Ragnarök-RP Thread

"No need. Return to your quarters or wherever you would deem it fit to sleep..." Okita said, "I will not tolerate any more disturbances to public peace."

Gabriel sighed, "Let's... Just go lay down, Terevion."

Metatron flew away from the town and to the nearest mountain range that he could find and simply burying himself in it with his wings.
Raviathon nodded, seeming disappointed both in herself and Metatron, beginning to walk to the quarters for the group as she understood

"Something tells me she knows you from somewhere... are you sure you don't want to talk to Shalor first?" Terevion asked

Cullthane landed right beside Metatron, speaking quietly "Is that how you honor Michael's memory?" Cullthane asked, his voice wasn't angry, it only held grief in it

"What exactly would you know about honoring one's memory, you nihilistic prick...?" Metatron murmured, simply curled up into a ball, his wings covering him completely as his rage had not left him.

"No, Terevion. I don't. I'll do it tomorrow, all I want right now is to lay down for a bit..." Gabriel murmured, simply sighing.

"Everything is under control, Ythala. There was just some nuisances disturbing the peace... Hopefully, that doesn't happen again." Okita said, gripping her blade.
"O-ok..." She said, still clearly nervous as she stared in the direction that the angels had flown.

"...Was...Metatron...going to...K-kill...Raviathon?" She said quietly.

Masayoshi sighed.

"...I suppose Cullthane will have to deal with this by himself..." She thought. She floated away from the scene, taking a seat as she began to read the scroll he gave her.

Rory would sigh herself, "These ******* Angels, man... Always causing problems..."
"Heh, yeah..." David said, chuckling a bit.

"Those Seraphims can be...a real piece of work. And now we've got those two new angels to worry about..." He said, sighing.

"O-ok..." She said, still clearly nervous as she stared in the direction that the angels had flown.

"...Was...Metatron...going to...K-kill...Raviathon?" She said quietly.
"That seemed to be the case, but... I am exceedingly glad it did not come to that. Now, come, Ythala, I will lead you to your quarters for the night..." Okita offered, simply letting out a sigh.
"Heh, yeah..." David said, chuckling a bit.

"Those Seraphims can be...a real piece of work. And now we've got those two new angels to worry about..." He said, sighing.
"Yeah... Well, Ythala and Raviathon seem pretty chill, at least... Ythala was kinda throwing me off during our last fight, though..." Rory said, sighing as well.

"I guess that's my signal" said Jack listening to sonic boom as he got up from his seat and went back to his work without saying goodbye to Grue first.

Walking through the streets, Basia came across a cat that seemed to be hungry.

"I can't forget about our little inhabitants too" he said as he took out a can of food and gave it to the cat

then I search all over the city for every stray animal to take out of town for a better deal in the future

"No, Terevion. I don't. I'll do it tomorrow, all I want right now is to lay down for a bit..." Gabriel murmured, simply sighing.
"I know killing anybody who mentions them isn't doing it." Cullthane responded, sighing before continuing "For the first time in my life, I don't even know where I stand anymore, so where do you stand?"

"I echo those thoughts, it's been quite the day." Terevion said, opening the sheets of the bed to allow Gabriel to get in before he did

"Damnit... how could I screw up like that..." Raviathon thought to herself before trying to make her way over to Rory and David, her head hanging a bit

"That seemed to be the case, but... I am exceedingly glad it did not come to that. Now, come, Ythala, I will lead you to your quarters for the night..." Okita offered, simply letting out a sigh.
"..Why would...Metatron do something like that. What...What happened to him..." She thought, tearing up a bit. She jumped upward, wrapping her hands around Okita's neck again.

"..A-alright..." she said quietly.

"Yeah... Well, Ythala and Raviathon seem pretty chill, at least... Ythala was kinda throwing me off during our last fight, though..." Rory said, sighing as well.
"I'm worried about Ythala. Don't want her to get traumatized or anything if she sees us fight again..." David sighed.

"Damnit... how could I screw up like that..." Raviathon thought to herself before trying to make her way over to Rory and David, her head hanging a bit
David glanced forward, looking at Raviathon as she approached.

"Ay" David said simply, waving at her.

Rory was about to answer David but simply waved at Raviathon as well, "Yo."
"..Why would...Metatron do something like that. What...What happened to him..." She thought, tearing up a bit. She jumped upward, wrapping her hands around Okita's neck again.

