"whoa what!?" David said, looking as the arm violently exploded.

"The slime didn't even attack him, did it? why the hell did his arm explode!?"

The voice boomed out once more.

"It is now the slime's turn! Slime uses pounce! Slime targets King Tiger!"

The slime jumped forward faster than David could react, leaping onto his arm and using its slimy body to form a blade, lopping off his arm.

"David loses an arm!"

"Hmmm, I think this slime here has regeneration, we can't exactly win because I don't see a core." Pandora's Actor noted

(I'm just going to assume Masayoshi and Towa aren't in the game because they didn't volunteer.)

The voice boomed out once more.

"It is now the slime's turn! Slime uses pounce! Slime targets King Tiger!"

The slime jumped forward faster than David could react, leaping onto his arm and using its slimy body to form a blade, lopping off his arm.

"Shit..." David muttered, gritting his teeth as pain blasted through his body. blood spilling onto the ground. Without his natural regeneration, he had no way of regrowing his lost limb, nor a way to stop the blood from freely leaving his body.

"W-we gotta deal with this...NOw" David said.

he staggered forward, and aimed a powerful stomp on top of the slime's body, attempting to crush it.

"Shit..." David muttered, gritting his teeth as pain blasted through his body. blood spilling onto the ground. Without his natural regeneration, he had no way of regrowing his lost limb, nor a way to stop the blood from freely leaving his body.

"W-we gotta deal with this...NOw" David said.

"David uses stomp!"

His foot bounced off of the slime, knocking him back. "He is blown back into a tree." The slime sprung back, launching David into a tree.

"The slime's springy body launches David back. It is now slime's turn!"

"Blunt force isn't going to work for such a springy creature..." Gabriel said, "We'll need to tear it apart somehow-"

"Slime has targeted Gabriel! Slime uses pounce!"

The slime formed a blade as it did with David, jumping at Gabriel. "WAIT-" Gabriel attempted to dodge.

"Gabriel attempts to dodge! Half-damage is dealt!"

Gabriel is dealt a large gash on her torso.

Muramasa sighed and diced the slime into pieces with his katana which was on fire, avoiding burning the grass

David staggered to his feet, and walked over to Gabriel, standing in front of the angel.

"G-Gabriel! You alright?!" David said softly, already feeling lightheaded from the loss of blood.

Meanwhile

Lance grabbed one of his daggers and attempted to help Muramasa by cleaving parts of the slime off with it.

"I doubt Gabriel is flesh and blood, she should be fine." Pandora's Actor said

"I'm not flesh and blood. The screaming was for dramatic effect." Gabriel said, "Although I don't feel the pain this will impair me..."

"Lance Lafayette and Senji Muramasa have defeated slime! Slime dies."

"Uh, good job? I guess slimes are weak to cutting attacks." Rory said.

"So what's the reward? I think Givin Gabriel the ability to heal or Pandora's Actor the ability to transform would be good." Muramasa said out loud

"I'm not flesh and blood. The screaming was for dramatic effect." Gabriel said, "Although I don't feel the pain this will impair me..."

"Lance Lafayette and Senji Muramasa have defeated slime! Slime dies."

"Uh, good job? I guess slimes are weak to cutting attacks." Rory said.

"Alright....good" David said, glancing at his severed arm.

"Does...uh...anyone know how to seal a wound? I'm losing....a lot of blood" He said.

Lance put away his daggers, glad that their attack was effective.

"Nicely done Muramasa!" Lance said, nodding at the man.

"That's good to note...." Masayoshi said, taking some of the cloth from her dress and using it to patch up David's wound, "I'm not really the best at this, but I did see a timeline where I was nurse before entering the Dream World, so might as well give it a shot, right?"

"So what's the reward? I think Givin Gabriel the ability to heal or Pandora's Actor the ability to transform would be good." Muramasa said out loud

"As the slime was defeated by Lance Lafayette and Senji Muramasa, only they will be receiving words!"

Before Lance and Muramasa appeared two floating cards.

"Lance Lafayette has obtained smokescreen! Senji Muramasa has obtained a large portable smithy!"

"A large portable smithy...?" Rory said as a large smithy fell from the sky, crushing multiple trees.

"T-thanks honey. You're a real lifesaver" David muttered, flashing her a small smile as she treated his wounds.

"As the slime was defeated by Lance Lafayette and Senji Muramasa, only they will be receiving words!"

Before Lance and Muramasa appeared two floating cards.

"Lance Lafayette has obtained smokescreen! Senji Muramasa has obtained a large portable smithy!"

"A large portable smithy...?" Rory said as a large smithy fell from the sky, crushing multiple trees.

"Smokescreen?" Lance asked

He attempted to use his smoke manipulation, creating a large amount of smoke that covered his body"

"Fantastic! I can manipulate smoke again!"

"Then I can make Rory a sword to use. Give me a minute." Muramasa said, immediately getting to work.

"Then I see the strategy will be to have Gabriel destroy something next." Pandora's Actor said

Gabriel nodded, "I suppose so. At least we have more combat-ready people than before... I fail to see how this has anything to do with gluttony."

"If I were to guess Demiurge found gluttony distasteful and just handed the layer over to whatever his name is again." Pandora's Actor said

"If only we could let dice give ourselves advantages..." Masayoshi said, "That would be so helpful right about now..."

"please....no more slimes" he muttered.

he began walking forward, his bleeding stopped thanks to Masayoshi's treatment.

"Let's do that." Muramasa said, tossing Rory a katana similar to his, except of higher quality as the smithy disappeared

Pandora's Actor simply moved with his chains, prodding the ground ahead of the group for traps and hidden enemies

Rory grabbed it, "Feels nice in my hand. Good work, Senji." Rory said as the voice boomed out once more.

"Rory gains a boost when holding a sword! Rory's strength triples!"

"Oh, uh, cool...? I guess swords make me stronger." Rory said, shrugging.

"Well, unfortunately we can't use it until Gabriel gets the ability to heal back." Muramasa noted

"I mean...all Gabriel has to do is get the finishing blow right?" David said.

"Rory could soften them up, and then Gabriel could secure the kill....or something like that" David said, shrugging.

"And what makes you think Rory won't simply kill them in one hit and be done with it?" Pandora's Actor retorted

"...Rory is a lot of things, but she ain't sloppy," David said bluntly.

"If she wants something to live, she'll keep it alive."

"Anybody got a gavel I can use, in that case?" Masayoshi asked

"Uh, no, I don't believe anybody randomly has a gavel." Rory said.

A hard light gavel landed on Masayoshi's head and bounced off

"I have a gavel." GLaDOS said

"Whatever, let's get moving before the sun goes down-" Rory took a step forward.

"Rory stepped on a ground trap!"

"What the ****-" Suddenly, the ground beneath Rory sprung up, launching her many miles away. "...What." Gabriel said, "I guess Rory is gone...?"

David glanced in the direction Rory was launched.

"Guess we are gonna have to figure this out without her" David said, turning back to the path.

"All we need to do is find the boss of this place. I saw a pretty large mountain when I was scouting the area, so let's head over there." Gabriel said, turning to the North as she began walking.

"By the way David, nows as good a time as any of what happened to Shalor." Pandora's Actor said
