RP • A Country Divided Thread

As Cain heard Malak's name her third eye went bloodshot, causing her to freeze in place as she glared at the demon, ceasing her attack.

"...Malak..."
 
Dhei rolls 2 twice in a ball position when he landed on the ground from missing Magnus and stops his movement by sticking his claws to the ground, causing sparks from the contact

"Stop running you damn coward!"

He summons 4 chains and launches them at Magnus, to restrain his arms and legs, helping Goliath in return too for him to get the punch on him easier
 
"Archdemons tend to know about and are enemies of eachother, yes. Why do you think I said "The enemy of my enemy"?" Magnus said, not seeming to care about Goliath preparing to attack nor the chans rushing at him which did apsolutely nothing to him, seeming to act as normal chains that shattered when Magnus moved

"Why... did that... happen...?" Palaria asked, leaning heavily into Mark

"I'd say a defense system Malak put in place to keep any other demons from getting their hands on the shards of his damned ring, but I could be wrong about that." Magnus said

"So basically you'll help us to your own ends." Terevion said
 
The woman had donned an armor, one that seemed to have just magically appeared. She fired off several rounds of bullets toward Magnus. All the while, Para used her Sleep Manipulation to put the enemy to sleep as Kaminos launched a barrage of punches toward Magnus in his Merciless Mentality, each one negating durability as his heated shockwaves function as a second impact to his blows.
 
"Correct, so we have to keep the woman away from demons that aren't directly aligned with Malak that won't flip the switch on their auras. And by the way, just call me Magus, my real name is a bit too long to use in conversation or really anything else." Magnus said, turning his head to Goliath

"Because if I wanted that shard I'd have outright attacked her instead of trying to figure out what was wrong."@

"Okay... that does make sense..." Palaria said, quickly recovering now

"You really expect me to trust you?!"

After saying this he saw Cain frozen in place and went on all limbs like animals towards her, till he stood on his legs only as he got to her

"Cain are you alright? Say something please"
 
Cain simply turned away and let out a corrupted sigh, violently scratching her head as she tried to suppress the memories that erupted within her mind at hearing Malak's name.

"...Malak...Malak...Malak...Malak..." She murmured before stopping.

"...OK, Magnus." She said.
 
"Good, now that that's settled the question is what to do next, if your going to civilisation I'll be watching from afar while invisible, as I don't think a ten foot tall archdemon would be very welcome, fear not though, I can communicate through telepathy." Magnus said

"I think going back to the city does sound good..." Palaria murmured before turning to Mark and smiling

"Stay in contact all the time." Terevion said roughly

"I never planned not to."
 
All have agreed to trust him, but he wasnt going that easy on this one, yet there was no choice but to let him off for now

"Tch.."

Reverting to human form, Dhei gives a quick glance to Cain, earlier it seemed like she was dealing with some mental struggle

"Well, this has been interesting," The armored woman said, walking away, "However, I am very confused by what is going on here and think it would be for the best if I get back on track..."

She eyes a few of the artifacts that were left around as she walks away.

"Maybe I could- nah, that would possibly put way too much power in their hands..." She said to herself as she looked at the artifacts.
 
Robin more glad the fight was avoided. “What is your plan. We are trying to stop a demon from destabilizing the kingdoms.” He say staring at the armored woman.
 
(But I think your confusing Horror demons with Fantasy demons, cause it is a trope for horror demons to have their true name be a weakness)

"I am more then willing to help you then, maybe we can even kill Malak for good, as for the hybrids question my true name is-(intermission) KalahariMarkarasa-" Magnus continued

"Just... stop..." Palaria said, chuckling at the ridiculously long name before shaking herself

"I think we should collect these artifacts for later use." Terevion said, Magnus already storing them within a dimensional storage
 
"Money doesn't grow on trees, it grows on nobles." Terevion commented, Palaria looking at Mark next to him and smiled reassuringly, like she was saying she was alright
