Ragnarök-RP Thread

Jirachi smiled. If she wanted to, she would've been able to easily dodge the attack, but, instead of doing that, she clashed with the sphere of energy, hitting it with the tip of her scythe. Of course, with the increased precision and energy of the attack that Masayoshi released, Jirachi's Blade of Judgement was destroyed, but, with the force she produced, she also dispelled Masayoshi's own Judgement, causing an omni-directional shockwave to blow them both back.

"That was pretty good...!" Jirachi said as she was blown away a few meters, "Let's take 5 while my clone and Jack duke it out!"
Masayoshi was blown back the shockwave, flying through the air before barely managing to land on her feet.

"Thanks. I...I already improved a lot, thanks to you." She said, panting slightly.

"You really are an insult to wrestling..." Raiden said, letting out a sigh. "I mean, if your not even gonna use it right then why even call yourself a wrestler? So much potential wasted on... arm whips."

"I thought the arm whip was pretty cool..." Kiara grumbled.
A wave of shame washed over David. Slowly, he breathed out, shaking his head.

"...Been called a shitty martial artist enough for one lifetime. Not sure what I expected..." He thought.

"...Sorry to disappoint you, Raiden. This was a bad idea." He said. He shook his head, turning away.

"Kiara, ya up. I'm heading out." He said. He began walking away, moving towards the end of the makeshift arena.

"this is being a good dance, you have some good steps"

Jack said as he landed on the ground looking at Jirachine.

his heart was pumping blood fast and strong, in the same way he ran much faster than before while he launched several erratic cuts to make him unpredictable, fast and powerful capable of splitting a mountain in two (I'm being poetic)
Jirachine smiled, meeting his attacks with the tiniest bits of growing effort, clearly impressed with his attacks as she tried to charge Jack in an attempt to cut him down in one fell swoop, releasing insane amounts of air pressure.

"That's good!" Jirachi said to Masayoshi, the scythe dissipating into the air as she just floated into the air, any wounds or dust she may or may not have had, which she didn't really have, not healing, but instead disappearing as if they weren't real in the first place... It was hard to tell what Jirachi actually was, if she was even a human or not.

"Oi, I never said training was over. If you suck ass then keep working until you stop sucking, what's this quitter attitude I'm seeing?" Raiden said.

"Oi, I never said training was over. If you suck ass then keep working until you stop sucking, what's this quitter attitude I'm seeing?" Raiden said.
David breathed out, turning back towards Raiden.

"......"

"...Do you think I could stop sucking? After all this time?". His tone wasn't bitter or angry, just...tired.

"...Been training for millions of years, Raiden. millennia of unarmed fighting. I've gotten stronger...much stronger. But...."

"...I'm still sub-par. I'm...not sure I can close the gap....not at this point."

"....." Masayoshi regarded Jirachi for a moment.

"...Were your wounds just...illusions? Did I harm you...at all?" She asked.

"...I'm still sub-par. I'm...not sure I can close the gap....not at this point."
"Who said you need to close the gap?" Raiden asked, just scratching his head.

"I ain't sayin' you need to get as strong as other people you know, I'm just saying man... If you enjoy what you do, why quit doing it? Plenty of people in the army are better wrestlers than me. Mostly different versions of myself... But you get the point, man. I don't stop training cause I just enjoy Sumo. Not that difficult when you think about it, right? You enjoy wrestling, right?" He asked.
"....." Masayoshi regarded Jirachi for a moment.

"...Were your wounds just...illusions? Did I harm you...at all?" She asked.
"Well, have you ever tried to harm a Dream?" Jirachi asked, smiling.

Jack narrowly dodged, Jirachine had barely cut a one of Jack's white lock of hair, Jack generated a platform to his left and used it as a boost, generating more and more platforms to lean on and circle Jirachine around until he shifted to his direction in an attempt to give a stabbed at high speed

"Well, have you ever tried to harm a Dream?" Jirachi asked, smiling.
Masayoshi cocked her head, looking at her for a moment.

