Ragnarök-RP Thread

Rory shrugged, "Alright, lemme check with my wife first, though."

"Rory, you know your an adult, right? Go spar!" Kiara said, chuckling.

"Heh... Yeah, alright, babe. Just wanted to make sure!" Rory responded, smiling before turning back to Imperius.

"Alright, we're good. Let's do it." She said.
 
Rory got serious immediately, kicking off the ground and dodging the attack. She delivered swift and accurate slashes from what seemed to be all directions, her accuracy abnormal with the large broadsword she was using, clearly trying to cut through his armor and reach his vitals.
 
Rory continued to expertly dodge the slashes with a few nicks here and there, remaining silent as she charged forward and tried to impale Imperius with her blade, the collision between the tip of her blade and his armor causing the crater they were fighting in to expand violently if the strike connected.
 
Imperius in a quick motion had grappled the Greatsword Rory was using with Solarian, the spear tip having opened up and clamped down on the blade, spinning in Imperius's hand as he tried to break his opponent's weapon as he used one of the spears he summoned to slash at Rory's collar bone diagonally with impossible precision
 
As Rory's blade blade broke, she immediately created another blade, a thin katana, the lighter weapon allowing her to swing faster as she narrowly avoided having the spear dug into her collar bone by bending down with incredible flexibility. Rory then shot up with her katana, coating it in willpower to increase its sharpness as she then tried to cut into Imperius's neck, staying close.
 
Rory let go of her blade and simply kicked off the ground to jump backward and avoid the clash, allowing her to katana to be broken as she snapped her fingers and surrounded Imperius in floating blades of varying size and construction, launching them all at him rapidly.
 
The weapons followed him regardless as she moved them telekinetically while also preparing a massive attack herself, coating a broadsword she created in large amounts of ice and fire and massively sharpening it as she prepared to clash with him.
 
Imperius used his own telekinesis on the blades following him to stop them in their tracks, his armor and Solarian suddenly burning hot enough to turn the metal white as he dodged the clash, the steam not even reaching them as enough water was vaporized around them to put them on solid ground that was quickly becoming magma, Imperius going on full offense with a flurry of Slashes that seemed to extend farther then Solarian itself could reach, the angel of Valor's onslaught seeming to come in impossible directions
 
Rory clashed with and met each of Imperius's blows with absolutely blinding accuracy and skill, a few beads of sweat running down her face as her arms bulged with veins, her staggering arm strength along with the sheer strength of her blade allowing her to take the hits without collapsing as she went on the complete offensive now, delivering slashes and stabs from all directions that cut through the ground and sent blades of warm wind flying everywhere.
 
Imperius effortlessly parried these strikes, making a single one of his own to pierce right through Rory'e defenses and going right through her left shoulder, but purposely not hitting any bones as he grabbed her right wrist, holding it in such a way where where he could easily snap the wrist, looking to see if she could get out of such a situation
 
Rory was able to narrowly avoid the strike to her left shoulder with a large scar that healed in seconds and knocked Imperius's hand away with her blade before he could grab her wrist, displaying clearly exceptional reaction speed along with her skills as she was purposely sending herself back from the short clash to create distance as she breathed a bit heavily, clearly a bit winded.
 
It didn't take long for Rory to immediately jump back into the fray, in fact, after around a moment or two of catching her breath she had already begun dashing forward with all her might, dashing through the circle of fire before it could completely surround her as her blade slammed against Imperius's chest if it connected, clearly not done yet in the slightest.
 
Rory's eyes dilated rapidly as she bent down even further than she did before to dodge the strike to her side then shot up like a spring with even more power to slash at Imperius's neck, her senses seeming to get sharper as she was put on the ropes. She would then duck backward and do a backflip to create some distance so that she could properly dodge the fire attacks, a few burn marks appearing around her that didn't seem to bother her in the slightest as she immediately jumped back into the fray, a bit faster.
 
Imperius solidified the heat and flame to block Rory's slash, being in lockstep with her backflip as he teleported and caught her right out of the air, slamming her by the leg into the ground before going for a spar ender by putting Solarian to her neck, not at all expecting her to give up so easily
 
Just as Imperius slammed her to the ground, which did seem to make her cough up a bit of blood, she pulled herself up and tried to stab into Imperius's neck, seeming to be trying to merely tear off her leg to escape, and nearly being successful as blood began spewing from her leg, something that didn't seem to bother her in the slightest, nor did her other injuries.
 
