Stars of Cinder • RP Thread (ON HIATUS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)

"No, he still has several years to go before he is able to do that at will, his skin prevents him from releasing the contained radiation in that way" Rex said although he laughed a little at the end.

From the crowd emerged one of the Krieg soldiers, who walked up to the Stars of Cinder.

"Hello. I am PX-140. Please allow me to escort you to lodgings, and in a few hours, we may discuss a battle plan for our next expedition. Your help is greatly appreciated here. Praise Eternity." The armed girl said, bowing courteously, acknowledging the clear and apparent wavering mental state of a few members.
"I... I'll try..." Olorin murmured after a pause, wanting to get deeper into the ship, probably into her bedroom to eat
Elis led her to her bedroom, gently laying Olorin on the bed. "So, what do you want to eat...?" She asked softly.

"Well, nice to meet you, PX-140 and I hope I can do whatever it takes to help you defend this planet against heretics" Rex said trying to be as friendly as possible with the artificial human.

"Very well." Kentoria said, bowing as well

"I.. I don't know... can you make... Pizza...?" Olorin asked while a cleaning process to get rid of the radiation in the room took place

Phares nodded to the woman while fiddling with the charms on his necklace. “That’ll be helpful,” he says.

Adrian nodded and sighed as Kirby just looked around, scratching her head.

The grey-haired woman led the group through one of the many, many passage ways of the base, holding her rifle tightly as the abundant number of masked soldiers got to work. She led them all to a large bedroom, which was, to say the least, not in the best shape. The abundance of cracks and broken floor made it seem as though the place was about to fall apart at any moment. Other than that, there were multiple bunk beds lined up next to each other on each of the four walls and... pits, if they wished to relieve themselves.

"Forgive us for being unable to provide better housing. Times are dire." XP-140 said, bowing in seeming apology despite her steely complexion.
"I... I don't know..." Olorin murmured, beginning to undo her suit, which seemed to dematerialize into a white disk
"I can prepare it for you both. Perhaps you should engage in your daily cuddling session to calm down while I work." Timcanpy suggested.

"T-Tim..." Elis said with a blush, sighing as she sat next to Olorin.

Charlotte glanced at the room for a moment, before turning away, shaking her head.

“…I’m gonna go on a…walk. You can reach me when I’m needed…” Charlotte muttered. She began to move, slowly walking back towards the area they came from.

"Olorin's probably gonna freak out and try to fix the place..." Kentoria muttered, not really minding the wear and tear of the place, while Talandar seemed neutral as well

"T-Timcanpy..." Olorin murmured with a blush

"It reallys needs to be next to each other...there are some members of the group that would prefer their activities....private...."

He was talking about Elis and Olorin since they spend a lot of time together in their room

"Eh, I don't really care." Adrian said, "I'd rather just get to discussing our battle plan..."

"Do not worry, I will be at a moderate pace so that you may cuddle as much as you like." Timcanpy said, bowing.
"So would I."Kentoria said

"...mrph..." Olorin murmured embarassedly

Valkiria left the room, just breathing out so that she could go to check on Charlotte.

"Do not worry, we'll be doing that now. We only have around 45 minutes before the next battle, after all...." The grey-haired soldier said, nodding at Kentoria and Adrian.
"...mrph..." Olorin murmured embarassedly
"Well..." Elis moved to Olorin so that she could hug her softly, wanting this even if she was embarrassed.

"Good." Kentoria responded with a nod

Olorin jumped in her skin as Elis touched her, still in a state of a bit of a panic even if she didn't know it a s he breathing became uneven again as she moved to hug Elis gently

Charlotte walked through the base aimlessly, staring at the ground. She’d lost…everything. Not just her sister, but anything that could be associated with her. Anything that could remind her of the life she once lived.

“…..” Charlotte kept walking, taking small, shallow breaths. She didn’t weep, for she had no tears left to cry. She didn’t wail, for she had no strength left to scream. And so…she walked, her thoughts a hazy fog of sadness and despair. She didn’t blame Timcanpy. Or The people who shot them. She didn’t even blame the calamities. She blamed herself. She had left the gun behind. Just like she left the suit behind….

Just like she left…her behind

Charlotte stopped walking, her legs nearly giving out as she collapsed against a nearby wall. She slowly curled her knees towards her chest, her eyes staring blankly at the ground.

