Olorin nodded, ready to follow Elis
Elis smiled, now moving to find Phares with Olorin in tow.
"...." Charlotte said nothing for a moment.

"...I was angry too, kid." Charlotte said quietly.

"...You think I didn't want to wring the neck of every Cultist in that base? For what they did to me? For what they did to HER?!" Charlotte said. Her voice cracked for a moment, her hands curling into tight fists.

"......" She took a deep breath.

"...But we...we can't. Put our personal feelings...into our missions like that...kid. We...we can't..."

"...We can't throw our lives away. We...owe it to the people we've lost. To keep living..." Charlotte muttered.
"...I get that, Charlotte." Seraphina said, breathing out. "That's the reason I'm apologizing in the first place..."

"....Good....good." Charlotte said softly.

"....I..." Charlotte trailed off.

"....I care about you, kid. That's why I've been such a...hardass about all this. I...don't want you to get in over your head."
"...Alright, Charlotte." Seraphina said, "I'll just... stay back next time. I'll try to control myself... somehow..."
He blinked and turned toward her before sighing and saying. “Oh Elis. I’m doing alright. I’m a bit frustrated but I’m more so worried about the plan going forward.”
"Alright... I'm... just trying to see how everyone was doing. Especially you since I know you kinda keep getting screwed over whenever you get the chance to actually... be stealthy and the like. I just wanted to make sure you weren't to frustrated." Elis said, gripping Olorin's hand tighter.

(Now time for Seraphina to try and smooth things over with Kentoria-)

"T-take care... Phares..." Olorin murmured, gripping Elis's hand tighter too

Phares laughed a little and said, “Yeah fate seems to love messing with me like that. Although I really do want to develop my general combat skills. Being a stealth specialist is good and all but it doesn’t help much outside of sneak attacks.”

Charlotte slowly breathed out. Nodding.

"...Alright. I'm going to hold you to that." Charlotte said.

"...Thank you. For...apologizing. It doesn't change much but...I appreciate it."
"I know it doesn't mean much... I'm just... trying to smooth shit over as best I can so I don't really get put into a coma..." Seraphina said with a hollow chuckle.
Phares laughed a little and said, “Yeah fate seems to love messing with me like that. Although I really do want to develop my general combat skills. Being a stealth specialist is good and all but it doesn’t help much outside of sneak attacks.”
"T-take care... Phares..." Olorin murmured, gripping Elis's hand tighter too
"Yeah... What Olorin said. And if you want to improve your general combat skills you can probably visit Adrian or Kentoria... You still have those daggers I made for you, yeah? They aren't dagger specialists but I'm sure they could help you out since they also use bladed weapons..." Elis said with a smile.

"...No. I haven't. I... don't much fancy being electrocuted..." Seraphina murmured.
Brownie understood the point in the words of both Charlotte and Seraphina, She would have to fix things with Elis, tho better not now, since the girl(Elis) was likely to try to hurt her intentionally or not, even if is minor Damage, The Black Beast remembered that she tried to kill him, although well, are things that happen in life ¯\(ツ)

"...No. I haven't. I... don't much fancy being electrocuted..." Seraphina murmured.
Charlotte chuckled slightly. Though, like Seraphina's, it was hollow.

"...Me neither, kid. Just keep some distance from her." Charlotte said, shaking her head.

"...Elis was already in a...bad spot before all this happened. And that last **** up of yours probably gave her a panic attack. She needs an apology as much as I do." Charlotte said.

"I know that..." Seraphina said, glancing at the trail of charred footsteps in the ground born from the extreme heat of Elis's electricity.

"I'll... try and see what I can do and try not to get flash fried... She likes weapons, right...? Maybe if I get her a cool gun or something she'll ease up... No, then it'll seem like I'm trying to hard..." Seraphina mumbled to herself, clearly thinking hard on this.

"...Don't think this is the type of thing you can smooth over with gifts, kid." Charlotte said, shaking her head.

"...You should just be straightforward with her. She'll probably appreciate the apology, if nothing else."