Okita led Ythala to the bed quarters where Kinzer, Rhongomyniad, Terevion, and Gabriel would be, basically the resting area as she urged for Ythala to lay down on one of the beds.
"I echo those thoughts, it's been quite the day." Terevion said, opening the sheets of the bed to allow Gabriel to get in before he did
Gabriel sighed, but lightly smiled, doing just that as she retracted her wings due to them being bigger than the actual bed itself, waiting for Terevion to get in with her.
"I know killing anybody who mentions them isn't doing it." Cullthane responded, sighing before continuing "For the first time in my life, I don't even know where I stand anymore, so where do you stand?"
"In a pile of shit and mud," Metatron said, remaining completely silent afterward, but groans and silent insults could be heard, the insults primarily going towards himself.

"Hey..." Raviathon said, quietly beginning to curse at herself

Terevion got in after her, closing his eyes as he put an arm over Gabriel, keeping awake for a bit to hear and respond to anything Gabriel wanted to say

"Metatron... if there was a time to stop running its now. And... try to comfort Ythala a bit when you get back to the village." Cullthane said, creating a chair for him to sit in next to Metatron as Imperius landed, Solarian not in hand but seething a bit

Ythala reached her arms up, beckoning at Okita as she was placed on the bed.

"....Can...can you sleep with me...?" She said softly, a pink blush forming on her cheeks.

"Hey..." Raviathon said, quietly beginning to curse at himself
David glanced around, not really knowing what to say.

"Uh, do ya know what just happened? Seems like there was some commotion going on a few minutes ago."

"Hey..." Raviathon said, quietly beginning to curse at herself
"Yeah, what's going on...?" Rory asked, nodding at David's question and crossing her arms as she seemed a bit concerned.
Terevion got in after her, closing his eyes as he put an arm over Gabriel, keeping awake for a bit to hear and respond to anything Gabriel wanted to say
Gabriel did in fact want to say a few things, but she was to mentally tired for that, needing a good night's rest with a person she cared about more than anything else right now, swiftly falling asleep.

"...I cannot, Ythala. I have my own duties to attend to, and I cannot afford to sleep just yet." Okita would say, bowing apologetically.

"Just... I mostly just want to figure things out and help him out..." Raviathon murmured

Terevion fell asleep shortly after Gabriel did...

"Like I did for however many years?" Cullthane asked, Imperius silently standing like a sentry several meters away from them

"...I cannot, Ythala. I have my own duties to attend to, and I cannot afford to sleep just yet." Okita would say, bowing apologetically.
O...okay...." She said softly, visibly disappointed as she grabbed Okita's arm, hugging it for a few moments.

"....let me know if you're ever free, ok? I...I don't like sleeping alone..." She said quietly, her blush increasing as she looked up at Okita.

(She's saying she wants to **** Okita on the spot-)

"Just... I mostly just want to figure things out and help him out..." Raviathon murmured
"Him...? Raviathon, what happened?" Rory asked.
"Like I did for however many years?" Cullthane asked, Imperius silently standing like a sentry several meters away from them
"......" Metatron was simply silent at that, trying to dig himself further into the ground and into his solitude.

Okita nodded, her face stern and her demeanor cold, clearly extremely focused on her duties as she looked down at Ythala, her hand still gripped on the hilt of her blade.

"I will be sure to alert you of such. Now, get some rest."

"Him...? Raviathon, what happened?" Rory asked.

"......" Metatron was simply silent at that, trying to dig himself further into the ground and into his solitude.
"Isn't it obvious... I tried to get Metatron to stop just running..." Raviathon murmured, sitting down and hanging her head

Cullthane kept in lock pace as Metatron dug with his magic, keeping Metatron in sight but beginning to write in a blue book about something almost unconsciously

Ythala nodded. Slowly she laid back on the bed, breathing out as she closed her eyes. The mental and physical fatigue had clearly exhausted her, as she fell asleep fairly quickly.

"Isn't it obvious... I tried to get Metatron to stop just running..." Raviathon murmured, sitting down and hanging her head
"And uh... I assume that didn't go well. I uh... heard Metatron and Cullthane flying off." Rory said, awkwardly scratching her head.

"Will you just leave me alone...?" Metatron said as he stopped digging, but was still covered in his wings.

"Oh...well...." David muttered, not really knowing what to say. He didn't particularly care about Metatron or his issues, but didn't like seeing the girl upset.

"Maybe you should...give him some time. Just because it didn't work out today...doesn't mean your words didn't mean anything. People change at their own pace..." He said, flashing her a small smile.

"Uh... huh..." Rory murmured, "If I may ask, why exactly did you come to the two of us about this? We rarely ever interact with Metatron..."

