Animal Realm/beat youkai motif, seeing as Reimu has her pawprint outfit from WBaWC again, the playable cast is mostly beast youkai, and the story rundown mentions beasts a lot. Most Japanese artists I follow are also confident about a beast theme, so I'll take their word for it (ESPECIALLY if it means Keine might come back).
 
Judging the characters drawings by the few images shown I must say that it looks a little bit better than the previous 2 games though I am not very fond of the shading. The characters look too bland, I liked the shading of earlier games a lot more.
I like the poses, Reimu looks good but Seiran and Marisa look like they have the same face, like it was copypasted.
 
Damn! I thought I came earlier to share the news!
I really liked 17 AND Phantasmagoria games so this is a hell of a treat for me.
I hope ZUN expands on beast/spirit physiology because I am a sucker for racial abilities.

Let's see, if we'll get a few of WBaWC and UM chars, my bet are Saki and Momoyo, maybe Urumi and Megumu as well and no, it's because i want playable hot milf tengu and ushi-oni on my lawn#Cope
Yachie is too laid-back so i don't see her in battlefield that much
Finger crossed for Reisen since Seiran is there, then again we didn't see the other MC Gang outside Reimu and Marisa, maybe Youmu obviously will be confirmed
