Roshi died using the Mafuba, and he had actually learned how to do it, why would the training kill you?

Roshi died after using the Mafuba because Picollo was massively strong than him, so using that technique on Picollo drain him all of his life force.

Tenshihan have way more Life force than Roshi, so he can handle the Mafuba way better.
Not sure why you don't think he can't handle the Mafuba anyway.

Like in the anime when he does use the Mafuba on Picollo, and don't die.

Not by that much.
And thats is more a Roshi problem than Tien, because of his old age.
Tien can use Kikohou, that also drains the life force of the user, and stand just fine, so handling the Mafuba makes sense.

The Mafuba drains more than Kikoho. For instance, look what happened when he used Spirit Kikoho

Ok, so i din't say the Mafuba and Kikoho are equal in draining, but since Tenshihan already have a techinque that drain his Life force, he could handle the strain of Mafuba, even they not entirely comparable.

Also, what about the Spirit Kikoho? That move is Tien using all his remaning energy, so of couse it kills you.
The Mafuba just kills you if you don't have enough life force to seal this stronger guy than you.
Tien have enough energy trought.
 
Couldn't Kaido just use a shockwave from his Haoshoku and destroy the Mafuba's recipient? He has future sight and would know about this technique beforehand.

Would this help? cause they would be erasing there presence completely and would make it difficult for kaido to detect them and know there intentions

Kami would hide his presence completely making him unoticable and other z warriors would be distracting him so that kami can land mafuba on him

All this "concentration" they don't need to sit down and meditate. They need to be in the right state of mind aka calm, and that's only for Kenbun

The mf can be drunk and use all types of haki

I'm saying that being annoyed doesn't constitute for being "not calm".
You can be annoyed and use kenbunshoku.
Luffy was using future sight after getting beat, stabbed, poisoned, stomped on, everything

They have others ways to make the Mafuba work.
Like, they can use Solar flare to hit Kaitou, or someone can just block the attacks before it arrives on Kami or whoever is doing.

And theres 3 people there who can use, if one fails, the other can immediatily pick it up, and use.
Also, they can just blast Kaidou a lot, until he so busy defending himself, that the other person can use the Mafuba to take him.
