One Piece Chapter 1043: "Let us die together" (Official Release)

I was right about Kaido rushing down and attacking everyone in front of him. I'd like to think we're approaching the end of the arc, but there are still some unresolved cores apart from Kaido (Navy Ships, Zunisha, Zoro's Death). I wouldn't want Oda to repeat what happened at the end of Whole Cake where the protagonists had a forced escape; I don't think that would be so fair to the samurai and the people of Wano, who pinned their hopes on the salvation Luffy proposed to bring.

I believe that after Luffy becomes Joyboy he will probably give Zunisha an order to clean the navy ships (since Zunisha came to fight) and after defeating Kaido, he destroys Onigashima, preventing it from falling in the center of the capital (About this part, I'm not sure, Momo can hold the island with his clouds too).

As for Zoro's death, that might remain a mystery that would lead us to the next arc (The people of Wano must surely have a sense of the otherworld and how to get there - perhaps this is linked to the valhalla on Elbaf? - have you ever imagined the possibility of seeing Zoro in hell meeting the "Sword God" Ryuma and be trained by him?). Some might not like the possibility of raising the dead, but I don't think Oda would make that in a way that affects the narrative negatively (Like he did about time travel).

Imagine they see ace there

Who else here thinking about Luffy already dead but Joyboy take control Luffy's mind, body and personality or just only Me?

Alot of people thinking about Luffy's Grand Fleet would come to Wano for Back up, but with Luffy's awakening there was another plot how to escape from Onigashima and put out the fire off

The entire island would got Luffy's AOE awakening technique rather than he destroying Onigashima
As for Zoro's death
Why would Zoro have to die? He already had same situation like on the Thriller Bark maybe even worst

It's not impossible for Oda to bring back the dead considering it's heavily implied Luffy died this chapter against Kaido:
  • Momo says he he can't hear Luffy's voice anymore with the voice of all things despite Luffy being able to use it while unconscious after his last lose against Kaido.
  • The "silence" sound effect that appears over luffy's body is for those who have died.
  • Kaido declared him dead this chapter, in 1013 he said he should have killed Luffy and announced his victory meaning Kaido sensed that Luffy had died to his last attack.

Yeah, Thriller Bark situation be like
The Thriller Bark situation is slightly below this one.

Zoro took a lot of damage + Luffy's damage. That's a lot, but not nearly enough to compare with Wano situation.

He took damage from Apoo, and others, got hit by some Yonkou attacks, blocked a double attack from the Yonkou which broke nearly ALL his bones, fought King and took major damage there, THEN he doubled his pain from before ontop of the damage he took from King. Luffy's damage during Thriller Bark is nothing compared to this.

Don't forget him getting point blank Thunder Bagua'd after using Asura.

I hope that Marco can save Zoro.

If the fruit is indeed Gomu, he can conceivably trap the entire explosion inside the island by turning the whole island into rubber, but it can only be done after everyone has evacuated

Yes, but Momo has Observation Haki too.
1. No other observation user seems to have caught on to it. Momo and Law were the only two persons shown to realize what had happened
2. Momo and Law both say "his voice has disappeared"

Looks like he used the same words as Momo in this chapter
Same words used by Kaido in 1009. But neither Kaido or Law are voice of all things users otherwise they would have heard Zunesha; law especially since he was on Zou but wasn't able to.

Okay. Thank you for the reply.

Law can hear the Voice of all things???
Think that's just observation considering Kaido/Big Mom said a similar thing after the Hakkai.

"Voice" is literally a term used by users of Observation Haki.

Observation Haki users refer to presences as "voices" since Skypiea, what are you on about?

Also, lack of comment on it /=/ lack of awareness of it.
