New Year, New Anime Recommendation for Bambu

Ousama Ranking/Ranking of Kings: The protagonist of the story is Bojji a small prince, who is deaf and mute, that is treated as idiot (do to how naive and pure he is) and everyone ridicule him, the child is also abnormally weak despite be the son of giant that is the strongest man in the world.
The story begin when the protagonist meet a shadow that become his friend and support him as one of the few persons who have geniunely show to care for him, then both begin a travel to make Bojji a king. In their path they meet several characters and both grow through the experiences they live.
This is one of those stories were the strong point are the character, all of them have their own stories and personalities, so they feel quite alive, each of them have a charisma that can make people easily like them.
The anime have 23 episodes.

I think it would be best to recommend an anime that actually has a conclusive ending, a complete story, and that boils down to more than just "cool fights go brrr".
In that sense, I will back up the suggestions of Steins;Gate. Probably the most worthwhile of that list at the start. Just the first season is enough.

I forget to add; it has less than 50 episodes, a new season just recently dropped. Film is also available and def recommend watching it before Season 1.