"A...dream?" She asked.

"I...don't understand."

"......" David said nothing for a moment, the tension in his body slowly fading away.

"...Yeah. I...I've loved it since I was a kid." He said quietly.

Masayoshi cocked her head, looking at her for a moment.

"A...dream?" She asked.

"I...don't understand."
Jirachine, instead of dodging the attack, decided to meet the stab head-on with the blunt part of her blade, trying to now overwhelm him with raw strength as she burst forward with incredibly speed and power.

"Well, your a dreamer, yes? I am what people like you would call a Summoning Dream. I'm a spirit, a thought, yeah? Tap that onto my natural regeneration as a Shadow Soldier, the concept of lasting damage pretty much doesn't exist for me." Jirachi said.
"......" David said nothing for a moment, the tension in his body slowly fading away.

"...Yeah. I...I've loved it since I was a kid." He said quietly.
"Then what's this attitude, man? If you love it then pursue it, even if you won't be the best. Giving up so early is just an insult to the sport..." Raiden said.

Masayoshi eyes widened.

"Oh!" Masayoshi said. A wave of nostalgia washed over her, followed by a tinge of sadness. She remained quiet for several moments.

"...I...used to be close friends with a...summoning dream myself." She said softly.

"...Whose your contractor? Are they a shadow soldiers too?"

"Then what's this attitude, man? If you love it then pursue it, even if you won't be the best. Giving up so early is just an insult to the sport..." Raiden said.
"I...." David trailed off.

"...Why...why am I quitting...?" David thought. For a few moments, the thought echoed in his mind as he considered Raiden's words. He didn't need to be one of the best fighters. He never would be. He had long since accepted that. But...he had never let that stop him before. Wrestling had been his life. It was one of the things that had truly brought him joy, throughout his time in the dream world. Even when he had lost his memories, his body reverted to using wrestling moves, as if on instinct.

"....." He clenched his fist, another wave of shame washing over him. The sport had given him so much. Had inspired his entire way of fighting...and he would forsake it simply because he wasn't good enough yet?

Slowly, he got back into a wrestling stance, his body tensed as he looked back towards Raiden.

"...Let's continue, Raiden." He said.

Masayoshi eyes widened.

"...I...used to be close friends with a...summoning dream myself." She said softly.

"...Whose your contractor? Are they a shadow soldiers too?"
Jack directly collided trying to match Jirachine's Strength, he was getting closer to her
Jirachine swiftly overpowered Jack, managing to blow him away from her if he didn't stop her as she continued to charge him, seeing how he'd respond to the difference in strength.

"...My contractor?" Jirache's face returned to that cold, frozen expression for a moment.

"They died a long, long time ago. Long before I stumbled into Ulric and became a Shadow Soldier. Obviously, we terminated the contract before he died so I wouldn't go with him." She said.
"I...." David trailed off.

Slowly, he got back into a wrestling stance, his body tensed as he looked back towards Raiden.

"You're right...Let's continue, Raiden." He said.
Kiara smiled, backing away even further to let Raiden and David do their thing.

"Heh, that's better..." Raiden said, getting back into his stance. "Bring it!"

"Oh." Masayoshi said softly.

"I'm so sorry Jirachi. I...know how close those relationships can be." She said softly. Gently she moved her arm, placing a hand on Jirachi's shoulder.

Kiara smiled, backing away even further to let Raiden and David do their thing.

"Heh, that's better..." Raiden said, getting back into his stance. "Bring it!"
David smiled, breathing out. In an instant, he compressed all the muscles in his body again, before launching forward in a lighting quick tackle. He wasn't using any tricks, simply relying on wrestling alone, attempting to tie up with Raiden again. He modified his tackle slightly, trying to account for Raiden's lower center of gravity by moving closer to the ground. It was rough, obviously, but...he was doing so with newfound conviction.

He recovered looking at Jirachine.

