1) Taiju's Power Percentages
Taiju's power percentages come from him stating how much power he's using during fights. He first states this in chapter 94 of the manga after he punches Takemichi, distorting his vision, temporarily paralysing him and sending him flying meters away and states that he punched him at 30 percent power before, refering back to chapter 79-80 when he was first introduced. He then goes ahead and uses 70 percent power aganist Mitsuya in chapter 97 after he and Chifuyu arrive at the church they're fighting in. Mitsuya was, very blatantly, getting stomped in the fight, while at chapter 84 in their confrontation (when Taiju haven't started using 50 percent power yet), he could block his punch, albeit with some difficulty (the difficulty he had was even more obvious in the anime).
Lastly, Taiju punches and knocks out Mikey at chapter 104 when he arrives at the scene, though to his dismay Mikey gets up soon after. Taiju states that he threw the hardest punch of the day (this can be interpreted as Taiju upping the percentage to 100 percent as he has no reason to hold back aganist Mikey because of his influence of being invincible) while Mikey states that he just took the punch to punish himself, then goes on to blitz and one-shot Taiju.
Enough explaining, let's get to the scaling.
Taiju at 30 percent power
Taiju's 30 percent AP should scale relatively to 1.16 MJ (9-B, Wall level) Takemichi stated that Taiju at 50 percent power was "on a whole another level" after comparing it to all of the other punches he took, which includes Baji's punches. Chifuyu, who's inferior to Baji, could damage Soichiro with his attacks. Taiju's punch at 50 percent power was stated to be "on a whole another level" compared to Baji, like I said above, so Taiju at 30 percent power scaling to Baji in AP makes sense here.Taiju at 50 percent power
Taiju at this percentage should roughly scale to 1.93 MJ (9-B, Wall level).Taiju at 70 percent power
Taiju at 70 percent power should scale to 2.7 MJ (9-B, Wall level) due to upscaling from his 50 percent self. Characters who can casually defeat characters that scale to Taiju's 30 percent power, but essentially weaker than his full power should scale here.Taiju at 100 percent power
Taiju at 100 percent power should scale to 3.86 MJ (9-B, Wall level) due to upscaling from his 70 percent self. Characters who can keep up with and damage Taiju in the Kanto Manji Arc (as he has no reason to hold back then) should scale here.2) Inverse Scaling
Characters that scale to Taiju at 30 percent power
- Ryusei Satou (Saved Baji from getting hit by a "Killer Bee" member, can damage Ayumu with his attacks, should be comparable to Chifuyu)
- Ayumu Tobishima (Dodged a kick from Ryusei and could block his attack while off guard)
- Chifuyu Matsuno (Should be comparable to Ryusei, could damage Soichiro, defeated Mochi)
- Keisuke Baji (Should be superior to Chifuyu)
- Kiyomaro Mori (Could dodge attacks from Baji and damage him with his attacks, albeit a direct hit from him knocked him out)
- Soichiro Matsuno (Cratered a wall by slamming Chifuyu on it, can also keep up with him)
- Mochizuki Kanji (Should be comparable to Mitsuya, also comparable to Chifuyu)
- Takashi Mitsuya (Blocked a punch from Taiju at 30 percent power, fought and defeated Ran Haitani, but considered it to be a good fight)
- Peh-Yan (Stated by Mitsuya to be stronger than himself)
- Pah-Chin (Should be at least be comparable to Peh, due to being his captain)
- Ran Haitani (Should be comparable to Rindou, fought evenly aganist Mitsuya, although lost at the end)
- Rindou Haitani (Constantly keeps up with Ran to help him in double battles, fought evenly aganist Hakkai but lost at the end)
- Smiley (Stated by his brother to be able to stop Rindou's tackle like it was nothing, who should be a reliable source)
- Hakkai Shiba (Fought and defeated Rindou, albeit with very high difficulty)
- Seishu Inui (Was able to defeat Chifuyu while the latter was in a bad state, stated that he wanted to face him at his best)
- Hajime Kokonoi (Could keep up with and damage Inui)
Characters that scale to Taiju at 50 percent power
- Chome and Chonbo (Both stated to be superior to Kazutora's friends in juvie, which includes Kensho, Soichiro, Ayumu and Kiyomaro)