Imperius caught the blade in-between his two fingers, Solarian not in sight as his grip was such that Rory couldn't even move her weapon, specifically avoiding any effects of trying to actually grab a hold of and use it, grabbing a hold above where Rory was trying to tear off her leg by shifting his grip in such a way where it was still a vice grip while light enough to move past the wounds, recognizing Rory's will to go on being possible above what could be safely healed as he spoke

"Do not to injure yourself more then you can regenerate, as I have not seen this group's healers in action I cannot say if they could heal you or not." Imperius said, clearly completely serious about the spar still
 
Rory simply created a floating sword and fired it at her leg up to her thigh, allowing her to escape Imperius's grip as she abandoned the sword he grabbed and simply made an exact replica, doing another backflip to create distance, which was a bit sloppier due to her lack of a leg, landing on her remaining leg with perfect balance, though.

"Nah, this can be healed. Gabriel and Rhongomyniad are pretty good healers." She said as she immediately cauterized the wound with moderate fire.
 
"Hmph." Imperius grunted in response, immediately pressing the advantage and making perfect movements and attacks to control Rory's center line, mixing some kicks to her still-attached leg to knock Rory off her feet with his now massively increased flurry of attacks that came like a hurricane
 
Even with her leg lost she was still capable of moving as if she was completely balanced on two legs somehow, meeting Imperius blow for blow once more and barely parrying his strikes. If Imperius's attacks were akin to a hurricane, her attacks were more akin to an orchestrated opera, each block and parry perfectly placed to defend herself as she was also going on the offensive at the same time, sending an attack to one of Imperius's vital points with each strike she blocked and or parried, more veins bulging on her arms to show she was indeed putting in considerable effort to avoid all of these attacks.
 
Imperius didn't seem to have a vital point possible to hit as he used his open hand to back hand Rory's blade on its side, Solarian opening up and thrusting forward to impale Rory in her left shoulder again as Imperius let go of his weapon and moved for hand to hand, his movements being chaotic but perfectly stringed together, mixing grabs with strikes that used Imperius's height on Rory to his advantage, the angel shockingly flexible even in full armor as he moved to sweep Rory's leg in order to either completely counter the dodge with a grapple similar to what he did last time, or take advantage of Rory being in the air and forced to use her arms for stability to grab her by the neck
 
Rory, even as Imperius back handed her blade, didn't let go of it, lifting her blade up to block Solarian from impaling her shoulder as she jumped up to avoid the next leg sweep after continuing to narrowly avoid his hands, mostly focusing on trying to block and parry his grapples and taking a few of the strikes head on which did seem to cause her quite a bit of damage, but nothing that wasn't healed within a few moments. But she wasn't prepared for being grabbed by the neck as she was in the air, swiftly using her elemental manipulation to try and swiftly pull herself through whatever water that wasn't completely evaporated and dodge the attack.
 
Rory seemed to expect that something would try and stop her from dodging, immediately firing dozens of blades at the wall of earth then continuing to move backward after it was destroyed to dodge her sword arm being pinned, catching her breath a bit after their long exchange but now immediately on guard again as she moved back into the fray, still, even after all that, not faltering in her movements.
 
Rory would only continue to counter with more weapons and more on top of that, shifting to the side instead of try to move back and then swerving back in to deliver another slice to Imperius's neck along with a slash to the abdomen which seemed to come at almost exactly the same time.
 
Rory would continue to add more weapons as well to defend herself, letting go of her sword and nigh-instantly switching it to her other hand as she was grabbed, removing her grabbed hand with a swift slash and making a prosthetic out of ice and metal and dodging the grab to her neck and then immediately going back in to deliver another hurricane of slashes.
 
Imperius easily blocked the Flurry before using his teleportation to teleport into a position where one hand pierced her back to grab her spine and the back of her neck with the other hand, Imperius not making even a single movement in the sequence wrong, his own warrior instincts telling him this fight wasn't over yet