"Well, that proves my hypothesis, so I know how to act now" He said before changing his fighting style, opening his feet, the left one in front of the right one and tilting his body as if he were a baseball batter
"Oh." Masayoshi said softly.

"I'm so sorry Jirachi. I...know how close those relationships can be." She said softly. Gently she moved her arm, placing a hand on Jirachi's shoulder.
"Hm? What's this?" Jirachine thought as she saw Jack's new stance, ready for anything.

"It's fine. I'm still doing what he asked me to! I'm sure he'd be happy if he was alive." Jirachi said, her face going back to normal.

Raiden charged forward at blinding speeds, pulverizing the ground beneath him and sending out an enormous omni-directional shockwave, moving to tackle David.

Kiara let out a yelp from the shockwave, covering her eyes from the dust and debris.

"It's fine. I'm still doing what he asked me to! I'm sure he'd be happy if he was alive." Jirachi said, her face going back to normal.
"I'm glad, Jirachi." Masayoshi said. She flashed her a small smile.

"...If you don't mind me asking...what did he ask you to do?"

Raiden charged forward at blinding speeds, pulverizing the ground beneath him and sending out an enormous omni-directional shockwave, moving to tackle David.

Kiara let out a yelp from the shockwave, covering her eyes from the dust and debris.
David's eyes widened.

"...He's planning on meeting me head-on..." He thought. David's muscles bulged, flexing every cell in his body to pull out all his strength. Lowering his body even further, he suddenly lurched upward, attempting to wrap his hands around Raiden's torso. Should this be successful, he would immediately arch his back, delivering a fierce suplex as he tried to drive him head first into the ground.

"I'm glad, Jirachi." Masayoshi said. She flashed her a small smile.

"...If you don't mind me asking...what did he ask you to do?"
Jack took off, much faster than before, launching multiple slashes as precise as a painting done by a professional, each thrust was comparable to an artist's brush stroke, thin without leaving room for errors, it seemed Jack began to adapt to Jirachine, he broken his limits again
Jirachine smiled, meeting each and every one of Jack's skillful attacks, putting in a bit more effort with each attack, before stopping. "I think this is a good time to take 5 before you go through another 23 limit breaks!"

"He told me to grant wishes." Jirachi said, "I was created when a village going through famine and death prayed to their deity... And wished for somebody to fix all their problems. They prayed and left wishes at a shrine everyday, until poof! I appeared. In the Dream World, at least. The village was in the Real World, and I couldn't go there, so, I guess their wishes were never fulfilled... To put it shortly, I'm a Wishing Spirit. You wished for me to train you, and I'm doing that. I didn't actually know how to use magic until you asked me to train you... Nor did I know how to fight. But since that's what you wanted, I learned how. Instantly."

Raiden lowered his body even further, charging upward and forward and slamming into David's torso with newfound force right before he tried to grab him, sending the man flying into the crowd of Shadow Soldiers if successful. "Come on, I know your better than that!"

Jirachine smiled, meeting each and every one of Jack's skillful attacks, putting in a bit more effort with each attack, before stopping. "I think this is a good time to take 5 before you go through another 23 limit breaks!"
Jack stopped and started laughing at the Dreamborn's words.

"Heheh, you are very good Jirachine, can I tell you Jirachine? Since your real body is with Masayoshi after all. by the way, how are you so skilled?" Jack asked, not realizing that Jirachi had already technically answered his second question, but after all, he doesn't know everything and he was paying attention to the woman in front of him

That's....amazing, Jirachi." Masayoshi said, flashing her a warm smile. She hesitated for a moment, before asking another question.

"...Can you...see the future, with your powers? If someone...wished for it, I mean..." Masayoshi said softly.

