Ragnarök-RP Thread

Kiara would trot throughout the area, looking through a multitude of doors to find a place to train. She visited multiple dimensions, looking for a place that had weights capable of actually pushing her without David's gravity. As she searched, she would consistently practice her breathing, softly trembling as she walked.

"Calm down, Kiara... Calm down." She thought to herself as she stopped at one of the doors, following the smell of iron and smoke. She gently placed her hand on the knob and opened the door, moving into the dimension.

"Calm... down."

As she entered the dimension, she looked up, realizing that she had entered a gym with similar construction to the one that she and David had worked out in. The differences were found in the fact that the weights were far, far larger, and the number of facilities was far more plentiful than in the gym that she and David had trained in. Assuming that something like this was found in the Real World, Kiara thought that only really hardcore athletes would come to places like this. She shook her head.

"Haa...." Kiara breathed out once more. "Welp, everyday is leg day I guess..."

Kiara moved through the facility, moving to find a sizeable barbell. The barbell squat technique that David had taught her flashed throughout her mind. She remembered it in abnormal detail. She remembered how exactly he gripped the barbell, how the bones and muscles in his hand moved, contracted, how the blood in his body moved throughout his body, to his legs and arms. She remembered the feeling of it within her body, how to rearrange her musculature to imitate his movement, how to breathe to adjust her blood flow, everything down to the last cell, down to the last atom and quark. She remembered it all.

Kiara, after a few minutes of walking, would locate the weight that she was looking for, or well, she'd locate the weight but with enough weight. To put it lightly, she wanted to go bigger than usual, so she was moving to find the barbell with the heaviest weights she could find within the facility. If she had to put her current lifting strength into numbers, she estimated that she could lift 50,000 to 100,000 tons at this point, so she searched for something around 5-10x that. And she did.

The barbell itself wasn't very large, in fact, from a glance Kiara could tell that the iron that formed the weights had been compressed immensely, meaning it possessed far more weight than one would assume simply from looking at it. If she had to guess, just from putting her hands on it, it was about 9x her current lifting capacity, which, in honesty, was perfect for what she was looking for. Kiara shook her head, beginning to pump herself up.

"Alright, let's do this..."

She would move under the weight, which was still propped up on the weight rack so she didn't have to lift it up just yet. She got into position, breathing in, and breathing out, her heart pumping blood throughout her body at an optimal rate, heating up her body and causing her muscles to instinctively tighten. This process took around 2-3 seconds as she situated her grip on the bar, once again breathing in and out as she then situated her footing, as she began to try and lift it.

Obviously, she was unsuccessful in her endeavors to lift the barbell. It was far to heavy for her to lift it off of the rack with her current strength, causing her to stop exerting force, taking a short breather. Her hair drooped over her eyes a bit as she stopped exerting force, standing up straight once more.

"Haaa.... Alright, one more time."

Kiara thought to herself, before bending down once more, placing her hands on the bar again. Repeating her physical preparations once more, she once again attempted to lift the barbell. This time, she was able to lift it a bit off the rack, allowing her to gently roll it off the rack. Once she had gotten it off the rack, though, the full weight was immediately exerted onto her, causing her to nearly fall down.

"O-Ooh...!! Alright...! This was a bad idea...!"

Kiara visibly struggled to lift the barbell upward, her perfect stance beginning to collapse as she nearly fell to her side. Before she could completely tumble over, though, she shifted her weight ever so slightly, tightening her core as she kept herself from tilting over as she planted her feet into the ground. Kiara's face went red as she breathed out.

"Push... Push... Just like your giving birth again... Ugh, I don't wanna remember that..."

Kiara would very, very slowly begin to push herself upward, gently lifting the weight. Her muscles shifted, compressed themselves, and tightened as she moved, standing up straight as she completed a single rep. Her legs trembled, but, she was slowly getting used to the weight, shifting and tightening her muscles to make sure that her stance remained straight and true. Saying nothing, Kiara would begin to lower herself to complete another rep, trembling as she did so, eventually bending her knees optimally. Her back was straight, and her butt was pointing outward. Everything was going as it should. Slowly, she moved upward, her chest and her arse moving back into position at the same speed, completely in tandem.

She would soon complete another rep as she continued to get used to the immense weight that the barbell exerted onto her, her face still red from exertion. She breathed in, and then breathed out, in, and out... As she worked out, continuing to complete slow, arduous reps, she could feel herself calming down, drifting away.

"Haaa... Haa..."

In a way, it made her forget her problems, working out, that is. In this moment, she wasn't focusing on anything else but improving herself, making herself stronger, more attractive, etc. She was working towards an ideal, a better Kiara... There was no need to feel bad.

