Ragnarök-RP Thread

David glanced over at the direction of the screams, his body tensing.

“…The hell?” David muttered. He took a few steps toward the noise, using his enhanced eyesight in hopes of seeing what was going on.

“…Do you sense any corruption, Road?” Masayoshi asked, glancing at the woman.

“…in Atlantis, one of the knights we encountered had his mind and body altered by the substance. Perhaps…the same thing could happen here?” She said.

"I guess as long as we stay out of the way so as not to attract attention, when we know what it is, maybe we can take it to a separate place, if it's what we're looking for, maybe under us" Jack said, He had noticed the sewer system due to the fact that they passed through a manhole cover, deducing what it was for instantly

"I agree with David, yeah. Either way, it benefits us to check it out." Kiara said, crossing her arms.

Rory shrugged, "I could use my Silver Aura to heal anyone injured, if it isn't corruption.. It's invisible to the naked eye, so it may work without us drawing attention." She muttered.

Gabriel sighed, and just ran along with the group.

Okita looked down at her feather bracelet, holding it to her chest. She wasn't particularly... enthused, by the situation, but, she knew the potential importance. "Do it for her, Okita... Come back to her..." She thought to herself, simply breathing out and walking.

Imperius was scowling, his large and muscular build running like that was definitely not exactly that of a normal human, it was like he was a soldier running to the battlefield

Raviathon ran to the best of her ability while still keeping to human speed, she was extremely nervous, but she was able to slip into her sharp state of mind, her eyes focusing and her expression changing

Yharon ran just like a normal human surprisingly, likely due to being among them for awhile, but he wasn't exactly happy about this either

Terevion was still running to catch up, he was scowling himself but didn't slow down at all

Rhongomyniad ran as well, breathing in and out deeply, trying not to go faster even if she tried not to get attached to humans or people in general, she still wasn't a person who simply didn't care

David had already begun moving at this point, breaking into a swift jog as they headed toward the source of the noise. His legs tensed uncomfortably, the man unused to forcing himself to run so slowly, but he was calm enough to understand running any faster would attract attention.

Masayoshi ran beside the group, taking off her heels and holding them in one hand as she moved. She could easily balance herself with them on, but figured she'd look less conspicuous this way, knowing it wasn't exactly normal to run in such footwear.

"...What is the plan if this is a corrupted person?" Masayoshi asked, glancing at Road.

Okita glanced at around in confusion, perplexed as to why the group was moving so slowly, before simply realizing that moving at speed many times faster than sound was... definitely conspicuous. She sighed, simply moving at the pace of an average human as best she could, clearly unused to restricting her speed to such a level.

Kiara seemed to be having a rather hard time moving at a normal pace, grunting uncomfortably as she tensed up. The girl had never truly had cause for restricting herself, so, this was clearly not something she enjoyed.

Rory didn't really run at all, holding her son gently against her chest. At best, her movements could be described as unmotivated jogging, but otherwise, if it wasn't corruption, she wasn't to interested about whoever was hurt.
"...What is the plan if this is a corrupted person?" Masayoshi asked, glancing at Road.
Road breathed out, "No idea. Figured we could pretend to be part of the local paramedics, get the victim out of there before corruption spreads..."

Eventually the group arrived to the scene, the smell of blood, iron, and smoke having already become thick in the air. The devastation of the incident could already be seen from far away... The festivities had long since died out as dozens upon dozens of injured were escorted, while it seemed that only a few died, maybe around... six, from what could be estimated, it was quite hard to tell due to the... "deformities" that had been caused to the mass of corpses.

Rory looked down at the corpses, breathing out. Softly, her Silver Aura extended from her body, spreading over to the corpses from afar.

"...I could stich them back together in a... physical sense. But since their already dead, my Aura can't restore their minds or their uh... souls, even if their bodies would be healthy. Better bet would be trying to use Masayoshi's Time Magic to reverse time on the bodies." Rory muttered.

Masayoshi breathed out, taking a step closer to the corpse. David nodded at her, slowly getting out of her way.

“…I can do that…hypothetically. But…we’d need to figure out a way to do so without attracting attention…and carrying around corpses would certainly seem…suspicious.” Masayoshi said.

Lance hesitated for a moment, before raising his hand.

“…I can create a small illusion over us, if that could work.” Lance offered quietly.

“We’ll appear…invisible, to normal perception.”

Gabriel breathed out, noticing Masayoshi's clear and apparent stress.

"Better, less stressful idea... Instead of spending all day pondering it, we settle down, get some rest, worry about it tomorrow or overnight? Maybe Masayoshi could make some clones and have them scout the area during the night so we don't miss anything... If not, any of us could simply expand our senses a few city blocks and keep watch to make sure no... corruption surfaces." She offered.