- Yasuhiro Muto (Paralyzed a person from waist down with a Judo throw, recieved a special role in the gang from Mikey due to being the strongest captain, defeated Inui with no difficulty)
- Osanai Nobutaka (Easily defeated Pah-Chin)
Characters that scale to Taiju at 70 percent power
- Angry (Blitzed and one-shot Ran and Rindou, one-shot Mochi and Mucho with a broken leg and arm while in his "Crying Blue Ogre" state)
Characters that scale to Taiju at 100 percent power
- Kakucho Hitto (Izana stated that the big four of Tenjiku were "stale trash" compared to Kakucho, one-shot Mucho, outsped and one-shot Angry in his Crying Blue Ogre form, forced South to use his Dark Urges off screen)
- Taiju Shiba (Took attacks from Waka and Benkei and made them use a move they didn't use aganist South, easily defeated Inui off screen)
- Takemichi Hanagaki (Could keep up with Kakucho in the final arc with his Resolution)
- South Terano (Beat Ran, Rindou, Mochizuki, Mucho and Shion off screen with visibly no difficulty, could block Draken's punches and damage him, could keep up with Benkei and Wakasa)
- Wakasa Imaushi (Should be comparable to Benkei, stated he could've knocked out Kakucho if he cared enough, could dodge South's punch and damage him)
- Benkei (Should be comparable to Wakasa, could react to and block Kakucho's attempt to blitz him even though he was off guard, blew South meters away with a punch)
- Draken (Comparable to Hanma, sent South flying with a punch while South was on guard)
- Hanma Shuji (Comparable to Draken)
Characters that scale above Taiju at 100 percent power
- Mikey (Could keep up with and overwhelm Chonbo and Chome in an imbalanced location, blitzed and one shot Osanai, dissapeared out of Taiju's sight and one shot him, kept up with Izana and ultimately defeated him)
- Izana Kurokawa (Blitzed and one shot Peh, defeated the whole S-62 generation by himself with no difficulty off screen, dominated Mikey in the majority of their fight)
Characters that scale far above Taiju at 100 percent power
- South Terano with Dark Urges (Defeated Kakucho easily off screen, easily defeated Wakasa and Benkei after activating his Urges, kept up with and knocked Senju away with one punch)
- Senju Kawaragi with her True Potential (Comparable to South with Dark Urges)
- Mikey with Dark Impulses (The fastest and strongest character in the series. Blitzed Hanma, easily defeated Kakucho off screen, badly damaged and killed South with Dark Urges, troubled Takemichi with his attacks and eventually even blitzed him, even though the latter could see the future seconds prior)
- All of the characters above will scale to this feat in speed as they are all at least comparable to Baji.
- Shinichiro should scale to Takemichi's feat in AP due to being superior to a no name delinquent. He should scale to a no name delinquent's speed, which is Subsonic.
- Kid Mikey should upscale from Takemichi's feat through being able to damage Shinichiro with a kick, who can defeat multiple delinquents at once), and upscale from Kisaki's speed as he can casually blitz no name delinquents who are comparable to Kisaki.
- Takemichi without his Resolution should scale to this calc (Takemichi tanks an explosion) in terms of AP and Durability, and this calc (Kisaki saves Mikey) in terms of speed as he is comparable with Kisaki. Kisaki should also scale to Takemichi without his resolution. Kiyomasa should be downgraded to "At least Subsonic".
- Angry without his Crying Blue Ogre amp should upscale from Kisaki's speed and Takemichi's AP, through being much faster and stronger than an average delinquent.
- Hanma's Combat and Reaction Speed should be listed like "At least Supersonic (Could keep up with Draken in combat), higher reaction speed via Enhanced Senses (Blocked Mikey's signature kick)
- Takemichi with Future Vision shouldn't get scaled to Mikey with Dark Impulses in reaction speed as it was stated by Mikey that he was moving before Mikey was moving in their fight.
- Chonbo and Chome were stated to be superior to other characters Kazutora met in juvie, which includes Kensho (he doesn't have a profile yet), Kiyomaro, Soichiro and Ayumu.