"This habit of moving away from the group just to collapse on the ground is getting old..." Valkiria said as she walked up to Charlotte and grabbed the woman by the collar.

"Are you feeling any better, Olorin...?" Elis asked.

"Are you feeling any better, Olorin...?" Elis asked.
"That it is..." Skarr muttered as he sighed to himself

"Y-yeah... kind of..." Olorin murmured to Elis while Relama sighed in relief

Charlotte slowly looked up at the women. She blinked, before pushing her away.

“…leave me alone, Valkira…” She said quietly. She took a shaky breath, trying to steady herself onto her feet.

"No." Valkiria said, "Come back to the room." She said. She knew she and Charlotte still didn't have the best relationship, but, she wasn't the type of person to sit around while someone was suffering regardless.
"Y-yeah... kind of..." Olorin murmured to Elis while Relama sighed in relief
"Alright..." Elis murmured, sighing in relief as well before blushing.

"Has... anyone ever told you that your cute...?"

"...I...I just need to be..alone for a while." Charlotte said, breathing out. She stabilized herself on her feet somewhat, before slowly moving away.

"...Just let me walk....please."

"You walk all the time, Charlotte." Valkiria said, "You isolate yourself all the time, you collapse all the time, you say nothing all the time... I can tell just by looking, Charlotte... I'm not going to let you go out and mentally torture yourself when you have people here to help you. I'm not letting go." Valkiria said, genuine concern in her voice.
"Wh-what...?" Olorin murmured as her breathing quickened
"Your... cute... No, beautiful, even..." Elis said, hugging Olorin even tighter.

"I- um- You- um-" Olorin began completely stumbling on her words as her heart rate could be felt by Elis now as Olorin tried to hug Elis tighter

"...Why do you care?" Charlotte said quietly. She breathed out, her lip quivering slightly as she stared at the women.

"...We don't know each other, Valkiria. It shouldn't matter to you..." She said. Her voice wasn't hostile or argumentive. It was desperate. She wanted to isolate, wanted to be alone, even if it wasn't healthy.

"Do I need a reason to care? You don't need a reason to want to help someone in need! And besides, I want to know you, that's the reason I was so nervous about approaching you before!" Valkiria said firmly.
"I- um- You- um-" Olorin began completely stumbling on her words as her heart rate could be felt by Elis now as Olorin tried to hug Elis tighter
"S-Sorry, was that out of nowhere...? I was trying to lighten the mood, heh..." Elis said with a chuckle.

"I've really seen worse" Rex said

"or well I've dreamed worse" he thought that to himself, he had had a dream or rather horrible nightmares, of people being in forced Jobs, Slaves and living in absolute misery, for them this would be paradise.

"...I...I'm not sure anyone can..."

"I am merely suggesting that better lodging could've been provided, that is all." The grey-haired soldier said with a tone that displayed what seemed to be genuine, at least.
"B-b-b-b-but I'm not beautiful...!" Olorin exclaimed
"Yes, you are!" Elis exclaimed back, clearly thinking she was, indeed, beautiful.

"...I...I'm not sure anyone can..."
"I mean, since when did you have a doctorate in human psychology? I mean I don't either, but I'm still gonna try and help you." Valkiria said bluntly.

"B-b-b-b-b-b-b-b- but...!" Olorin exclaimed in response, her heartbeat getting too fast

"....I...." Charlotte trailed off.

"...I-I just...m-miss her...so much..." Charlotte murmured. She stopped trying to walk, slowly leaning her back against the wall.
"I get that, Charlotte... But if you keep running off and isolating yourself you'll never get your revenge." Valkiria said, "This isn't the time to sulk..."
"B-b-b-b-b-b-b-b- but...!" Olorin exclaimed in response, her heartbeat getting too fast
"A-Alright, let's calm down now, your heart sounds like it's about to explode...!" Elis exclaimed in worry.

"I get that, Charlotte... But if you keep running off and isolating yourself you'll never get your revenge." Valkiria said, "This isn't the time to sulk..."
"...Y-you don't...understand..." Charlotte said quietly.

"....I-I'm the one who...left her behind Valkiria. I'm the reason she was caught up in...in..." She trailed off, her body trembling.

"....It's...it's my fault..." She said softly.