"...Stop calling me kid. My name is Seraphina. Tarak did the same thing... calling me 'Small One'... Why the hell is it so hard for people to call each other by they're names...? No, don't be petty now Sera, now isn't the time... Just focus on smoothing things over..." Seraphina thought to herself before nodding.

"Alright, I get what you mean... Not like I know shit about making guns anyway so I wouldn't have anything to give her..." She said, breathing out.

The little girl? (referring to Olorin) ever since he saw her, Brownie has always had the feeling that he would never get along with this Olorin, too shy to even approach him, and with that his guardian Taladar(?), he would threaten him, simply because The Black Beast was too epic to the mind of the Girl

Phares laughed a little and said, “Yeah fate seems to love messing with me like that. Although I really do want to develop my general combat skills. Being a stealth specialist is good and all but it doesn’t help much outside of sneak attacks.”
(Poke.)
Charlotte nodded.

"Also...Olorin will probably be with her, if you approach her now. They were together last time I saw them." Charlotte said.

"...Just letting you know, you may have to deal with both of them at once."
"Alright... I'll... see what I can do... Thanks, Charlotte..." Seraphina said, turning to Brownie who was on her shoulder for a second before sighing and turning back to the charred footsteps, walking away.

"Yeah... What Olorin said. And if you want to improve your general combat skills you can probably visit Adrian or Kentoria... You still have those daggers I made for you, yeah? They aren't dagger specialists but I'm sure they could help you out since they also use bladed weapons..." Elis said with a smile.
He nodded and said, “Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind. Anyway I’ll see you guys later.”

"Alright, Phares. I'll see you late-" Elis was cut off by a loud BOOM noise coming from place where they had previously got the vehicle they used for the last failed mission, the sound echoing throughout the base, which was accompanied by the sound of liquid dripping onto the ground and slowly pooling.

"E-Eep-!" Elis yelped as she heard this noise, purple electricity crackling around her as she was immediately on guard.

Charlotte shot up, cursing under her breath.

"...Damn it...did they find us?" Charlotte murmured. She expanded her Spatial Awareness, trying to find out what had caused the explosion.

"Oi kid, make yourself scarce!" Charlotte called out to the Seraphina, assuming she was still in earshot.

Tarak looked up, having begun to read one of his master's tomes again.

"....Cultists?" Tarak asked blankly. Slowly he began to move, his bones creaking slightly as he walked towards where he sensed the noise.

Adrian and the grey-haired soldier were the first on the scene, Adrian immediately drawing Dragon Slayer as the soldier held her rifle.

"Identify yourself!" She called out, her finger placed on the trigger.

A man covered in blood, holding what seemed to be a corpse, or well, it was alive because it was still twitching, walked. The supposed corpse was wearing what seemed to be robes...

"Don't even recognize me? Makes sense, after your failure of a mission..." The blood-covered figure said, "Take a guess at who I am..."

Charlotte entered the room next, checking to ensure that Seraphina wasn't nearby. Assuming she wasn't, she turned to face the man. Her gaze instinctively lowered to the twitching corpse in his hands.

"...What the hell do you want." Charlotte said bluntly. Her hands clenched into fists, ready to spring at a moment's notice. Inwardly, she shuffled through the geometric shapes she had memorized, trying to figure out if she had sensed him in the base.

Tarak moved into the room, gripping his club tightly as he stared at the strange man.

(Yknow what, **** it, not waiting lol.)

"Jesus christ... Look- It's me!" The man wiped some of the blood from his face, revealing a mask that covered half of his face.

"Mask..." Adrian said, slowly lowering Dragon Slayer. "Where the hell have you been?"

"Doing some work." The Masked Man said, breathing out in relief that he wasn't going to be swarmed by the entire group as Valkiria stopped right before entering the room, closing her eyes.

"You hid your voice well..." Kentoria muttered "What kind of work?" she asked, while Talandar just turned to begin making his way to Olorin to let her and Elis know in person it was fine