"Ha... Haa.."

She wanted to feel more powerful, more in control of herself. She didn't want to be in a state of mind in which her emotions could dominate her, where they could make her feel worthless, hold her back from improving herself, or from being with her friends or family. She wanted to be calm. To be in control.

"I... am... fine."

She was fine. She knew that she was fine. There was no reason to be worried about her, or to comfort her, because she was completely fine. She had everything under control. She was happy.

"I'm... fine."

And as she continued to complete her reps, continued to train her muscles, she knew that was true. She knew that, right? She had to be happy. She had to be calm... She couldn't cause anymore problems. These Lostbelts were nothing! They couldn't bring her down anymore. She'd get stronger, and stronger, and they'd all get out of this fine.

"Fine..."

They'd all be fine. She knew that.

"...We'll... be... fine."

Completely, and utterly fine.

"Then I will have to increase my speed and power to overcome his hardening" Griffin thought, as he visibly struggled, he completely covered his body with his aura thus reducing the damage taken from David's attack

(Guess the reference)
(Idk lol)

Seeing that Griffith had covered his body with aura, David began to press the offensive, hoping to break through the man’s guard. As soon as Griffith was slammed into the ground, David let go of his leg, rotating his body in mid-air as he pointed his knee down at the man’s chest. Assuming he didn’t dodge in time, David would fall on top of him, delivering a fearsome knee drop onto his ribs.

David immediately got to his feet, before launching himself towards Griffin, refusing to let the man open up the distance. Once within melee range, he pushed his arm forward, hooking it underneath Griffin's left armpit and trapping the limb within his hold. Should this be successful, he would immediately rotate his body, lifting Griffin off his feet, before slamming him onto the floor.

"So... Do you wish to remain in this dimension or would you rather go somewhere else...?" Okita asked her beloved.

Gabriel moved very slowly in her healing as to not clash with Adam's corruption which had thoroughly seeped into the wounds, only now working to ease Raviathon's pain.
Raviathon grumbled quietly in pain, it was being slowly eased however
(Poke)

Griffin quickened his pace, bent his body in a supernatural way and dodged David's grappling attempts, he generated a wall of energy between the two, even if the fighter destroyed the barrier, then Griffin would be gaining distance.
David was indeed stopped by Griffin's barrier, the man momentarily blocked by the wall of energy. Yet it was only a moment. In the instant after the barrier was constructed, David reared his head back, before launching it forward, violently headbutting the wall in an attempt to shatter it completely. Should this be successful, David would condense his muscles for a moment, before launching himself towards Griffin at high speeds, rapidly closing the distance between the two men. Twisting his body in mid-air, he pointed his feet towards Griffin, delivering a mighty drop kick onto his chest, the built-up momentum further increasing the damage.

(I don't really have much to work, for make something I'd like more than just "Dodge by moving his body to the left")

"Damn" When David broke the barrier, Griffin increased in response squeezed his being like a slime to extract more power and speed dodging David's attack, moving his body to the other side, out of reach of David's kick, his reflexes to the maximum to continue dodging the big guy's attacks if he somehow manages to alter his momentum in the air, looking for the perfect angle to counterattack

David twisted himself in mid-air, roughly slamming his feet against the ground to stop his forward momentum.

“…He’s a slippery one…but why ain’t he attackin’?” David thought. Wondering if the man was planning something, David stopped his assault, shifting into a wide stance. Moving his hand, he slapped it roughly against his own chest, as if to provoke the man into attacking him.

Griffin looked at David's actions, he expected David to try to motivate him into an attack but he didn't think it would be so clear, well what can he do, he accelerated at a higher speed than before, both dodge in this and Kiara's battle has increased his battle instinct to the point of outdoing himself moments before, moving in a coordinated and random manner for when Grue approaches to David, he unleashed a series of quick, agile strikes from his right hand each with unearthly fluidity as he waited for David counterattack or defense with his left, if he managed to push back even an inch step, grue would throw a foot sweep to unbalance David.

Griffin's attacks impacted David's body heavily, the fluid strikes landing on various parts of his body. And yet...the man didn't budge. David's ability to endure impacts had been honed to an absurdly high level due to his wrestling training, making his balance stable even while being pelted with such a fierce barrage. He didn't come out unscathed, visible marks appeared across his skin as it was struck, but it was clear the man wouldn't be so easily overwhelmed.

Suddenly, his left hand would move forward, swiping at Griffin's chest. Should his hand even brush against him, he would use the friction generated to toss Gru off balance, sending him airborne. He would immediately follow this up by wrapping his arms around his torso in mid-air, before aching his back, slamming him headfirst into the ground with a vicious suplex.

