RP • A Country Divided Thread

"Sentient artifacts. Never thought i would see these here." he said.

"Anyway if you want someone to use you guys i would be happy." he said as he took the music ones
 
Kaminos grabbed one of the artifacts, observing it and trying to get an idea of what it was. Para then grabbed an artifact of her own, looking at the one she had grabbed.

(Do we describe them, or do you?)
 
Robin walks over to a book but based on the way it is set it seems to be an artifact itself curiousity got the better of him. He dusts off it's leather cover archery magic it says (I'll fix the profile later). What are the odds he wondered but why would some advice book get put here this question leads him to open it.
 
Alexandra took without paying attention to others, she looked like a girl in a candy store, she took a complete set of armor, a scythe, a crossbow, and even a vase.


Mark walked until he found something that caught his attention, it was one ring to rule them all and then there were two twin Desert Eagle pistols, both of different colors, one was black and the other was green.
 
Palaria followed Mark to the area, smiling as she saw the ring

"By the way can you effectively use those guns?" Palaria asked, wondering how good Mark was with firearms
 
Reading the book it seems to be rather empty he swears that there were more pages then the inside of the book should be able to hold some blank, gave random vague advice, historical context, pictures, along with what appear to be spells. "Interesting." He says out loud.
 
"Lets test you guys out" he said as he looked at the artifacts. They were a set of musical instruments, a guitar, flute, violin, trumpet and trumpet.

"What song should i play? Ah." he said remembering a song his father played to him. His father heard the song from his interaction with the youkais.

"Lets try the violin first. Haven`t used a violin in a while." he said as he started playing the song.



The artifacts seemed to enhanced his buffs and give it longer range as song his magic was affecting everyone in the building unkowningly boasting them

"My father loved getting hunt, he wanted me to learn each of his tricks and the maintenance of a firearm" said Mark, he had not carried one because he did not have to, now he does.

(Palaria's green eyes represent a gun and Mark's black eyes represent the other)


(and because using an image of Jackie without a gun is an insult)

"A symbol of us huh... I think, just by the voice coming from the staff, so let's explore, maybe I'll find something to represent you in these grand halls... but it'd be impossible to replace you..." Palaria murmured, walking toward a very peculiar door in the corner or the room
 
Robin closes the book and looks for a melee weapon ever since he used the fire lance he had that on his mind a spear isn't bad but still isn't the best melee option given he already had a bow and arrow.
 
Para's artifact was a book of riddles and spells. It hovered around her, making itself right at home with the mage.

Kaminos looked at his artifact: a ring. He removed one of the gauntlets before sliding the ring on. Putting the gauntlet on over it, he was still wondering what it did.

Cain held The First Blade in her hand, the handle violently vibrating in her hand with excitement and fervor as Cain looked down at it, smiling a bit. She looked around the area and found herself an ornamental dagger with various runes carved into it, the blade seeming to be made of the same material Cain's signature weapon was made of as well...

"...Cain... want this..."

The First Blade responded to her wishes, the other dagger being broken into pure energy and and absorbed into Cain's weapon, the blade's vibrations ceasing as the edge became sharper and the blade became thicker, Cain letting out a weird excited demonic screech.
 
Dhei would get fixated over some metallic claw gauntlets sitting further away from the items of the rest of the group, he picked them up and took a close look on them, he would see that they were made of different types of alloys, that essentially made them highly durable to blunt force and piercing damage if striked

"Hm..."

Afterwards he put them on his hands, feeling the magical enhancements they had surging through them, Dhei would decide testing the gauntlets later, though he had some ideas on how they could work after analizing them earlier

He would get back to the group then and hears Cain excited demon screeching with that happyness in her eyes, holding his mouth to hide his reaction while muttering

"She is so cute..."
 
"Dont want her to think that...im....weird..."

Tells himself as he walks some distance from those with enhanced hearing, Dhei then wonders while adjusting the gauntlets better

"What happened last night....all i remember was looking up and....Cain...was sitting next to me?...all else is blank, gotta ask about it later"
 
Alexandra kept taking things until after a while she realized that she does not have enough space for everything to be discarded, so she stopped taking things since she knew that her brother would not help her to continue taking things and that the others would probably prevent her from taking more.

Mark would walk behind Palaria until he found a mirror decorated with gold, the mirror probably didn't reflect him because it always drains the light around him and on second thought he needed to know how he was dressed sometimes so he took it and absorbed it into his pocket dimension

Dhei would turn around and get a bit surprised to see her nearby him

"Agh! Oh Cain, its just you...."

He would put left hand behind his neck before his attempt at asking

"You know...what happened...last night? I know only till the moment you were sitting close by and then i have no memory after that till i woke up"

"You... tried... kill... Robin. While drunk." Cain murmured, not seeming to bothered by the fact he did. She didn't like Robin anyway.
 
"Oh just that?...Thats a relief, i thought i did other things that might have bothered the others....or you for the matter....normally i dont do anything like what i did last night, unless im confident about them"

Declares to her regarding the events that occured without knowing he also acted to her as he did

Palaria pushed on the door, surprisingly opening it without resistance, peering inside to see what she was looking for, a shadowy staff she grabbed ahold of, it automatically merged with the staff she was holding and twisted the gem to be half light blue and half yellow, the new voice in her head sounding complete

"Now what should we do, Master?" The voice asked

"I'm sure you'll find out soon enough," Shalethorn responded

"This is getting out of hand, now there are two..." Palaria said as she went back to Mark, smiling
 
"Not really, but my head is gonna be real crowded if each shard has its own mind and soul in it..." Palaria murmured, her expression was readable as being a little exasperated but also happy to be with Mark
 
(In part him being a method actor part my lack of self control and minimal power sets I wasn’t expecting everyone to have some extreme form of trauma that makes his attempts at using his tricks mostly ineffective also that was 2 times if memory serves.)


Robin attempts to pick up a short sword but meets resistance letting go. “Such a shame.” He says looking at it.

After barely Cain say his name. “Sorry.” He say. “Now how do we prevent someone dangerous coming here after us.”