"And what exactly do you think pestering me is going to accomplish...?" Metatron said, finally getting up and beginning to walk away.
"I wasn't planning to at first, but really who else is there to talk to right now if we're being honest?" Raviathon asked, though was a little comforted by David's words

"I believe it may finally get you to stop running from your trauma. But regardless, like I said before, you should try to comfort Ythala... the fact you made any angel genuinely scared of someone they should look up to should enough to get you to finally start returning to grace." Cullthane said, walking past Metatron and looking at the Boötes constellation again, specifically at the Arcturus star

"That's uh... a fair point, heh. But I don't really have much to tell you... Giving advice on this kind of stuff has never been my specialty, sorry." Rory said honestly.

"I don't give a shit about grace..." Metatron said, getting up and turning around, beginning to simply walk back to the town.

"There's no grace anymore, Cullthane... I'm a Seraphim, but what of it? My brethren have long since been killed, my duties stripped of me, my powers practically nil compared to what they were... Regardless of whether or not your right or wrong, there is no grace anymore, Cullthane. We're just men with wings strapped to our backs..." Metatron said.

"Our duties ended when our masters died?" Cullthane asked, turning to Metatron "do you ever question yourself? Where do I stand now, Metatron? You have a contractor, you have your durability, you still have everything you need to fulfill old duties. The Mad God would have to change that personally in order to stop you... but your stopping yourself" Cullthane said, his mind a clear mess as he just followed Metatron again, Imperius having disappeared

"There's this one, have a good trip" Jack said as he said goodbye to a family, he had fixed his engine, now he was walking through the empty streets of the city.

Currently there was no one but him, not a single trace of life.

"So now what" Omega asked, appearing on Jack's back, he shrugged his shoulders, while fixing his black and white hair, he had stopped feeling any motivation because his work was done.

"Idk, maybe I'll find Okita" Jack said as he walked, he knew where to find her after all he has worked with her for years

"But I have nothing to devote those abilities to, Cullthane! Neither do you...! Our brethren are dead, our home destroyed, our time ended! I've nothing more to devote myself to... Nothing to fight for...!" Metatron exclaimed, breathing heavily.
"Yeah... thanks..." Raviathon murmured to Rory and David
"It's no problem, Raviathon... Personally, I'm... open to talk if you need to anytime. I'm trying to get better at that..." Rory murmured.

Okita was in the forest, having finished her more... administrative duties, which usually just involved mountains and mountains of paperwork. Though, she'd been working this job since childhood, so she'd gotten used to that part. Now, she was performing her training, sitting down with her legs crossed, engaging in silent meditation, green energy flowing around her body.

"You fought me when I was unsealed. You do have something to fight for, and you did fight for it, all you need to do is look around, you have Lance to fight for as well. I don't know what my duties are anymore, but I feel as if I'm on the precipice of finding them anew." Cullthane responded, walking next to Metatron

"Yeah... thanks for that, Rory, David." Raviathon said as she got up, flashing them a smile as she clearly appreciated the support "I believe I have a fellow magic caster to talk to." Raviathon said, walking to find Masayoshi

David shrugged, waving at her as he left.

"....I'm gonna hit the hay...I should be able to recover with a good night's rest..." He said. He stretched his arms a bit, before slowly heading back to the base.

Meanwhile.

Masayoshi was sitting at a table in the base, pouring over every inch of the scroll that Cullthane gave her. Magical energy radiated all around her body as she tried to mimic the spells in the scroll. She firmly grasped the bamboo Cullthane had given her earlier, the plant visibly altering and modifying itself in her grip.

"...This isn't right..." She murmured, her frustration mounting as she failed to correctly cast one of the spells. She was so engrossed in her studies that she didn't even notice Raviathon's approach.

"I fought you because had I not you would've killed my contractor... Which by default would've killed me. I have no choice but to defend him. Ugh... I was such an idiot back then... Acting on impulse and not logic... How could I bind myself to such a weakling..." Metatron grumbled, even if he knew that partially wasn't true.
Jack remained calm breathing the pure air of the forest, while he waited for her to stop meditating, he didn't want to disturb her.
"Name your purpose here, Jack." Okita said, slowly opening her eyes.

Raviathon approached Masayoshi deftly, sitting next to her as she looked at the spell Masayoshi was trying to cast, it was a fairly advanced spell, to create a plant from nothing but your own mind

"We both know that's a half-truth, Metatron." Cullthane responded, now looking at the star named Canopus, as if reminiscing about the past himself

Masayoshi lost her concentration for a moment, her magic fizzling out as she looked at the angel in surprise.

"O-oh!" Masayoshi said. She quickly stuffed her bamboo in her pocket, flashing Raviathon a small smile.

"You're Cullthane's angel...Raviathon, right?" Masayoshi said.

"I think I'm gonna stay here and... Check on Kiara." Rory said, waving goodbye to David.
David nodded, waving at her.

"...Let me know if theirs anything I can do to help out." He said