Raiden lowered his body even further, charging upward and forward and slamming into David's torso with newfound force right before he tried to grab him, sending the man flying into the crowd of Shadow Soldiers if successful. "Come on, I know your better than that!"
"I ain't out yet!" David yelled. He lunged out of the crowd of shadow soldiers, pushing past them as he rushed back towards Raiden. He raised his hands and brought them down on top of Raiden's shoulders, delivering a fierce Mongolian Chop onto him, should he fail to avoid it.

"so, if I am understand you right, you are not a genie but an entity that can adapt to people's wishes, making them come true to a certain extent" Jack tried to understand while he approached to Jirachine

Although in the depths of Jack's Heart/mind, where not even his weapons could reach, he began to question why she stopped at her words

"She meant Summoning, right? If so, why didn't she complete the word? Maybe there is something extra with the word, something probably related to the world of origin of these people (referring to Ragnarok's Crew), maybe I should ask the others later"

"Well, that depends on who your asking me to look at, but yeah, so long as you wish for it I could." Jirachi said with a smile.

"Pretty much! Ask for anything within my power and I'll grant it." Jirachine said, "This obviously also applies to my real body."
Raiden tanked the chop, barely phased by it as he got into position and delivered a palm strike directly to David's chest while they were still in close range, the shockwave reverberating through his flesh and attacking his insides.

"Hehe, I don't have any desire/wish of my own, I don't care about money or food, I just want to help others and have a great adventure" Jack started to say, although of course there were some darker questions what he can't say right now, question related to his future, what would he do after all this? And above all, what will happen when Adam is gone? Why does roast beef taste so good? and one last question would he really die alone after Adam dead?

"Well, that depends on who your asking me to look at, but yeah, so long as you wish for it I could." Jirachi said with a smile.
Masayoshi said nothing for a moment, hestitating.

"...Can...you tell me...if we ever...get out of these Lostbelts? If we can...return to the dream world?" She asked softly.

"...My husband...has been...struggling. It would mean a lot to him to know that there is a...light at the end of this tunnel."
Raiden tanked the chop, barely phased by it as he got into position and delivered a palm strike directly to David's chest while they were still in close range, the shockwave reverberating through his flesh and attacking his insides.
David could feel his bones crack and break from the palm's force, his heart nearly rupturing entirely. Yet...David didn't stop. Sealing his internal wounds with his body control, he immediately hooked his arm underneath Raiden's armpit, attempting to grab the man's shoulder. Should this be successful, he would instantly turn his body, his muscles bulging as he tried to slam the man against the ground.

"Well... Let me see." Jirachi said, beginning to gently glow for a few moments. "Lostbelts... Lostbelts..."

"No, sorry, I can't see that. Whenever I try, I just see a girl with white hair and a bunch of wings... with weird... crosses on her forehead..." Jirachi murmured.

"Well, not everyone has a wish they want to fulfill. We won't be here together for much longer outside of your training so I won't have the chance to grant yours anyway." Jirachine said.

Raiden slammed his feet against the ground, cratering it beneath him as he closed his armpit around David's arm and tried to swing the man onto the ground instead, sending him hurdling into the ground.

"Well, not everyone has a wish they want to fulfill. We won't be here together for much longer outside of your training so I won't have the chance to grant yours anyway." Jirachine said
"Are you saying it because after we finish training, you will eventually merge with your real self or because after we defeat, if we defeat of course, the dragon and Akaza, you will return to the Ring?" Jack asked

"Are you saying it because after we finish training, you will eventually merge with your real self or because after we defeat, if we defeat of course, the dragon and Akaza, you will return to the Ring?" Jack asked
"Well, I'll eventually merge with my real self, yeah, but once we finish training you the Shadow Soldiers are just gonna return to the princess' ring. We don't really have a choice unless she keeps us out somehow..." Jirachine said.

"Well, I guess only fate will know" Jack said, before asking her something else.

"Are you happy? I mean, I know you have to protect Gabriel because it's your duty and stuff but aside from that, are you happy with your life?" Jack asked, that was a question that he had been asking himself for a long time.

Masayoshi sighed, leaning back.