David hardened the skin and bone around his left elbow at the last moment, before attempting to slam it onto Griffin's fist mid-strike. His goal was to attempt to shatter the man's fist, using his own momentum in tandem with Griffin's to bolster the force of his own blow. The insane hardness of his elbow made striking it akin to hitting solid steel, which was made all the more harmful by the narrow area of the bones within the elbow compared to other parts of the body.

Then David noticed, the power of Griffin's fist also changed, as if it were a vibration, shaking his bones to begin to wear down their hardness, the fist was as if David met a force equal and opposite to his own, as vibrating waves rumbled across the battlefield.

Apparently, David found himself against someone who changed to fight better.....

David clenched his jaw, the vibrational energy shaking his bones as it spread throughout his body. Small, yet visible tears began to spread across his skin as his bones creaked audibly. Yet…the man didn’t pull away, purposely pressing himself against Griffin’s strike as it vibrated, digging his elbow painfully into the man's fist, still fully intent on damaging it.

At the same time…Griffin could feel a new vibration slowly emit from David’s body, clashing violently against Griffin’s own as it began to nullify them. David, using his superb control over his own body, had begun to tighten and relax every muscle inside his body at an absurdly high speed, causing his own flesh to vibrate in such a way that it partially counteracted Griffin’s own ability, reducing the damage David took.

"...He's a cautious one, alright. Any longer and I could've shattered it..." David thought. He cracked his neck, the tears on his skin already closing themselves. His muscles gradually returned to normal, the vibrations that had spread across his body beginning to fade.

"You alright with continuing, dude?" David asked. He flexed his muscles slightly, easing away the lingering discomfort he felt from Griffin's blows from earlier.

David grinned, slowly returning to his original fighting stance.

"...Heh, glad ya having fun....let's start round two then!" He said. In a fraction of an instant, the muscles within his legs bulged, the ground visibly cracking underneath him as he rapidly built up strength. In the next moment, he dashed towards Griffin at high speeds. As soon as he came within melee range, he stuck out his arm, before slamming it against his neck, hitting Griffin with a vicious clothesline if successful.

Griffin in quick movement planted his feet on the ground, his feet dug in like nails and slammed his right fist into David's, using a Desbreak to cancel the inertia and force through the grip on the ground plus a greater lifting force/striking force

Even after removing his momentum, attempting to overpower his clothesline proved extremely difficult. It was clear the man’s muscles weren’t just for show, his physical strength being among the highest of the group. As the man’s fist violently clashed with David’s, he planted his own feet heavily onto the ground, his muscles beginning to bulge as he clashed violently with Griffin’s strike.

Yet, unlike before, David didn’t intend to simply clash with the man. The moment after their fists met, David raised his other arm, before quickly twisting his body, wrapping his arm around the man’s torso. Should this be successful, he would immediately lift the Griffin onto his shoulders, before slamming him back-first onto the ground, delivering a powerful one-handed powerbomb.

David didn't pursue Griffin as he propelled himself away, the impulse slamming against his chest as Griffin escaped his range. Immediately after the man's attack, David's body began reinforcing and strengthening the bones within his arm, his body already adapting to Griffin's strength, despite their brief clashes.

"...Kiara was right...I've always been a pretty sluggish fighter..." David thought. He slowly assumed his stance again, his muscles bulging as he stared intently at Griffin.

"...My best bet would probably be to try and land a counter. He can't dodge around forever..." David thought. He waited for Griffin to initiate his attacks, unmoving.

(b uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu mp Yall mfs slow as shit jesus christ.)

Griffin looked at David changing his stance to a more counter attack, so he had to think about how he could attack, so Griffin began to walk slowly to the left.

(Cause idk what to say.)
(Skill Issue)

Griffin looked at David changing his stance to a more counter attack, so he had to think about how he could attack, so Griffin began to walk slowly to the left.
David slowly began to approach, his muscles tensing as he walked closer and closer into the man's range. Typically, he would have simply used his gravity to attack the man from afar, but purposely held himself back, wanting to focus on improving his technical skill.

Assuming Griffin allowed him to approach, he would throw a quick jab toward his face. Such an attack was a feint, however. Assuming Griffin tried to dodge or otherwise block the attack, David would suddenly twist his body, delivering a vicious haymaker onto the side of Griffin's head with his other hand.

"...Makin' my attacks less predictable...Lilliana taught me that a long time ago, didn't she..." David thought. If baiting him into a counter wouldn't work, he would instead attempt to throw off his reactions, hoping that mixing up his movements would make him more difficult to react to.
