Yes IK wankbroken I know but unlike Fate, Tsukihime and KT's h scenes can be removed and nothing would change in the story unlike HF where the story is really wonky without it. Doesn't change the fact that KNk and Notes and Mahoyo and DDD do not have h scenes anyways and also that H scenes are terrible as a concept and from a writing perspective

Still, Dies Irae’s completed version with all of the routes and such has 0 h-content. It’s about as much of an eroge as something like mahoyo.

Shinza has expansive lore that works better without the h-scenes than it does with.
Product of 1990’s to 2000’s otaku culture, if you weren’t an established developer, if your game didn’t include at least some h-content….. good luck selling any copies lol

eh. I wouldn't say that it's terrible, just not needed in most stories, and done poorly in others. I wouldn't put any in any of my current writing projects, (there's no place for it, and it would be really forced, seeing as I mainly do action and I have no experience, so it would be either really unrealistic or a "fast forward") but that doesn't make it bad when someone who can write it well actually does it well.

Alright that's fair I'll admit that much and Shonen Jump is superior to hack vn writers because they do not need such lowly mugs as h scenes and also same with seinen manga like Monster and 20th century boys and Umineko (one of the rare VN's besides Clannad and Narcissu that has no hscenes even at release and works better without it) etc.

I dislike the entire concept as a whole as it is really trival and appeals to lowest common denominator.

I dislike it being publically shown want to show it? show them having kids easy solution (LOTR and Clannad After stories went with this approach) and no i am not the second group I am indifferent to it as a whole.

You could also just have them making out and then cut to the next day or a few hours later with them naked in a bed or putting some clothes on and anyone with a brain (that's not stuck at 9 or has a child innocence) can infer what happened or just say later they did it. However some authors really do kind of see such stuff in an artistic light, (not saying that's what was going on here with Fate or Dies Irae). I came across an interview for some series, where an author on a manga was praising the animators on artistic feels of such scenes and describing it so passionately, I just couldn't help and laugh at that, and honestly didn't feel like he was BSing when he was saying that.

one of the best vns ever, if you liked the grisly atmosphere of the OG Tsukihime, you’ll like it. Yea Masada is known for its op characters,but that only happens in the later stages of the last 2 routes, it’s pretty grounded for the most part otherwise.

Talking negatively about Dies Irae for its h-scenes doesn't make much sense anymore when Masada himself went out with a new Amantes Amentes version that had all hscenes cut with extra stuff added, same for Kajiri Kamui Kagura with Akebono no Hikari.

Sure, if you find h-scenes uncomfortable; it's fine but I personally wouldn't comment on DI because of it just because of those as mentioned above. However I'll admit, h-scenes themselves didn't add much to the VN (as most barely do), a few of them were okay-ish but it being blackscreened or an allusion to it (which Amantes Amentes does sometimes anyway) would've been better for the Acta est Fabula version.
 
oh right, curious on the thoughts on Fate S/R. playing it rn and I am enjoying it a lot. (Especially since it's easy on my power-scaling brain, I wanna watch Fgo's plot since I know that's considered good. But uh Fate GO gives my power scaling brain a headache.)

Aren’t you omitting context? Also if you’ve read HF, you’d know that’s not what the grail looks like.

This is a temporary pathway created by the grail,but not the grail itself. We know from fate/visual story that it can do this, this isn’t new.

Nah not at all. I found her to be one of the most generic and annoying characters in all of fiction let alone TM. The way the fandom romanticizes her and excuses her action is very remincist of Light Yagami or Walter White defenders. Though, in this case it would be Griffith from Beserk since like Sakura, he too has a "alternative" personality not really ergo Femto. let me quote a wisemen that sums it's perfectly (I disagree with him bout Hf since I think it's garbage)

"Heaven's feel is a great story about what it means to love, but I cannot accept that it's the best route. Sakura is constantly jealous, needy, clingy, and spiteful and people seem to turn a blind eye to the problems. Sakura admits that she is a coward, she blames people who had no idea about her struggles for not helping her, and to top it all off, we have to lose Illya AND Saber. Illya lost her parents and was groomed by the Einzberns to win the Holy Grail War. She was told that her father betrayed her and her mother and throughout this route she realizes that she was lied to. Saber fought for her country and saved countless lives, yet was abandoned by her people. The people who she saved never saved her. She buried her own heart for the sake of others and felt she could never pursue her own desires as a woman. After swearing to protect Shirou she gets absorbed by the shadow and is forced to serve Sakura, who after being jealous and clingy all route becomes the main antagonist. She is then forced to fight Shirou and Rider. Shirou then kills her with his own two hands, and the visual novel says that this is the path he chose, killing someone he cared about to save Sakura. Shirou then is about to project Excalibur to destroy the grail, but Illya stops him. Illya, who lost her parents and hasn't had anyone she considered family since then, gives up her life to save the only family she has left. I could forgive it if only Illya or only Saber had to be sacrificed to save Sakura, but both of them are sacrificed to save her. Throughout this entire route Sakura has only ever cared about two things, her own life, and staying with Shirou. She doesn't care about anyone else and when she becomes dark Sakura she takes sadistic pleasure in killing and destroying and admits to being a destructive creature who hates all of humanity because her frail ego cannot accept being not the center of attention 24/7/365 and when Rin is able to match her by using a mystic code that can access the second magic, she throws a temper tantrum. I can understand being sympathetic to Sakura, I am too, but why do people try to justify her actions and attitude? "
This does not even touch on something else. The fact her route centers on being a selfish a hole that can do whatever they want, wherever they want, whenever they want 24/7 and you should not get consequences? thats terrible and the worst part is how Kiritsugu get's cast in this route as if he was some tyrant or something (I don't agree with his line of thought fully but he stopped himself from being Sauron or Light Yagami which is good enough).

Also, the arguments made to defend her are painfully cherry picked and ignore all relevant context. So yea, I will never respect tetsuo shima but worse and with booba.