"Well...that isn't a no, at least. Thanks, Jirachi..." She said softly.

"....Can you tell me anything else about this angel?"

Raiden slammed his feet against the ground, cratering it beneath him as he closed his armpit around David's arm and tried to swing the man onto the ground instead, sending him hurdling into the ground.
David was slammed to the ground, feeling his previously mended bones creak and crack on impact. Attempting to power through the pain, he moved into a crouching position, before tackling Raiden's legs, wrapping his arms around them, and attempting to forcefully drive him off his feet.

Masayoshi sighed, leaning back.

"Not much. I'm... only really seeing them in... a bunch of weird purple stuff. Kinda looks like the stuff us Shadow Soldiers are made of in undead form, but like, physical, and gooey..." Jirachi said, "Their definitely a female though. No idea how useful that information is."

"Why would I be unhappy?" Jirachine asked.
David was slammed to the ground, feeling his previously mended bones creak and crack on impact. Attempting to power through the pain, he moved into a crouching position, before tackling Raiden's legs, wrapping his arms around them, and attempting to forcefully drive him off his feet.
Raiden was unmoving, slamming his feet into the ground once more as various veins and muscles bulged around his calves and thighs, delivering a brutal kick right to David's face that would send him flying if successful.

(cuz i watched Doctor strange 2)

"I just find that being a shadow soldier could be a bit of a limiting experience for what one could do with her/his own life, though it's probably just me being a idiot who doesn't know what is doing and what trouble I'm getting myself into" said Jack at the end

"...That goo is probably corruption...meaning it's likely related to Adam in some way. And the white-haired female angel could be Gabriel...though if she was...then Jirachi would probably say as much..." Masayoshi thought.

"...Thank you, for the information, Jirachi. I appreciate it." Masayoshi said. She rubbed her temple, breathing out a bit.

"...Can I ask you a few more questions? I don't want to bombard you." She said.

Raiden was unmoving, slamming his feet into the ground once more as various veins and muscles bulged around his calves and thighs, delivering a brutal kick right to David's face that would send him flying if successful.
David was sent flying across the area, collapsing several meters away. His Jaw, and several bones around his face, had been broken on impact. Slowly, he stood to his feet, forcefully mending what damage he could before lunging back towards Raiden. Immediately, he slammed one foot on the ground. Every muscle in his body began to bulge suddenly, as he delivered a vicious backhand chop into Raiden's chest, putting all of his muscular strength into the attack.

"Oh, ask away, there's no problem!" Jirachi said with a smile, clearly not minding at all if she asked more questions.

"Yeah, your just being an idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about!" Jirachine said, sticking her tongue out at him.
David was sent flying across the area, collapsing several meters away. His Jaw, and several bones around his face, had been broken on impact. Every muscle in his body began to bulge suddenly, as he delivered a vicious backhand chop into Raiden's chest, putting all of his muscular strength into the attack.
Raiden stood his ground, violently flexing as every muscle fiber in his body tightened and straightened violently, bulging outward as the newly created muscle-armor took David's attack, the composition of Raiden's muscles clearly being made to reflect force as he flexed once more, sending the shockwave of David's own attack back at him.

"Oh, ask away, there's no problem!" Jirachi said with a smile, clearly not minding at all if she asked more questions.
Masayoshi smiled

"Alright...so. Can you find out if there is any way to stop these... dimensions from destroying themselves? Can you...find that out with your wishing ability?" Masayoshi asked, leaning in slightly.

At the last moment, David began to vibrate his entire body, taking the body's natural ability to shiver and amplifying it billions of times as his entire body shook rapidly. The resulting vibrations clashed with Raiden's muscle shockwave, rapidly dispersing the energy. Should this be successful, he would grab Raiden by the shoulder, before sprouting several sharp thorns made of reinforced bone from his arm. Immediately he would launch forward, slamming this arm against Raiden's head in a vicious clothesline, the spikes digging into his flesh if successful.
