Ragnarök-RP Thread

"Alright... Maybe Kiara knows where he is, so I'll go look for her. Gabriel, can you walk...?" Rory asked.

Gabriel tried to gently float out of Terevion's arms, shakily getting on her feet and breathing heavily. "I'm recovering slowly but surely..." She murmured, her balance gradually improving.

Gabriel nodded, leaning against Terevion a bit.

"Alright. Stay near Terevion so he can protect you, Gabriel." Rory summoned a large broadsword in case anything dangerous popped up, ruffling her hair a bit.

"Haa..." Rory simply sighed, turning to David. "How are you feeling...?" She asked, seeming to try and make small talk awkwardly, something which was clearly out of the ordinary for her.

Rory turned to Gabriel, then back to him, then back to Gabriel, then back to him. "Th-That's... good....??? Is that what I say...? Ugh..." Rory murmured, scratching her head.

"Figuring out how to help people through emotional shit is hard..."

Imperius was silent for a moment, he had apsolutely no experience with such things, and as such didn't know how to approach it as he spoke

"Such things are beyond what I'm experienced in, however, David gives good advice, speak from the heart, just because Gabriel has someone she's fallen in love with doesn't mean she doesn't need allies, friends, and family outside of Terevion." Imperius said

The group walked in and met Kiara, who was leaning against the wall, sweating profusely. "Oh! Hey!" Kiara said enthusiastically, walking up to the group and smiling as she hugged Rory.

"Nice to see you to, Kiara... Say, have you seen Lance and Metatron?" Rory asked.

"Hm? Doesn't he train with you nowadays, David? He told me you guys had been working out." Kiara said, pushing Rory away from the hug gently and turning to David, waving at Imperius in a friendly manner as well.

Kiara chuckled, "I like this new guy. Good enthusiasm." She said before turning to David, "No problem, man. I'll go with you." Kiara said, smiling.

"I hope Metatron ain't working him to the bone, though. Lance has gotten tough, but he ain't that tough..." Kiara murmured.

"Yeah...don't want to cripple the man....my workouts were hard enough on him..." David said, shaking his head.

Soon, they reached the edge of the kingdom, where they could see Metatron sitting on Lance's back as the Seraphim made him do 50,000 pushups with his entire wingspan out, which severely increased his weight.

"Come now, only 2,000 more to go, Lance. Oh, I like this color..." Metatron muttered to himself as he casually painted his nails gold, smiling.

Kiara was the first to begin walking up, smiling and waving. "Oh, look, them." Metatron said, glaring at the group.

Lance gasped for air, clearly having been exercising for a while. Sweat poured from every inch of his body and he trembled every time he rose back up with his push-up. He looked exhausted, as if he had just run several marathons back to back, but it was clear that he was being pushed far beyond his usual limits. He had discarded his usual attire, being replaced with a short sleeve athletic shirt and shorts.

Slowly, he raised his head up, looking at the party.

"G-Greetings......Kiara!" Lance choked out.

"Don't hurt ya self, Lance. Kiara is right, we train hard, but our bodies are used to that kinda thing. This ain't the training a newbie like ya should be doing..." David said, scratching his head.

"........" Lance hesitated for a moment. A part of him clearly considered stopping.

"...N-no..." He muttered.

"....I...I..need to get...stronger...for...both...our sakes...." Lance muttered to Metatron.

Metatron smiled, "See? Look at how determined he is. Now, what the heaven do you want? Or was this just some sort of friendly visit?"

Kiara sighed, clearly still worried about Lance. "A-A...Alright...! I'm glad your so pumped...!" Kiara said, doing her best to sound enthusiastic about Lance's determination. "And I... Don't really know why you guys wanted to see Lance and Metatron. You never told me. What's up?"

"...Alright, Lance, but, remember to take breaks, alright? The muscles need to heal before they can strengthen." David said, clearly worried about his training partner.

"...T-thanks...Kiara. And....I'll....keep...that...in mind, David..." Lance choked out, trying his best to flash them both a smile.

Masayoshi, who had been silently walking alongside the group, spoke up.

"...Gabriel found out more information about the corruption and Adam..." She said.

"...So we're gathering the group to prepare..."

Metatron tilted his head, "The Archangel did? How?"

"She uh... Absorbed some energy and had another one of those lightbulb moments she was having when we got here. Yknow, the ones that kept causing her headaches..." Rory explained.

"Hah! Well, alright." Metatron said, simply shrugging.

"Apparently we'll be facing two angels that Adam made as enemies..." Rory said.

"............." Metatron went silent.
